The brightness and color are the first things that stand out, I feel as though I could grab the characters from the movies I've watched. It also handles bright rooms really well during the day, what was really important for our living space. In AI mode, the image is not as solid with a pale tone. By scrolling though YouTube index, some thumb nails images are not solid. Thereby is not the TV, just need to find time to fine tune base on my own preference. Consider the price, I would buy one again. My purchase is mostly based on price and my love for the Samsung remote.

And I say that as both a previous 8K and Samsung Neo QLED owner. The R85H might be the best bang for the buck considering both price and quality. It's cheaper than the more premium Micro RGB R95H, yet it's got a better picture quality than Samsung's OLED and Neo QLED TVs. It hits the sweet spot of latest tech for as close to affordable as we could expect. On top of that, it has all of the smart Tizen features we've grown accustomed to expect and love with the Samsung, and it's very easy to setup and use. Highly recommend this TV for anyone who's considering the latest RGB trend. The era of Micro RGB is upon us--and I love it.

Initially I noticed some blooming but there are a lot of settings you can adjust. After a bit of adjusting and updates, it's quite impressive and much improved LED tech. Adjustments and updates made a world of difference. You'll be hard pressed to find the same colors, dark levels, and brightness on any tv out there. I like vivid colors and brightness due to a large, bright room. This set excels at both. It's REALLY hard to find such a wide color gamut, extreme peak brightness, and decent black levels that also should have no risk of burn-in. I can't wait to see additional benefits from future software updates and further development of this tech.

When I first booted up the TV, I noticed the significant speed and ease switching through the menus and apps. The system also sports AI to help guide you to the best Sound and Display settings. A big plus is the WiFi 6E. Now I have faster speeds that are not limited to 5Ghz and is even faster than the wired ethernet connection. Love the TV, especially the Micro RGB, which I never thought would pop so much.

It has so many features that stand out next to all the TVs I have owned. The colors really pop on this TV. It really is vibrant and has great contrast. It works well in darks and bright spaces. The color separation with dark scenes really stand out and help to distinguish the dark and light parts of the screen. It seems to be OLED like. There isn’t a lot of blooming like a traditional lcd television. So the blacks look dark while the colored scenes are vibrant. The setup was simple and and the stand is versatile. You can make it narrow or wide and option to have I low or higher to accommodate a soundbar. It can even turn on by itself when you enter the room.

I wanted a noticeable improvement in the viewing experience, and this Samsung 85-inch Micro RGB delivered that. Micro RGB picture made the difference for me. It’s so noticeable that I can appreciate while watching, and it matters when the TV you already owned gave you no reason to complain. This feels like a worthwhile upgrade. Going from 75 to 85 inches adds to the experience, and together with the Micro RGB picture, it makes me glad I decided to upgrade. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. At least initially TV has lived up to what was advertised and based on my experience so far, I would happily recommend it.

I purchased this as it was the latest Micro RGB technology. The first thing is it takes a lot of colour calibration to stop unnaturally bright reds. The end result is a picture is not as good as a 15 year old LED screen. The biggest problem with the TV is that if you view it from anywhere other than directly in front - you get a completely washed out view. I purchased this after being impressed with the picture of a friends 75 inch Samsung neo QLED - this screen is far inferior despite being more expensive.

I’ve mainly been using OLED displays which have amazing blacks but do suffer from some brightness issues. In my opinion the black levels for this display are on par with OLED, but the brightness really sets these displays apart. A few other things worth mentioning. I like controlling my TVs using a home automaton system so RS232 is a must. The TV supports RS232 via the 3.5 mm ExLink port. It has plenty of HDMI ports. Also I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the builtin speaker. This TV is in my bedroom where I don’t need a sound bar or sound system. I’m not used to hear good sound from the TV itself, but Samsung actually did a great job with the speakers. Nice clear room filling sound. All in all I’m happy with this purchase and excited to see how this technology evolves.

It almost gives me a 3D like vibe. I have multiple Samsung TVs, but this one is something special!! There are truly few sets like this on the market. I compared it with my Samsung 8k which was a bit unfair in certain aspects, and which believe it or not, 8k is not just a hyped up thing; It's a noticeable thing. That said, the RGB R85H stood out in ways that I didn't expect. The RGB backlighting tech gave the screen a certain quality and feel to the image. It not only made the screen more colorful but made it appear a bit more lifelike, giving it a bit more immersion into the movie and content being watched. I really had to look and look again, and compare to figure why it looked so good. I really enjoyed watching movies on this TV and would recommend it to anyone!!

I would also recommend you purchase the latest sound bar to work alongside your tv speakers which is called Q Symohony. You do not require.a soundbar as tje speaker system built in tonthe tv are excellent. That is just my choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is honestly one of the most interesting panels Samsung has put out lately, and not just because of the usual marketing hype. I'm usually an OLED fan, and love the deep blacks. I've always been super interested in Micro RGB, and this model uses actual microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs as the backlight itself. When we're watching anything from movies, to shows, or sports, you see these colors are incredibly punchy and accurate without bleeding into each other. It really hits that sweet spot between the raw brightness of a traditional LED and the rich contrast of an OLED, and, you get zero anxiety about screen burn-in. When you hook up a PS5, an Xbox, or even a gaming PC, the 144Hz refresh rate is amazing. The built-in speakers are also pretty good, but I would suggest getting a sound bar for truly good immersion and to do the picture quality justice. All in all, this TV is a seriously impressive package. Makes movies, games, and anything look really great.

You can see literally every detail in crystal-clear definition. The speakers that come with the TV are good but I think this TV pairs best with a surround sound system. It is thin, fairly light and will look great in any room you choose. I also like the 55" size as it isn't too big for a smaller space, either. Samsung is the only brand of TVs that we have in our household and we anticipate it to stay that way for quite a while. They make excellent products that include thoughtful features and an intuitive UI system. While I don't enjoy the ads each time we turn it on, you can easily scroll down to the app or program you want to choose from. I wanted an updated Samsung TV and chose Micro RGB, hoping this one will last just as long. The colors are absolutely stunning! The red, green, and blue LEDs deliver a level of purity and saturation that makes regular TVs look dull by comparison. The brightness is incredible, easily cutting through the daytime glare in our sunny living room. Despite how bright it gets, the black levels are perfectly inky, with virtually zero blooming around bright text or subtitles. Live sports look crisp and fluid thanks to the AI Motion Enhancer, and my console games feel incredibly responsive at 144Hz. The monolith design is ultra-sleek, with tiny bezels that make the massive 75-inch screen appear as if it’s floating on the wall. So far, watching the World Cup has been a great experience. The picture is clear and beautiful, and the large screen makes a big difference. Overall, it’s a great upgrade.

I like the tv, but the sound is better with a soundbar, as the speakers must be at the back of the tv and sound a bit muffled. Love the colour and clarity.

Pairing it with my Samsung Q‑Series soundbar takes the experience to another level. Q‑Symphony blends the TV’s speakers with the soundbar, creating a wider, fuller front soundstage. Dialogue becomes clearer, effects feel more immersive, and the whole setup feels perfectly synchronized — like the TV and soundbar were designed to perform as one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Micro RGB technology provides a crisp clear picture with absolutely brilliant color. Side by side comparisons in the local big box stores is what sold me on this television, even before the sales team explained how the new Micro RGB sets were able to provide this vivid, clear picture. Additionally, the new home screen and the intuitive set-up and navigation were a welcome improvement to old "assign/select HDMI connections" hassle. The brightness and color contrast are top rate (best that I've seen), and my kids love the response they see in their gaming systems due to the high refresh rate. But, possibly the biggest game changer is the new screen surface that almost eliminates the glare. This television is located in the living room, which often catches reflections from the adjacent kitchen, or the large windows nearby. However, those shadow images are virtually eliminated, from any viewing angle. So there's no more shifting seats or tilting the television, or "Turn off the lights, Mom!" in order to enjoy the latest movies or cooking channel. There is definitely another Samsung Micro RGB product in our future.
