Intuitive control

AI Home* (7” LCD Display)

Enjoy a simple way to wash with a 7” wide LCD touchscreen display, which acts as an intuitive control center**. It also personalizes your laundry by suggesting cycles to suit your habits and periodic and seasonal needs***and shows timely information. And, after washing, it provides a report****.

Intelligent washing

AI OptiWash+™

Clean clothes thoroughly, gently and efficiently*. AI OptiWash+™ senses the laundry’s weight and uses the appropriate amount of water and detergent. It also detects the fabric**, now including Outdoor and Denim fabrics, and monitors the soiling level, adding detergent or rinsing time if needed.

* Based on an AI-created algorithm and internal testing using the AI OptiWash+ cycle on an IEC 8 lb load. A turbidity sensor operates for all weights, while fabric sensing operates for 8 lbs and under. Actual results may vary depending on individual use.
** Based on an advanced AI-created algorithm. It many not detect certain fabrics or accurately identify them when a load includes a mixture of different fabric types. To prevent wear, wash like fabrics together.

Fit in many items

5.3 cu. ft. Ultra Capacity

Wash many laundry items at once – saving time and effort. The washing machine has an ultra capacity of 5.3 cubic feet, so you can fit lots of clothes into a single load, including big items like a king-sized comforter. It means you need to wash fewer loads and can enjoy more time for yourself.

Flex Auto Dispense System

Get great washing results with less effort*. A Flex Auto Dispense System dispenses the right amount of detergent and softener for each load. It gives you the flexibility to use various detergents and softeners and holds enough for up to 20 loads, or up to 34 loads if you only use detergent**.

**Expected number of loads: Detergent compartment can hold general detergent for up to 20 loads. Flex compartment can hold one of the following: softener for up to 20 loads, general detergent for up to 14 loads or specialty detergent for up to 18 loads.

One control for two*

MultiControl™

Control two machines using one simple control*. When a dryer is stacked up on the washer its MultiControl can be flexibly changed to control either. So you don’t need to stretch to reach the dryer or use a separate remote control. Simply select the washer or dryer to make doing laundry easy!

* MultiControl™ is only available when the dryer is stacked up on the washer, connected to each other using a MultiControl™ & Stacking Kit (sold separately).

Listens to you

Voice Enabled

Control the washing machine really easily with your voice. Using Samsung Bixby*, you can simply say what you what you want it to do and it will do it. So you can select cycle options, control settings and monitor its progress. And, if you cannot read the screen, it can provide spoken feedback.

Drum Light

Empty your washing machine easily – and never misplace another sock! The internal Drum Light brightly illuminates your laundry and the rest of the drum. So you can quickly check the contents and make sure that you get everything out. Now you won’t overlook even the smallest item in the dark.

Easy disabled use

ADA Compliant (Accessibility)

Use the washer with ease if you are physically disabled or your movement is restricted or you are visually impaired. With the Samsung Riser, it is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) height requirement*, so loading and unloading is easy. The control panel also plays sounds.

Prevents damp smells

Auto Open Door

Avoid having to wash clothes because they smell unpleasant if they are not taken out immediately. When a cycle ends, Auto Open Door automatically opens the door to let humid air escape. So your laundry won’t develop a musty odor from being damp and it helps keep the washer fresh and clean.

Removes stains

Steam Wash

Use the power of steam to eliminate stains without pre-treatments. The powerful Steam Wash cycle improves the cleaning quality of your wash. It releases steam from the bottom of the drum, so every item is thoroughly saturated as it rises. This loosens ingrained dirt and ensures deep cleaning.

* This cycle is suitable for fabrics made of cotton and synthetic fibers. It is not recommended for fabrics made of silk and wool or functional clothes, including delicates and outdoor/activewear.

Keep the washer fresh

Drum Clean+

Keep the door and inside of your washer thoroughly clean and fresh. Drum Clean+ removes dirt that can collect in the drum with a combination of soaking, pulsating and spinning. A water jet and high spin speed also remove grime from the door gasket. And it notifies you when it needs cleaning*.

Smart blanket washing

Bedding

Wash your blankets thoroughly, while saving time and water. The Bedding cycle senses the thickness of blankets (thin/thick*) and then adjusts the cycle time and water usage accordingly. So when a thin small blanket is detected it reduces the washing time and the amount of water**.

* Washes dry blankets weighing up to 4 kg. A thin blanket is made of 100% cotton material, no filling (size 240 x 160cm, over 710g). A thick blanket is an ultra-fine fiber comforter (size 200 x 180 x 3cm, over 1900g)
** Based on internal testing comparing the WF53********** model (with the previous bedding course) to the WF90F53AD*** model (with the new bedding course) when washing 1 bed sheet (IEC 60456 bed sheet: 100% cotton, no filling, 240 x 160cm). When a thin blanket is detected the washing time is reduced by 14 minutes and the water usage is reduced by 20 liters. Results may vary depending on the actual bedding and usage conditions.

Wash in 28 minutes

Super Speed

Cut your laundry time in half and clean clothes thoroughly. Use Super Speed to wash a full load in 28 minutes*. A powerful water spray helps detergent penetrate fabrics faster and speeds up rinsing. A large diameter drum cleans with more force and a Swirl+ pattern extracts water effectively.

* Based on internal testing using a Super Speed cycle with an 11 lb DOE (cotton 50% + polyester 50%) load.
** A normal one-hour wash can be completed in as little as 28 minutes compared to Samsung’s WF511 washing machine without Super Speed.

Do your laundry without much disturbance. Innovative AI VRT+™ technology reduces noise and vibration during washes*, even at high spin speeds. A new frame design provides great stability. Its Frame Mems sensor also improves vibration detection and a 2-stage damper reduces the noise of the motor.

Cleans thoroughly

AI Bubble™ *

Enjoy effective washing with AI Bubble™*. It dissolves detergent to create a thick foam that penetrates into fabric**. It also detects the fabric type, so it can adjust the bubbles and wash time. A Speed Spray rinses away dirt and detergent residue. It enables thorough yet gentle*** cleaning.

* AI Bubble™’s detection and sensing capabilities are available for AI OptiWash+ and Bedding cycles only and are based on our deep learning models, which are trained using a predefined set of data and may yield inaccurate or incorrect results. New datasets may be introduced to our learning models from time to time to enhance their accuracy.

Reduces microplastic

Less Microfiber Cycle

The Less Microfiber cycle adjusts the motor’s revolution speed and washing intensiveness to help prevent synthetic clothes from shedding microfibers. As a result, it reduces the amount of microfiber in the water drained from the washing machine by up to 39%*.
