When trying to pair the keyboard with my M5 smart monitor, it won't connect. I receive the pairing code, type it in, and then get an error message stating "Unable to connect to Samsung KBD Trio 500. Make sure device is turned on". The device is obviously turned on. I have no idea what else to do. It won't even connect to my Samsung Galaxy21+ properly. HELP!

I absolutely hate this product. Pairing and making it work is such a pain and it does not work most of the time. One pairing is not enough, you have to pair it every time you connect or turn off your device or keyboard. And even new batteries show 25%. It drops to 15% after a very short use. Do not buy unless your device is Samsung. Tried it on a Samsung phone and it connected pretty easily. But again, you have to pair it every time, and your paired devices list will be filled with "Smart KBD Trio 500". After you connect to a Samsung device, F7-8-9 key do not work to change between devices (non-Samsung).

Had this wee keyboard for the Samsung M7 monitor, I've now upgraded to the M8 monitor and hooked up the keyboard and mouse. It's proper good - I'm able to control various functions (volume/home/back/play/pause/scroll etc) as well as assigning 3 different apps to one of the 3 hot keys. Also I've paired it with my S23 Ultra and my S8 tablet so can easily swap between them (tbf I might use it lots or no much but it's available which is good. I'm fairly happy with it, I presume the keys are not the 'best ever' but I've found them perfectly adequate (I mean when I press say the A key, almost immediately a A has appeared on the screen. You can do it with any key, as fast or as slow as you like.). I was trying to find a fault, something that will subject it to being a dust collector, but alas there's nothing, no even a tiny issue that I can turn into a negative, but nope nothing. Would it be an award winning keyboard ⌨️? Maybe, definitely maybe... ✌️ 5/5

I'm a long-time galaxy user, so I naturally try to use Samsung products assuming it'll connect better within its own ecosystem. What I like about this product compared to K380 so far: -Key caps are rectangular - less typo, more comfortable on my fingertips. -The keys look flat, but it actually has some curve like K380 for the grip -The keys don't wiggle/make noise even when I shake the keyboard -distance between keys is 16.8cm, which is the same as a regular laptop keyboard. K380 is smaller and needed some time getting used to Cons: I like colours and this only comes in black and white. If we can get colours that match the galaxy phones/tablets etc. or something more aesthetically pleasing, it'd be nice.

I like the form factor and overall feel of the keyboard. I don't have any issues typing on it and it's a joy when it's working. For some reason, a few weeks ago, whenever I power on the keyboard my Tab S9 won't connect to it... I have it set to the F7 quick pair key and I press the key, the keyboard light flashes like it tries but it won't connect to the tablet. I can pull up bluetooth on the tablet, click connect to Samsung Trio 500 and then press F7 but it still won't connect. If I forget the keyboard, hold F7 to set a quick pair back to the tablet and add the keyboard it works. As soon as I power off the keyboard and power it back on it's back to needed to unpair and pair again... I'd say don't get this keyboard just for its quirkiness

This is the worst product I have ever purchased. The instructions are almost non-existent but what there is of them are in dozens of different languages. It took me 3 hours to figure out that the keyboard didn't work because there is a power slide switch hidden on the side of the keyboard. Nothing tells you that anywhere. Pairing still doesn't work worth sour apples. My TV pairs and connects to it but then tells me that the keyboard is disconnected when I try to use it. It has not up or down arrows. Who designed this thing?

High quality product, very easy to use and also very handy when you need to shift a lot between your laptop, phone and tablet as I do daily. The comfort of typing is really nice and the big buttons are very pleasant to use. Even when traveling with a car, train or plane it's very comfortable and fast to set quick messages or e.mails. One point of advise, do deliver also a fitting sleeve or protection with this keyboard so it will be better protected during transportation.

Bought this product about 5 months back but now it is not connecting to the computer showing a error message that says the password is incorrect even though I correctly typed it. Tried the same procedure in both my laptop and Samsung phone but the same error message is shown again which means that the only fault is with this keyboard. Overall I am really unsatisfied with this product as it is not functioning correctly with no heavy use within such a short time period.

When it works it's great, however 98% of the time it does not. Will not pair, pairs and then doesnt work, randomly unpairs while in active use, does not show up in bluetooth scan. I am pairing this exclusively with other samsung android devices and it simply does not work. Will never buy a samsung keyboard again. Fix your device and release an app to help manage and troubleshot this monstrousity. Seriously not good enough.

I really like this. I have had it for about 3-4 weeks now, and I have found it very useful and it does what it says in terms of features. There was one point it accidentally, in a good way, changed languages (like it would on the Samsung keyboard on my tablet or phone), but I can't figure out how to do that again using purely the Smart Keyboard. Hot take (@Samsung... wink wink...) : I travel a lot with this keyboard, and would really like there to be a case specifically made for this keyboard. Right now, I just travel with the box it came in... And as a YouTuber/Photographer who uses this when editing while travelling, it would be really nice to have a less 'boxy' case for it. (Also, yes it is a little thicker than the Apple keyboard, but it has a natural tilt which feels better for my hands. Not a bad thing, just something to note when looking into this product.)

Since i bought thia keyboard i was struggling with fhe connection. So many times i could connext after countless try! And for two days no way to connect. İ hold the f7-f9 button for 2 3 second amd colors flicker. And my device sees the keyboard and i write the 6 digit number press enter. And it comes nothing. No warning neither connection. I'm a Samsung fan, whatever Samsung builds I'm in, except this keyboard is a waste of money for me. I love it for one day, next week I started to dislike the fact that I can't use it without the FN key, but now I really HATE it because I've to re-pair Bluetooth slot 1 after every switch to another device. I wish if there was software to fix these issues.

I loved how elegant and solid this keyboard, it's much better than I expected. The only downside is how much frustrating having to use the function keys for repetitive tasks specially that most applications I use uses F5 to run, now now I've to look at the keyboard to spot the FN key to press it along with the F keys.

good keyboard. I don't see any sufficient disadvantages. It switches between S21 and macbook on macOS Ventura perfectly by a short press of coloured button. I set up red button for macbook because of apples in good condition are usually red and blue for S21 because of Samsung logo is usually blue.

Really great keyboard for on the go and for main computer. Pairs super easy with my tablet, phone and laptop when it's docked at the docking station. No pairing issues, everything works as expected. Really like the low profile and click'yness that is audible but not overbearingly loud.

It's not bad when it works, lightweight, portable, and easy to type on. The issue is it never stays paired with my computer. What's worse, when it unpairs it's impossible to get it paired again. I've wasted so much time with this device! Don't waste your money.

Without Fn lock-off its absolutely no point to use it. Also, a space button miss the click, so you need to find the good spot on the button to have it work every time. If samsung wants to make a worst keyboard - they did it.

I bought this about a year ago and initially only used it a handful of times. I've recently started using my tab for school with this keyboard, when i want to stay in bed but be productive, and I love it. It's so convenient, fits right in the carrying case with my tablet when I do go somewhere and want to take it. I have it out all the time now. I bought a desk that goes over my bed just to use this with. Desktop computer for my desk when I want to get up, and tablet mounted w/ samsung keyboard and mouse when I dont. I realize this sounds incredibly lazy - I broke my back a couple years ago though. Honestly, it took seeing all of these terrible 1 star reviews to give it credit. I usually don't leave reviews. But while we are here - I cracked the screen on my phone and the bottom half flashes in and out whenever I use it. I can still see the keyboard to use it but it's a giant inconvenience. When i realized I could use this keyboard to respond on my phone also... game changer. Now I dont have to respond with gibberish or take 10 min to send a text while I wait for my local repair shop to get my replacement phone screen back in stock. Love this keyboard.
