I bought this last year and never left a review and decided to now. I've gotta say, I honestly don't know why more manufacturers don't make 2k displays. It's the perfect budget option for gamers, where it just not 4k but still beautiful and playable. Colors are vivid and great. The base leaves something up to the imagination, not much flexibility with it and no premade mounting solutions. Also the IO is kinda irritating. It has 1 HDMI, 1 MiniDP, and 1 Power In. The thing that frustrates me the most is that this monitor is extremely picky about hdmi cables so if you need a longer one then what is included be careful browsing for longer cables.

I purchased two of these monitors a few months ago, one for work and one for home. The video quality is great. However, there was an oversight regarding audio out as my home PC only has HDMI and Digital Audio out. My previous monitor had an 3.5mm audio out so I could connect my speakers to the monitor. Unfortunately, I can't do the same with this monitor. Finding a simple computer speaker that supports digital audio out is almost impossible. If there was an audio out on this monitor, it'd be prefect.

I purchased this monitor and it works great as a modern, curved monitor for work. A few months later I wanted to mount the monitor on a mounting arm. I was a bit surprised to find that there isn't a "mount square" on the back of this monitor - I've never seen that before in a modern monitor. I've googled online but haven't found any information on how to mount this monitor to a mounting arm. If you plan to mount this monitor, be sure it supports external mounting first.

I have had this monitor for just over a year. I have owned a good number of monitors and use a good number more. Some complain about the lack of features. But this is a great, inexpensive monitor. I don't understand why some expect every bell and whistle on a lower priced monitor. This monitor gives you great picture, clear text and a good deal of real estate. If you are looking for more than this. Then you will need to pay up for it.

my 32" curved monitor has flickered from day one. there's a problem with the hdmi input port. it's not soldered well. if you hold pressure on it it calms down. vertical rollover and static galore. when it decides to work, it's fine for a bit, then starts again. very frustrating when i'm trying to focus on work. i'll never buy a samsung monitor again... $ money wasted..

I use this screen as a monitor hooked up to my MacBook Pro through the Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort. Images are crisp and clear while text - vectorized as well as html - looks like something printed on an old inkjet printer. I've tried all screen settings on my computer as well as on the monitor, nothing helps. How do I fix this?

I received this monitor as a gift for christmas. I unpackaged the monitor, plugged it into the HDMI, and there is a white bar that runs across the right side of the screen. As I attempt to submit a request for service, I continuously get an error on the symptom page. Looks like I may be stuck with a dead monitor. Thanks Samsung!

I gave this monitor 4 stars because it’s lacking mounting option and no welcome screen when turn on the monitor which makes it lack that premium feel and look. However the picture quality is excellent and that’s what really matters at the end. I definitely recommend this monitor!!!

I will preface with saying I had planned on buying a 27" monitor. Ended up getting the 32". Not sure if it is just too big for using for working on documents etc and would be better suited for gaming despite not sold as a gaming monitor where you might be positioned further away from the screen. For reference I have almost 2ft between center of monitor and my eyes. I have exhausted all options to optimize resulution both via Macbook System Preferences/Display and the Samsung Monitor 'JOG Button'. I was able to tweak the sharpness to where it is decent but not acceptable for a $400+ monitor in my opinion. I have used my new MacBook Pro Retina display for a few weeks. Could be that am used to the immense clarity of it and need more time to adjust to a 'regular' monitor. I am also currently using an iMac 27" desktop with Retina and also have an iMac 21" that is older with no Retina but yet has better resolution sharpness than this Samsung Curved monitor. I will update my review in another few days if I decide to keep this monitor.

4 weken geleden heb ik dit prachtige scherm aangeschaft omdat mijn oude monitor dringend aan vervanging toe was, mijn huidige pc leverd grapichs die mijn oude scherm niet aan kon. Na het aanschaffen van de Samsung monitor is het gamen bij langer na hetzelfde niet meer, wat een geweldige details en beeld kwaliteit heeft deze monitor! Met de game modus worden de kleuren net wat scherper waardoor je de kleinste details kan opmerken in een spel. Ook Series en films kijken is geweldig mooi op het scherm! Ik twijfelde eerst of de kromming in het scherm wat zou uit maken maar dit is wel degelijk het geval! Je word als het ware echt in de film gezogen om zo maar de zeggen. De installatie van de monitor was in 2 seconden klaar, de HDMI en de voeding zijn door de voet weg gewerkt waardoor je geen lelijke kabels ziet uitsteken en omdat de HDMI en de voeding in 1 kabel zijn verwerkt heb je maar 1 kabel die je moet wegwerken! De kabel is ook lang genoeg om bijvoorbeeld je pc onder je bureau met gemak te bereiken! Het enigste nadeel vind ik in mijn geval dat de voet ver naar achter staat ten opzichte van het scherm waardoor hij wat verder naar je toe staat. Al met al is dit gewoon een heerlijk scherm!

Geweldige monitor! Om te beginnen met het uiterlijk: erg mooi gestyled. Zowel voor- als achterkant zien er gelikt uit. Achterkant is erg mooi afgewerkt, zonder koelopeningen, schroeven en zichtbare in- en uitgangen. Alle in- en uitgangen zijn weggewerkt achter een witte schijf die in het ontwerp valt en makkelijk te openen/sluiten is. Doordat de kabels door de standaard lopen, zie je deze ook niet zitten. 1x installeren en daarna hoef je er niet meer naar om te kijken. De voet is vrij groot, maar nodig om het scherm stabiel te houden. De standaard steekt wel wat ver naar achter, wat betekent dat het scherm niet dicht op een muur te plaatsen is. Het komt een stuk verder op mijn bureau naar voren dan mijn vorige (platte) scherm. Dan het scherm zelf: waanzinnig mooie kleuren! Ook zwart lijkt veel zwarter dan in een normaal LCD scherm. Er zijn verschillende standaardinstellingen die passen bij verschillende toepassingen waar je het scherm voor wilt gebruiken (bijv. fotobewerking, films kijken, etc.) Daarnaast is het scherm natuurlijk handmatig in te stellen. Er is ook een Eye Saver Mode aanwezig. In deze stand is het scherm minder blauw en veel zachter voor je ogen. Deze modus staat bij mij standaard aan wanneer ik aan het werk ben omdat mijn ogen veel minder snel moe worden. Daardoor de beste optie die het scherm heeft! Verder betekent de QHD resolutie dat er meer tegelijk op het scherm past. Dat betekent voor mij veel minder tussen verschillende bureaubladen wisselen, maar gewoon allerlei programma’s naast elkaar op hetzelfde bureaublad. Super fijn! De enige optie die echt nog wat zou toevoegen, zou een hogere beeldverversing zijn (100Hz bijv.)
