How to solve no power issue in Samsung TV?

Last Update Date : Jun 13. 2018

If your Samsung Television won't turn on, perform the troubleshooting steps below to rectify and resolve the issue.

1 Check to ensure that the power cable is properly plugged in the TV and wall outlet

Please note:

• Always plug the TV power plug into a standalone power socket
• If you are using a power board/surge protector, try plugging the TV directly to the wall outlet to check if the TV will turn on
• Make sure the wall outlet is working and met with the voltage requirement (AC 220 – 240V 50/60Hz)

Plug into wall socket
2 Check the status of the standby light located on the lower right corner of the TV. The TV is receiving power, if the standby light is on
