It's fundamentally a great phone. Good battery life great screen and even better camera. They're the only things that really differentiate one phone ftom another these days if you're just talking about the phone physically. My only gripes with my S22 Ultra are 1. It was expensive to buy up front. It obviously has a lot of profit margin that can be used to entice buyers with offers like free ear buds and Disney+ subscriptions. 2. The other thing that is annoying is that it regularly turns itself off...maybe every few days. And often at night. So you don't know it's done that. A nightmare if you are using your phone as an alarm in the morning.

This is a great phone and I'm truly loving the camera and the overall build quality of this device. The battery life is also splendid, and liking the option of the s-pen, though I've never really used it that much. Only thing stopping this phone from getting a 5 star review from me is the acknowledgement of SD card storage. I've a 256GB variant and lost quiet another of files due to the transfer process needed to get the files off the old device. Before, it was just a case of placing the card in the new phone. Please bring back the SD card slot. This is a high end device and would have loved to have all the tools available to me.

Beautiful phone, with amazing design but so many problems, have had little choice other than to return it. - GPS doesn't work for more than 1 hour at a time (need to restart the phone to make it work again). - Video and audio don't match up on any app (Netflix, TicTok, galary) needed to reset the phone to make it work (but only for 1 day before the lag returned. - The gameplay lagged, only very slightly but on all games irrespective of processing power needed. Such a massive disappointment as have always enjoyed Samsung phones. However the customer service has been very effective and have arranged for a replacement handset to be issued.

I do not think there is any wow factor in this phone if you compare it to the previous Samsung Galaxy phones. I feel it is an OK phone but to be honest I am not impressed with the battery life.at all. I keep a lot of good features off all the time that consume a lot of battery, even then my phone battery runs out in 15-16 hours. There are a lot of good features in this phone but due to the battery life, you can not use them much. So what is the point to have all these features? I have used the other Samsung models (S7, S9+ and S10+) previously and now I got Samsung S22 Ultra which I would say is an average phone, nothing is too unique.

Been a Samsung fan for years, and this one doesn't disappoint. It's got a great battery life and is really fast at anything you throw at it. The selling point for me was the cameras and the 100x zoom, I have managed to take some really good photos with this phone even with a moving subject its managed to capture the moments fantastically. Including the s pen with this model has been great, I've never used one before and I use it all the time to scribble down reminders and shopping lists and even to doodle! The screen is a decent size so you can read easily and picture quality is great for those neflix sessions whilst away from a TV! Thoroughly recommend

I enjoy almost everything about the device Design- bold, beautiful and big Software- one ui 5 is the best ever software I have used; it's fluid and refreshingly smooth Camera- not a camera enthusiast but have had a good time with it Overall performance is satisfactory Battery - while I can never wish for any downgrade of the display whatsoever (being the biggest battery drainer), I wish for more battery life. I believe software optimization may be the answer as the rate of power loss during idling appears significant. Overall: Samsung has done a good job with this device exynos or not. I have been having a good experience with the device till date

Lets start with the worst fingerprint scanner I have ever experianced on a phone/device. I have registered three different fingers and most of the time trying to get into the phone does not work so I have to resort to the 'pattern'. So now we are in the phone the screen and sound are very good as you would expect , speed also pretty quick. Im still finding things out as you go through all the apps . Like most phones it is nothing special to look at espicially once you put a cover on it as it needs one as the back is so shink it slides out of the hand or off the table if not sat straight. Is it worth the money probably not.

The phone looks good and stylish but warms up very easily, the cameras aren't good for taking photos. The sensor focuses on the subject and blurs the background which annoys me all the time. Taking group selfie is another pain. You can only see yourself in the photo and your friends will be blurred . My phone has 12 GB of RAM but time to time it gets frozen, whenever I contact Samsung they give me different reasons like its happening because of Facebook messenger chat heads, I must be using heavy apps etc. Whereas I don't don't do any heavy tasks. I've always been a Samsung fan but disappointed with the s22 ultra. Hope they fix the camera problems with updates.

Soo I'm not a big fun in writing reviews but I'm realllly dissapointed with the phone, I was expecting an amazing performance and moreee battery as it's the last generation, but actualy it's worst then my old phone. I can recomand only the pen that is fun to use otherwhise, nononono NO. Simply because, the screen is curved and soo many peoples who slightly dropped the phone had the screen damaged faster then usually, the battery is the highest - for me and another plus is the camera and if you want to visite a new city and take picturest the battery will dispaire... Fun to have the last generation but please look at all the review first as I'm not satisfied with...

Having used a wide variety of phones over the last few years I feel like the s22 ultra isnt the best. The camera is pretty good but after the s21 ultra Ive found that the cameras aren't as good as the previous model. The zoom is no where near as sharp and the night mode leaves a weird halo around any objects in the dark. Another problem I've had with the phone is charging. During the hotter weather I struggle to actually charge the phone as it was always overheating (day and night). I think this applys with all Samsung phones as the s21 ultra did the same. It also takes a lot longer to reliably charge. Even though it's 45w I never seems to charge at that rate.

Its a better battery life than the Note 9+ and quicker to do things. However most things including the same apps are harder to use even confusing and annoying. It doesnt like talking to a pc Win 7, or Win 11 via USB it often disconnects or even locks up transferring files, real annoying and really slow. Camera is better also, but in te dark it takes 3 seconds to capture a piccy. The Pen not as easy to use as on Note 9 another annoying aspect desparately need. In fact im going back to Note 9. Screen size is bigger thats a plus and undecided whether this phone has a weaker reception using the same SIM card in Note 9.

Great phone, but I do use AUX connection a lot and this phone hasn't got it at all. Didn't realise before buying. Only arrived with a cable to charge phone, but no plug to plug in to a normal socket, also - cable is rounded at both ends, so can't use the usb charging or any previous plugs that i have either. Also these days phones don't have any headphones which would be useful when AUX isn't present. I'm a driver, so normally make a call via AUX, because not all lorries has Bluetooth and now - I can't connect to a vehicle at all. Phone itself is great, but requires money to spent on, even it is a brand new phone.

The features great overall performance as well as a nice display and the stylus comes in useful for note making , art as well as general use, however the phone is very large and feels massive, the keyboard is difficult to write on especially if you use more than one language as the button for switching languages gives it an awkward layout and makes the space bar incredibly small. The backfacing camera captures a lot of detail and the notch for the front one is small making videos nicer to watch but this does come with some sacrifice to the quality. Overall thus phone feels very tailored to an audience beyond the average person who will find things like the stylus a necessity.

The s22 ultra is the most advanced phone at the moment. It's got a very good memory, ram is capable of using lots of apps at the same time. As usual it's camera is its best asset. The 100x zoom is very good and very accurate. Sharp, crisp and colourful photos everytime. An extra addition is the eraser option which comes in very handy when you have unwanted people on your photos. With the additional funtion of having the s pen which you can use as normal pen when writing to adding in designs on your pictures when you edit it. Also you can use it as a remote when you want to use selfies or group photos.

This phone is perfect for what I need a phone to do. Lots of space for my pictures and videos. Loads of power to run my photo and video editing apps. The built in stylus helps making these detailed edits easier. I also love how easily it integrates into my other Samsung devices like tablets, watches and TV. I like the extra features that One UI provides on top of the standard Andoid OS. It's makes it feel like a more purpose built experience. Especially with all the extra customisations that come with the Good Lock app. I would definitely recommend it to others. Especially if you use your phone for more than just call, texts and social media. As this phone can do so much more.

Since purchasing my S22 Ultra, I have had nothing but issues with it. If I turn WiFi on and connect to a WIFI connection, the phone will turn off and end up in a boot loop for around 30 minutes. The phone also ends up in a boot loop at random times, when on a phone call, browsing the Web or even on Facebook. Tried factory reset, tried clearing cache, tried all updates and still the phone ends up in random 30 minute boot loops.. I have now purchased a S23, and waiting until Samsung actually do something about the issue.. seeing as though 1000s of people are experiencing the exact same issue as I am.

The S22 ultra alone is enough to turn heads but after spending a weekend away along the coast in South Wales, my pictures all received top marks from my mates! The (almost) infinite zoom is perfect for scoping out the landscape and eliciting shock and surprise from people around you as they try to wrap their head around how a mobile device is capable of such a thing! However, the only advice I could give to the powers above is making the S Pen more usable in day to day tasks carried on the phone. Overall I'm very pleased with the S22 ultra and won't be in need of a upgrade anytime soon... or will I...

I really wish I hadn't bought this phone. I used to love Samsung phones but this model is so slow, extremely laggy and crashes constantly. It takes too long to take a photo or a screenshot and it annoys me that the camera has no option for the flash to stay on without taking a photo. Why are we removing these features? The fingerprint scanner sometimes does not work and the keyboard randomly starts typing on it's own even when the screen is completely clean. I also think it's ridiculous that the phone does not even come with a plug for the charger considering how much you pay for the phone. I definitely won't be buying another Samsung phone after this. This phone is infuriating to use.

I've mainly stayed with Samsung and Android because the phone and system are easy to use. Each upgrade gets better and better. The phones performance and power, design and the camera which is always amazing and now the new night mode really brings out the detail and clarity in each shot. I mostly watch tv/video on my phone and for me the screen is the best. The picture quality is so clear and detailed, Just amazing. The battery life is very long. You could use the phone all day and with the fast charge charger it's quick to recharge. So many features , really a phone for everyone. I see no reason to change from Samsung ever. I'm really happy with phone and have always been since the S4.

Bought this 3 weeks ago, and I still have to use my old note 9 for the sat nav! Tried every fix I could find but nothing helps, the gps just stops working almost every day and the only way to fix it is to restart the phone. Should have stuck to my guns and refused to buy because being in the UK meant stuck with the exynos instead of the snapdragon – Samsung – never again!

I have been left some what disappointed with my S22 ultra. Camera was not as good as what I was expecting. Also. WiFi has a struggle to keep it's connection. Unsure if I just need to wait on a fix being put in update or whether it is an actual issue with the hardware. The store I bought it from says there is no issue but when struggle with keeping it connected to WiFi and also having it disconnect from WiFi without notification. I would think there is an issue with something. Everything else with the phone is excellent. So it's a shame that both these things have left me disappointed with it.

I have had Galaxy phones for years and as a whole they have improved loads every year.....but.......the S21 Ultra and this S22 Ultra have issues. The features on the phone are brilliant, the cameras are amazing along with the apps that go with it but the connection issues have let them down over the last 2 years. When you leave a WiFi area into mobile data and 4G/5G the phone needs resetting more often than not because it won't connect to anything. This has become extremely frustrating to the point I might leave Samsung mobiles next time I upgrade, got to get the basics right too Samsung

I am a Samsung user since 2012 until now and I was satisfied always ! Near 2 months ago I have pre-orderd S22 ULTRA/512 G but I have received it too late.... Now its been a week since I have received my phone and once my screen was freezed completely for few seconds.. I just ignored it and today when I was taking photos suddenly the phone was restarted by itself!!! That's a shame for a Samsung flagship smartphone! I think I have to go service centre ASAP and wait to see what happens next?! Please hold on if you want to buy this flagship... Its issues needs to be fixed first.. Unfortunately!

I'm really glad I got this phone ,but im not sure I'm making the most out of it ,I'm also glad you haven't killed the note off entirely ,just by name (: ! I've been a note fan from the very 1st generation was released and I'm happy to say the s22 ultra picks up where the note left off ( I had the note 20 ultra previous to this model ) and I have to say I do love it ,I would add a video or picture only I would find that mega hard as this is the only device with a camera I have ,so I cant take a picture of the device as It would be nigh impossible ! Thanks again Samsung for a great product

Amazing phone, amazing camera, i love the s pen! But; It worked ok for the first week then calls started dropping mid call, there was no issue with my service provider or area... turned off my 5G to see if that would help as there's no 5G in my area yet, didn't work, swapped sim card tray, didn't work... tried my sim card in another phone it works fine! Still not sorted, a brand new phone and I have to resort to texting! It must be the phone but as I upgraded more than 14 days ago I can't send it back. I'm giving it 5* because overall it is an amazing phone apart from the calls dropping.

Extremely disappointed. It is my 5th phone and I never had such issues before. The Bluetooth doesn't stay connected, it takes ages to connect. While on a call or just music listening I need to keep the phone very close otherwise it disconnects. The screen touch doesn't work as it should. I need to press the buttons even 3 or 4 times before I get a pass code in. I try to hover over things and i just can't select what i need.The Internet connection both WiFi and mobile data in order to work needs at least 2 restarts DAYLY. I did check the sim card in another ohone and it works without any problems. I'm extremely disappointed. I never thought that I'll ever have issues with a brand new phone from Samsung

S-pen - hurrah. Wonderfully useful and properly stored safely inside the phone. Sharp screen, bright colours. Battery is good, typically lasting a full day and often still having 30% left. Good storage. Fingerprint recognition is dreadful compared to my previous Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with reader on the back, or with my Tab S7 with reader in the power key. Why does it need bevelled edges to the screen? Flat works far better, and with the S-pen it is even more annoying to lose the edges. Why so many duplicated apps? It is an Android phone that I use across other Android and Windows devices, so the Google apps are best for that. The screen isn't as wide as I'd prefer, please go back to a 16:9 ratio.

from day one this phone was disappointing. sure it has some nice features and the camera is excellent. however its full of bugs. it would constantly say it had no network connection although it had and refused to load anything. it would have no audio on calls and would need to be restarted some of this has be fixed with lots of software updates but it still regularly locks up and has ro be reset, drops its Bluetooth connection mid call etc my old note9 was far more reliable and had better battery life poor show from samsung just not good enough for a flagship phone

By no means a bad phone, just not the power house that you'd expect with the 'ultra' name. My phone arrived a few days ago and have experienced crashes whilst playing games, generally sluggish performance, and black screens when browsing the web. I do hope this is an early teething problems that can be fixed in an update soon. So far all seems to relate to the Exynos version of the device so I am bitterly disappointed that the UK got the short end of the straw. This is the worse experience I've had with a new phone so far, but I'm hopeful that Samsung will resolve these issues

The phone is OK having previously had other Samsung phones I'm very irritated that it can no longer accommodate an SD card I have no use for the stylus that comes with the phone which has simply taken up space on the phone for no benefits to me There seems to be way too many updates on the phone which is tying up alot of time. The front camera is of poor quality in comparison to the back camera quality. Treated myself after 10 years of buying the kids a phone and having their cast offs. Happy 50th to me! Great piece of kit. 5G a bit shakey. Probably EEs fault. Photos are better than the missus' iPhone. More punchy. Long Zooms a bit shakey and blurry. Need the grip of an SAS sniper to take a good one. Battery gets proper HOT in my pocket. Ear burner. Battery life better than older models. Although the older models I had were older when I got them. Pesky kids. Still happy with it. We'll see how we'll it pairs with the new 8k Samsung NeoQled that's coming tomorrow.

I've had this phone for 7 months now and there isn't anything that I dint like about it: 1- screen is good size for videos and games or general browsing 2- camera is absolutely stunning -it makes amazing photos in both day and night time. The x100 zoom is also very handy and really cool feature on a phone to show off! 3- the performance on this phone is something else - it's really quick, very snappy and loads games/apps in very little amount of time. Overall, I love this phone and I'm very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new Samsung phone or if you're switching brands. It could be a buy in the expensive side, but you really get what you pay for with this device, and more!

Let me start with saying I would prefer the Snapdragon processor as it performs better, this option should be the choice of the person purchasing the device not forced by the manufacturer. I would give the phone 5 stars of I had the Snapdragon version or even if I was given the Snapdragon option. I love the phone because it has an awesome green colour, the camera perform amazingly well and the screen is brought & responsive. I have oodles of storage with 512gb, playing videos is great sure to the oled screen and the sound quality is clear and very loud if required.

Love the phone in most aspects but there is 2 points I feel it falls short, 1)replaceable batteries, I am offen out and about in the wilderness or at sea, I am not always able to have a charge point with me and I would like to have the option to switch batteries with charged one. With battery saving on it lasts reasonably well but still not long enough to mean I don't run out of juice 2) memory cards, I have the largest memory option and I would like the opertunity to expand it with a card, cloud storage is OK but being able to expand with a card is far better

Awful phone. It has a ridiculous camera lag to the point your photos will blur if you do not have perfectly steady hands for at least 2 seconds, when most phones have an instant capture. The camera quality is abysmal to say this phone is marketed for the camera, it is extremely disappointing. Not to mention the battery life - the phone battery dies very quickly and you have 1-2 minutes for the last 5%, which in many situations, is the most important battery percentage. This phone leaves a lot to be desired and it was definitely released before it was anywhere near ready. Praying for a fix to this shocking camera lag, if you even move your phone too quickly whilst taking a video, the video comes out blurred and jerky.

The devise was faulty, reception was intermittent or very poor. Missed phone call, garbled phone calls, navigation not working, in short it has been a complete nightmare and because the fault was intermittent very difficult to prove whether the fault was with the phone or the network service provider. Had to order a second sim simply to prove that the fault was with the phone. If you cant make and receive calls or receive data what good are al the fancy features. What a let down, mobiles need to be the basics well and robustly, otherwise they are simply useless.

It's got a good camera, but that's about it. Without the camera, this is just a mediocre phone with a super high price tag and terrible battery life. It doesn't even come with a charger and yet Samsung strongly recommend you only use their official charger, to avoid damage caused by 3rd party chargers and leads. You also can't use the phone whilst it's on charge because for some reason, the touchscreen goes crazy and thinks you're pressing all the keys that your finger is nowhere near. The in-screen fingerprint reader is stupid. It means you can't put a tough screen protector on your highly expensive phone because if you do, the reader won't work. I wish more phones had the fingerprint reader on the back, not the front.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! At least not yet. I've been using Samsung consistently for the past 3 years and I can easily say this is the worst I've ever used. Ever since the first time I turned it on, it's been one bug or the other. From not being able to restore my WhatsApp chats to not being able to use any of my map apps due to GPS issues to touch sensitivity issues and so on. To make things worse, I updated my phone and it seemed to fix some of the bugs only to replace it with a more annoying bug where my phone keys just press themselves. Honestly it has been a nightmare owning this phone and so many other Samsung users have experienced the same. I don't know where Samsung went wrong with this but they need to fix it soon

I just love the phone so much like you can do so much on there that you cannot do on iPhones as I have came from an iPhone. I tell you what I won't he swaplijg back to iphones as I've had them for over 12 years with the same old crap problems after problems then the software updates which causes more problems. I love for the fact that you get a stylus with the Samsung galaxy s22 ultra which you can do alot with aswell. I live the colour of my phone as I got the green one but I also liked the kind of purple one so it was a hard decision but I went for the green.

I upgraded from an S21 ultra. The upgrade itself was pretty pointless. The generational performance boost was minimal. I suppose the SPen is a nice touch and at first I thought it was a gimmick but I use it all the time in games. Performance wise the phone lasts almost a full day while playing games. Personally if I wasn't on contract I would buy the s21 ultra and save some money on this generation of phone. I only upgraded due to the really good trade in value to upgrade with my current contract. Which meant I actually saved money monthly by upgrading.

So, I have had a galaxy phone since the first one came out. This is the worst one signal wise. It's at a point where I wish I had got the competition. And I'm not a fruit fan. I have a competition 12. It has full signal almost everywhere. The s 22 is always 2-3 bars behind it on the same network... I have tried everything. Yes, the camera and video are great .. but what's the point if I can't make a call with the stupid thing.... Reset everything.. shame, I can't reset it to a different model. Read the list of other people suffering the same issues..

This is only my second Samsung phone, I got S22U as an replacement for not very impressive S21U. New phone is lovely, it looks great, screen is fantastic, camera system is absolutely brilliant, highly versatile and of high quality. Once your phone gets to know you, battery life is impressive with day and a half of moderate use. Performance is a mixed bag, now and then phone is somehow sluggish, like it's on a break or just waking up, but overall performance is good. Sound from loudspeakers is superb so is the build in microphone for hands free phonecalls.

I've had the phone for about four months now and to be honest, I don't really like it that much. It's a big slab with no aesthetic feel to it. The fingerprint scanner is unreliable with a Samsung recommended screen protector. On the plus side, the camera is excellent. If you could somehow fit the camera hardware into the flip or fold models, that would be better. Samsung also appear to have gotten their act together with software updates. That was very welcome. Overall, this would have been a much better phone if the in hand feel was better.

Had it for 9months now. Battery holds charge really well, especially as I've taken recommendation to set max charge to 85% Camera has always been fantastic on the Galaxy, but the quality is such that I have not used my Canon camera or its 300mm lense for taking cricket photos for over a year. The only vulnerable part is how the camera lenses are proud of the phone, and the lense covers I bought were useless, but I always buy a Spiegen Tough Armour case for my phone which gives good protection. Why anyone bothers with Apple I have no idea at all!

I love this phone. The cameras are extraordinary and the fact that if I want it to do something it will do it is finally something I've managed to find in a phone. I've had it for around a month now and I haven't stopped using it! The battery life is good for every day users, the screen quality is astounding and for people that like big phone but not massive phones, his us the one for you. In the beginning we thought it may be a struggle to fit in my pockets but it turned put that it actually fitted perfectly. Amazing phone. I really do recommend!

I love this phone. The call quality is spot on, good reception (I know that's down to network but some phones don't seem to pick up the signal as well as this one). The camera is AMAZING and the picture quality on the screen is spot on. The downsides of the S22 ultra is the battery isn't great. I charge the phone every evening, unplug it at 7:30am and by 7:30pm its dead. I'm on the camera a fair but through the day but compared to my previous phones, the battery life isn't nearly as good. The phone is also bulky and heavy. I run alot and with my old phone, I slipped it into the back pocked of my leggins but this one's won't fit at all and when I pit it on the side leg pocket, it's so heavy it pulls my pants down... not ideal haha.

Great camera, display, stylus features are excelent (EXCEPT FOR WHEN YOU LOOSE IT) fact that will inevitably happen. Would be nice to be able to locate it like you can do with galaxy tag or make it buzz or do a sound of some sort .. lost mine somewhere in the car 3 months ago and could never recover it. Battery life is pooor especially if you use the phone without power saving on. A lot better than any iphone out there! Would be nice to have MICRO SD card slot and a power charger included as well but hey . Its all about the money sadly...

We're glad to see there are so many things you love about it from the cameras to the S Pen. We have decided to remove the SD card slot as Cloud storage is safer, more efficient, and you can store much more of your data on there. If you feel that your battery life isn't up to scratch, we'd recommend checking out which apps or features are causing it to drain the most. To check this, go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Usage since last full charge. Here you will see the list of apps and if any percentages are particularly high, it is worth checking if the app needs an update or you can even uninstall it and re-install. Regarding the S Pen, there is a feature called S Pen proximity alert, where your phone will alert you when the pen isn't with it or closy by. I've been a iphone user for around 9 years and recently decided to buy a sumsung and give it a try, after using the s22 ultra i can say that it is a good smartphone but i gave the phone 3 stars and that's because of the battery life, it definitely needs a better battery. I have to charge minimum 2x a day heavy use or not. If a smartphone has a bad battery it doesn't matter even if it's 1000megapixel, i think the battery is the most important part of a phone. Didn't have this issue with the Iphone and samsung needs to work on a better battery.

I moved over from iPhones several years ago and my experience with Android phones has been a bit hit and miss. Had a Huawei and loved it, then Google fell out with them. Had a OnePlus and hated it - it was an annoying, clunky thing. So I decided to try the latest (at the time) flagship from Samsung. I opted for the top of the range, as I was hoping it would last me a while. I love it! The camera is amazing, plenty of storage, the screen is sharp and overall it's a very fast phone. I think I'll be sticking with Samsung in the future!

I upgraged from a galaxy S8+ thinking this would be better. It's not. One of the basic requirements is that it is a PHONE! the reception is much worse, the audio is basic to say the least, volume inadaquate in noisy places and the phone has a habit of ending a call half-way thorough. As for internet connection, much, much worse than my old phone. Yes, it has some bells and whistles to play with - but it's a PHONE! I would also like to be able to control the phone myself. There are too many algorithms making assumptions with apps and how the phone should be set up. I do not want this. I want to be able to turn all this nonsence off and decide what I want myself. I do not want my storage taken up with "stuff" that I do not want and will not use.

Got the S22 Ultra soon after the uk launch. Upgraded from the Note 10 and found the Ultra a very similar phone. The biggest downfall of the phone was a discovered camera fault with in a very short time of ownership. This resulted in a long and frustrating fight with Samsung but eventually got a replacement. The feel and quality of the phone in general is very good and the camera results are stunning. My only criticism is that there is no headphone jack socket resulting in having to buy additional adaptors to use my trusted wired headphones.

Absolutely love everything about it.... Camera zoom , close ups and darkness shots are amazing. Screen display quality is great, sound it produces through the speakers is unbelievable. Battery life is so much better than my s20, used heavily all day today since 7am for calls, browsing and streaming videos. It's 8pm and still have 52% battery. The s pen blows my mind, love the air functions and how responsive it is on screen. Was torn between s22 ultra and the pixel 7 Pro but I've no doubt at all this was the right choice for me.

As the title says.. the camera and pen give this phone a high rating. Being able to take pictures of the moon is something I've been looking forward too all my life. The only issue is the software, not sure if it's since an update but the phone will restart at random points when you need it. Sometimes when you zoom in on the camera , it gives a black screen and shows nothing, the side key should be power by default. The stand cases you sell along side them are awful. One week my stand lasted before the leg fell off ... The battery is top tier, easily lasts me all day. Bixby still needs work before we'll adopt it into our lives. A lot of information gets collected from this phone which I don't like. Very non privacy focused. Other than that I'm happy.

Search function for apps doesn't include website added to home screen. The battery life is pretty bad compared to cheaper Chinese rivals. I easily got a day and half on my old phone with fairly heavy usage. Lucky to get 10 hours out of my 22 ultra. I probably would have chosen a different manufacture if I'd known. Again UI still lacks the obvious tweeks that should be available but you have to instal good lock to get what other android phones add automatically. On a plus the camera is very good and have no complaints there.

After upgrading to the S22 Ultra from the S20 Ultra a few months ago I genuinely wish i hadn't ! My old phone was great, always reliable and never missed a beat however the S22 ultra has been nothing but trouble for me, the screen constantly freezes, constant software updates that take up the memory, I get lots of camera lag (and yes the settings are correct), it drops network and Wifi signal constantly and can't be the network as my S20 did not and my wife and daughter on the same network are both fine and to top it off the sound quality is only comparible to a Nokia from 2001, Samsung have worsened the sound to gain elsewhere and should be embarrassed to class this as a flagship handset. I know I sound bitter and very harsh but I expected a major upgrade .

Great phone to own, slightly better than the S21 Ultra 5G that was my previous phone. Software updates are issued a few days after official Google updates. The latest version of Android 13 was sent just over a week after Googles debut of the Pixel 7Pro. Camera features are good and more are added on a regular basis, such as the Samsung version of magic eraser that is actually better than the version on the new pixel 7 pro on my friends phone after we did a side by side test. The phone features are plentiful and work well. A good all rounder especially for my travels around the world with the 3 sim capabilities meaning I can keep my home sim on the esim and have 2 other countries such as Malaysia and Saudi Arabia all together without constantly swapping them over.

Everything hardware wise is excellent. Great battery Great screen. Watching a movie on the small screen is delight. Sound is great. I probably do a disservice to the camera. I don't use it enough but when I do it's Great. Only issue is updates. First it was wifi 6 issues kept dropping or not connecting after an update. Then screen mirroring stopped working properly after the latest update. Get this right samsung and your nigh on perfect but keep screwing up the updates and it's no good having all this brilliant tech.

Overall the S22 ultra is a reasonable mobile phone, but the camera seems to be worse than my S21 ultra. I’ve tried different settings to improve the photographs but nothing seems to improve the overall quality. The rest of the phone does perform better than my S21, so that’s it’s main function and I can’t complain. I look forward to the S23 ultra being released to see if the camera has improved, but I won’t be purchasing. I’ve now spent over £2700 on my last two mobile phones, so I think it’s time to call it a day.

Although it's a big phone it has its advantages too, I had the Samsung S20 and due a upgrade, being really happy with that phone I upgraded to the S22 Ultra and have been really happy since I did, the sound is top quality, the camera is amazing, it's super fast at loading games and the graphics are crisp. I was able to compare specifications against the Google pixel pro and Samsung flip, and this phone. I would recommend my phone to everyone, even my girlfriend has chosen this phone after seeing what it can do

Phone it's self is okay owned all notes from 6 until now. Every year same problem... First 3months it's amazing After that battery sucks I charge mine full least twice in 18h window. How hard is it out a 9000 mah++ battery??? Make the phone THICK we done care! Do a poll right now 4500 mah battery (slim phone) Or 9000+ mah battery (thicker phone) And make the S23 and beast instead of a "meh upgrade camera and screen".... Pointless without the battery life.... Give us TRUE REAL WORLD 16h usage...... Google Maps, Facebook, Snapchat, News, Emails, Couple hours Gaming, couple Hours Working on Google docs..... This is real life stuff... Delay the S23 Reason - double battery life coming I bet you would sell 100 million pre orders if you made a 9000+ mha better.

Upgrading from an S10+ I was hoping for a substantial jump in every department however I have been let down. The battery life is shockingly bad even after almost 2 months of ownership, a problem I never had with the smaller S10. The phone becomes very slow at random intervals even with nothing running in the background. The glass is claimed to be stronger then ever however somehow I managed to get 3 deep scratches on the screen from God knows what as I always place my phone face up. The only things this phone has going for it is the display but that doesn't really matter as to even obtain remotely acceptable battery life I have to turn the resolution and refresh rate down. Seriously let down by the phone and disappointed with what I have received for the money I've paid.

Had my phone for about 6 mths and I do love my Samsung. However certain little things are coming to my attention. Certain apps are not responding. Nothing to do with the app itself but unable to login into my adidas app or my WhatsApp isn't working properly. Updated and made sure my phone is working fine but it keeps crashing. I thought it was the app at first but when I download and use my apps on my old Samsung phone it's fine. So I don't know what's going on with it. Ensure my software is upto date too.

I've had this phone for just under 3 months now and I can confidently say it's the best phone I've ever owned. The S pen functionality let's me take notes and personalise my calendar, truly a productivity oriented device. Its large screen makes the viewing experience very enjoyable especially with the adaptive refresh rate. Coming from the s20+ the camera is a world of difference. Being able to zoom with clarity lets me take high res pictures from a distance allowing me to see further from where I'm standing.

Always been a Samsung fan, I previously owned the flip and it really put me off Samsung because the battery was shocking then I saw the S22 Ultra being released so I pre ordered and it's probably the Best Samsung I have owned and I've had a lot of models it definitelybeats the Notes. The picture quality is fantastic and night mode is amazing I definitely love this mode. The battery life is by far better than any other can leave bluetooth on and it doesnt affect it much. Love the s pen easy to access and great to keep the kids entertained on pen up. Much prefer the fingerprint sensor being on the front of the phone too as on the flip it was on the side and was annoying. I'd definitely recommend the Ultra for design, performance and all its features and can't wait for the next one.

Overall, the phone is incredible! I love it! The only reason I knocked a star off is due to the lack of headphone port and the fact that it does not come with the plug for the new charging cable (isn't the usual/standard usb), which should be illegal as its a necessity for the phone to work. When you pay that kind of price, you'd expect everything you need to be included and I'm unfortunately, still using my old charger due to this so cannot benefit from the new faster charging. But, the phone is awesome.

Everything is absolutely amazing, I love this phone, best ozone I've ever owned and certainly doing way better job than any other brand right now :) only thing that I would love improving in the S22U is the battery life, for its large battery, a better battery is expected so this is quite disappointing, I hope to see better performance as well and heating issues solved too on the S23 series! I will support samsung and thinking of getting the S23U depending on how much improvement there will be. Thank you

The phone and screen are outstanding. However I only give 2 stars as the abterry offer is abysmal. At max I get 3.5 or 4 hours of screen on time and am nervous at end of day as it dies out. The battery on my 4 Yr old phone was better than this and I feel samsung has not done a proper quality checks here. Having researched online, forums of full of this complaint about s22 ultra so either Samsung needs to fix this or ppl should stay away. I'm going to try and return mine as its either faulty product.

Generally disappointed with the phone, in particular the battery life. Right now is a perfect example, going out to meet friends in London and its almost 4pm but have zero trust that this will last me until midnight without having to put on flight mode. So I'm always carrying an external battery pack with me. I find my phone also lags at times. Camera and screen resolution is brilliant. I've used all premium galaxy's since S8, I'd be very curious to see how the S23 ultra stacks up against the iPhone 14.

I was reluctant to jump to this phone, and took a couple of months before deciding to take the plunge. This phone is has not failed to surpass any expectations I had. Great functionality and speed. Superb display and ease of use. You cannot help but be blown away by the handset. Everything it does, is with no effort. I cannot recommend this phone highly enough. The only downside is the price, but that is offset by everything else the phone is and does. Tremendous and terrific handset *****

It's everything I needed in a phone and more. As a digital photoshop hobbyist and photo editor I couldn't be more happy with the power of the S22 Ultra. The S Pen is without a doubt the greatest stylus on any phone out there. Gaming is amazing, can spend a few hours a day on CODM without any overheating or glitches. I have had zero problems with any apps or software. Even as I beta UI5 customer, the phone was getting better and better with every update. To date, this is my all time favourite phone.

the phone works very well, takes great pictures, the battery calmly lasts for a whole day of quite intensive use ... the only, but a very serious drawback for me is the lack of a memory card slot and honestly when buying this phone I was sure that you fixed this error ( for which I decided not to buy the S21 Ultra) ... and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The screen, the S-Pen functionality and the camera on the most part are amazing. Unfortunately I have a couple of issues. Mainly the camera, as amazing as it is, if its not in good natural light, the detail and quality fall short. Photos are very good in both low light and night situations because of night mode but video in low light is very grainy and details are lost all over the place. My wife has an iPhone and you can't compare the video quality, the smoothness of the apple is unreal. I'm a Samsung enthusiast but I'm afraid low light video quality let's the s22 ultra down alot and also paired with the exynos and not SD chip makes a difference as well. Having the turn the resolution down to HD so it's video is clearer at low light makes no sense at all. I think I need to change to iphone :(

This is, without doubt, the worst phone I have ever had. I upgraded a few months ago and have had nothing but trouble since. The network keeps dropping, and the phone frequently freezes up. This means calls are interpreted or that the phone just stops working. On top of that, I also purchased a strap for my galaxy watch, and that has disintergrated within a few months. I really am very disappointed. Samsung should be so much better. As it is, I will be getting Apple products in future.

Bought the S22 Ultra having been trapped by Samsung after the failure to release a new Note Series device and I've been let down to say the least. The Design and S-Pen are as good as ever along with the screen. However, The battery life is terrible (Worse than my previous Note 10+), Performance can be hit and miss and it has a horrendous tendency to revert to 2G & 3G Networks over 4G & 5G. It's quite clear something has gone majorly wrong and Samsung simply ignore the obvious short-comings.

You must be joking!!!! I love nothing about this phone. I will be returning it tomorrow. There are far too many features that I would want o turn off. Do your really think people want to know how many notification they get a day - how long they sleep. etc - Its not set out in a logical manner - you just want to CONTROL people lives. My old Samsung S7, whilst not have some of the features I'd like- I'll do without them to have something more simple than this mind boggling controlling device

The phone has an excellent battery life coupled with the battery saver feature which charges to 85% for longevity, this still lasts over a day with frequent use. The phone performs well and doesn't lag at all nearly 7 months after purchase and the screen is vivid and bright. Phone delivers on all fronts including camera, just need to revise the camera software to be more user friendly but the fidelity and features are outstanding. Samsung Dex is underrated - must buy at current prices.

So far very much enjoying the camera and speed on the phone, I've not used the stylus to much yet as I've not found any function it performs to be that useful to me personally. My only issue with the phone is the call software, currently it drops calls at random intervals which is extremely frustrating but I'm sure will be fixed with an update soon. On the whole though it is a lovely upgrade from my trusty S8 and I'm sure as I use more of its functions will serve me very well indeed.

My last 3 phones were all in the note range last one being note 8, loved it!! Had it nearly 5 yrs of constant use and if screen hadn't grown to dim wud still have it.. but all things come to an end and S22 ultra it was to be.. as expected awesome phone, mainly I wanted for camera as take so many pictures the ease of use and the features are amazing especially night mode.. But noticed just of late that some features are slow to respond or load, Internet can b a little slow or using tiktok u get 'lost connection ' msg wen the phone is showing 5g!.. I do all required updates as and wen needed but mayb a check by Samsung is in order.. all that said having had phone from release date I can say 98% its near perfect just a cpl niggles starting, but that mayb due to fact it runs near 18hrs a day solid..

What's not to love about it... battery life, amazing... practicality, amazing... features, amazing... quality, amazing!! The list can go on! The built-in S Pen has got to be one of THE most handy tools to use for quick snapshots, magnifying, selecting, searching and more! If youre trying to snap and crop a pic for your mates, the S Pen is the quickest, easiest and best feature which cuts a lot of time, as well as editing pictures, drawing in detail and so much more! I look forward to finding out what other software they release for the S Pen and the S22 ultra in the future. I've been a Samsung Galaxy lover since the Tocco lite many moons ago, I've never changed and never would... I've bought the largest available memory size (512GB) but there can always be room for expansion, but sadly, not on this device. The device itself is nice with a "squarer" design than previous models (like the S10) and it certainly has a great feel to its case and screen with the latter being very responsive, even with a screen protector in place. The added benefit of the S-Pen is fantastic, much better than the one I have on my S7 tablet (BTW, the S-Pens don't appear to be interchangeable), with its precise positioning and easy flow for doing "live" signatures and carrying out other graphical tasks. All in all, the phone is a good all-round work horse with the ability to even create things like detailed spreadsheets, although it can be a little bit tiring on the eyes when you get a bit older!

Overall really good phone. Feels very smooth almost all of the time and it's packed with so many features I won't begin to list them. Despite a few slight bugs such as snapchat crashing/lagging semi regularly and other apps sometimes cause minor and major hiccups to the smoothness, but this is definitely not enough to not buy the S22 ultra. The camera and display are amazing and overall I love the design and feel of thr device. I recommend this phone to any android user out there.

The whole device in general is fantastic, from the storage space, the camera quality to the overall size of the device alongside the inclusion of the SPen, which makes general usage and utility a breeze. The screen quality and resolution is also fantastic, outputting a vibrant colour with any picture and video on the display. The device is also fairly robust; having dropped it on accident a few times with it sliding out of pockets when sat, there's not a scratch to be seen.

Generally pretty good. The photos are clear and punchy although the 100x is a bit gimmicky - I've tried it a lot (you really need a tripod) and the quality is ok. The phone rarely picks up 5G (I'm in a 5G area) and tends to slow down a lot, despite upkeep. Certain web pages freeze when accessing - none of these problems happened with my S20, so this feels like a bit of a step back. Overall, it's still a really good phone - l like it, but it's tinged with a little disappointment.

I don't know why I did this to myself again. They're so much money and so fragile. I hate curved Edge phone screens so why did I 'treat' myself to the 'best phone on the market'? Screen broke after sliding off the couch onto lino, despite having a protector and case. The battery is woeful. Everything else is great. But screen and battery have to come close to top indicators and as this phone fails on both, I'm not gonna get a Samsung next after a decade or so of loyalty.

Firstly I had to get over the shock of the fact that I can't add an external SD card and then I started enjoying my phone. I am a long time Samsung user so kinda knew what to expect but this phone has exceeded my expectations. The sound quality, photo and video quality are exceptional. So many new features and I am getting surprised daily. Phone is very responsive and I love the new design. It's my first time using a phone with a pen so still getting used to it.

The camera is amazing! Great detail, never miss a moment! This phone is equally good, except for the screen goes black as if I've turned the screen off even tho I haven't. Usually when using fb or browsers. It does it so frequently I give up and use my tablet. I have to turn it off and unlock it again which gets tedious. I really hope it's a software issue and can be resolved with an update rather than having to send it off for repair and been without a phone.

I went for the Ultra when my S9 finally lost the will to live and I really liked it but it's so smooth and shiny it doesn't stay where you put it, it just slides everywhere so within a few days it's got dinks and scratches on it. Get a plastic case you might say but why have something that looked this good and put it in a shonky plastic box? The absence of an LED to tell you when you have a call or a message is a pain because I have to be on mute at work so without picking it up I don't know if I've missed a call. I absolutely hate the Google assistant, it just pops up at random, but never when I want it The camera is excellent but why can't I change the file size? I have to open every single photo in a separate graphic app, resale it then transfer back to the phone To sum up, an S9 with the Ultra camera would be great

OK I know it's the S22 Ultra and not a note, but as a Note owner for so many years, the Ultra keeps on delivering features and functionality, which means I can be so productive using just my phone. The excellent built quality. Superb software. It is an amazing package that runs and runs all day long. As a keen photographer the camera system is brilliant allowing me to capture stunning pictures of the night sky as well as family friends and landscapes.

The S22 Ultra is simply in few words, not just the best Samsung flagship, but THE BEST ANDROID Flagship I've owned since thr S7 Edge. To some it feels and plays like a Note, however for me, it feels like its simply an S series with extra spice. Great all day battery life which we have started to expect from Flagship makers, but also, great cameras and AI which enhances the image, the only downside is that I would have preferred to have had a larger sensor for the front facing camera over increasing the pixel count to 40MP, but the selfie camera still performs great! The S-Pen is comfortable and become very natural to use very quickly, the camera cut out is very unnoticeable unless you're looking for it, and the experience through One UI 4.1 and even the latest update One UI 5 one of if not THE best Android Experience to date.
