Notwithstanding its superb build quality and powerful specs, the Ultra was just a little too big and unwieldy for me to carry around. However, the 8+ is a perfect balance of similar specs in a more manageable size unit. It has the same blazingly fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 processor but with just half the Ultra's 16Gb RAM. Not that that slows it down at all. My only criticism is that the optional slim keyboard case is not back-lit, which is a problem when working in dim lighting conditions. It was a criticism of earlier tablets but Samsung has chosen not to address the issue. An expensive piece of kit but worth every penny. You do actually get what you pay for!

Not overly impressed. Im no techno, but need larger than a phone. I love the pencil. But i have a motorhome an used to charge my ipad in the usb socket. Ive had samsung phone forr years, love it. But as this needs a high powered plug i cant take it with me. I wanted to send it back for something i could use, but seller AO would only give me half my money back. This is far too advanced for someone of my age (70yrsand lack of tech knowledge) ..if only you would makesomething large in size, easy to use, without so much techno. Im so struggling with not being able to charge my tablet from my motorhome, for me its a waste of alot of money. Charge doesnt last as long as i thought it would either

I like the screen size and how easy it is to attach the keyboard. Screen is nice and clear and responsive to touch. I like that you can put your own micro SD card in it, to add to its storage capacity. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of an issue with screen timeout. When I set this to 10 minutes, while I'm using the device it remains on 10 minutes, however when not using the device this automatically reverts back to a default of 1 minute. I find this so annoying.

Samsung Tab S8 + is great. I love Samsung in general so the Tab is bigger phone version. Unluckily I do have some problems with a pen, sometimes is not connecting with the Tab so I cannot work smoothly. And I have a big problem with the Samsung cover from the Tablet. I would not recommend. Is really uncomfortable and tablet is slipping all the time.

A very good compromise in term of size in a beautifully designed high end package. Magnificent display, excellent sound and brilliant technology. Truly useful S-Pen. Upgraded from my trusty S5e, and the performance boost is notable, to be expected given this is top of the current line... but really enhances the experience. Screen is noticeably bigger, and the S pen is a nice addition (though I do t use it that much as yet - still experimenting with drawing and handwriting).

Great sound, speed is excellent and the graphics and colours are so vibrant it's hard to find anything wrong with it. I purchased the additional keyboard which is magnetic and doubles up as a case which is great. Go and get one, they are far better than the other leading brand. I am now a convert.

Really love everything about this tablet. I had an IPad pro before this and this is sooo much better. It's important to use the genuine Samsung cover though. Cheaper covers offering the same sleep\wake features will cause problems.
