Hygiene Steam Function on Samsung Smart Washers

With the Hygiene Steam Cycle* on Samsung Smart Washers, you can attack germs and reduce up to 99.99% of common bacteria** and allergens***. The powerful Hygiene Steam Cycle improves the cleaning ability of a regular wash by releasing steam from the bottom of the drum, giving your clothes a deeper clean. 

The Hygiene Steam Cycle is used for clothing items that are made of cotton and linen fabric, which have been in direct contact with the skin, such as underwear. For optimum hygiene results select a temperature of 60 °C or above. Depending on the model of your smart washer, the max load can differ. Please refer to the user manual specific to your model to check the max load for your smart washer.

Step 1. Tap the  Power button to turn on the washing machine.

Step 2. Turn the Navigation dial to scroll through the cycles, and select Hygiene Steam. 

Step 3. Tap on the  thermometer icon to adjust the temperature settings.

Step 4. Use detergent or softener as normal. Tap and hold  Start/Pause to start operation.

*If you do not have a LED control panel, Hygiene Steam could either be a function for you to select on your mode selector dial or, a button for you to press.
