Using App Pair on a Samsung Phone

Use App Pair on your Galaxy phone to conveniently access your frequently used multitasking apps. Once you have set up App Pair within your Edge Panel you can easily view two apps at the same time. Perfect for when you're listening to music as you find your way or read reviews as you shop. You can pair up to 10 apps to speed up your Multi Window experience. Simply Follow the below guide for step by step instructions to setup and use App Pair on your Galaxy phone.

Android OS 12 (S)

1 Tap on the Recents button

2 Tap on the app icon you would like to use as an App Pair

Tap on the app icon to set as an App Pair

3 Select Open in Split Screen View

4 Select a secondary app from the list below

Choose a secondary app either from your Edge Screen or search for a specxific app in your apps tray

5 Tap on

6 Select to setup as an App Pair

7 To use your App Pair simply access your Edge Panel and tap on your App Pair icon

Android OS 11 (R)

1 Tap on the Recents button

2 Tap on the app icon you would like to use as an App Pair

3 Select Open in Split Screen View

4 Select a secondary app from your Edge Screen or tap on to search for a specific application in your Apps Tray

5 If you have chosen to search for a particular app simply tap on the app icon to view in Split Screen View

6 Tap on

7 Select to setup as an App Pair

8 To use your App Pair simply access your Edge Panel and tap on your App Pair icon

Android OS 10 (Q)

1 Swipe across the screen to access your Edge Panel than tap on to add an app

2 Select Create App pair

3 Select 2 apps. The first app will appear at the top and the second app will appear will appear at the bottom when opened in split screen view.

4 Once you are ready to save your App Pair tap on Done

5 To use your App Pair simply access your Edge Panel and tap on your App Pair icon
