An easy way to tell if your cookware is suitable for use with the induction range is to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom of the cookware. If it does stick to the cook ware, it is compatible with the range.
The convection fans are designed to turn off when the oven door is opened. The reason for this is: If the fans do not shut off when the door is opened, the fans will blow the heat out of the oven, and cause a large temperature fluctuation. This is normal, and is not a service issue.
