Getting rid of or minimising the curved screen edges has been long overdue and are not missed. Physically the S22 and S24 Ultra are identical in size, but there is a noticeable weight increase with the S24. Cameras appear to be an improvement, especially over the S23 Ultra which I felt was outmatched by the S22. More time with the phone and opportunity to utilise more functionality will be the big tell. As always though, the pricing on all smart phones only ever travels one way, and it's never in the favour of the customer.

I'm still learning a lot of the features, but I do like most of those I have used. However, I loved that an earlier Galaxy phone had a light that flashed to let me know I had missed a call/text - I learned to live with the repeat notification sound on my last Galaxy - On the s24 ultra, the repeat notification continues to blip after the notification is read and keeps going until the phone is restarted - NOT an improvement Samsung. Overall, I would recommend this phone so far, but there are definitely some improvements needed.

I have never had the latest phone, always getting the model or two down but deciding to get this was no mistake. The amount of customisation is insane, the AI technology is phenomenal, the battery life is fantastic. With average use I can go 3 days on one charge, 2 days with more frequent use. The camera quality is superb. I am not a technology person but I appreciate everything this phone offers and I would recommend watching some YouTube videos to make sure you get the most out of your phone because it keeps blowing my mind finding out what this phone can do! Love love love it!

My most favorite feature is the camera where I can still take good quality pictures even at 5-10 times zoom. I also have been loving how the phone does not lag when using high performing apps like gaming. My only wish Samsung can improve is the battery wherein they mentioned that the battery can last 2-3 days in moderate use, but mine only lasts about a day even if I have been using it for about 5 hours and mainly use it to browse the internet and take notes.

It's such a significant step forward from anything Google have released. It's the very definition of a premium smartphone. The titanium rails, the cool to the touch glass front and back, the sublime green colour. It's the complete package. The screen and cameras for me make it complete. The screen is gorgeous, bright, and vibrant. And the camera array has me covered for any circumstances that arise while providing vivid colours and detail. I am 100% team Samsung now for future smartphone android purchases.

The processing speeds are great never have to wait to load apps or features of the phone. The cameras are amazing starting at 0.6 up to 100x zoom on the main camera ensures you get those awesome shots you are after, the front camera also ensures the selfies or group selfies really catch those moments you are wanting to preserve. The pen and the apps and ease of use it provides is an awesome feature, making sure you can quickly jot down those notes, or, fill in the time, or even use to take that selfie shot to capture your moments.

Not being tech nerds, our experience has been a delight of discovery through real world experience as we travel through Korea. We are starting to experience the longer battery life, the faster cahrging, the improved camera and the impressive enhanced AI results of the camera especially in low light. The inclusion of the pen makes signing documents while travelling so convenient rather than printing signing and scanning in a strange town. The flat screen was easier to put the screen protector on than my past phone S20 ultra as that was curved at the sides. Would have loved to have been able to still use my micro SD card for my photos as It's expensive to by more storage. I bought this phone specifically for the best camera your phones have as I'm a photographer but I will have to go back to using my actual camera more because of the storage issues. Thank you samsung

I had heard good reviews of the S24 Ultra camera and they have all been true reviews. This thing is amazing for photos. One thing I did not realise before buying was the display. The anti glare and brightness of this phone is another must have. I cant imagine living without those two things now. I love the flat screen as well, it is heaps easier to hold and looks much better. There are two main downsides and that is no expandable storage and no 3.5mm headphone jack. Other than that it is fantastic.

Feature-wise it has everything you could want in phone, the stylus is a handy extra feature and the AI functionality functions well but you need to turn on a lot of features as they are disabled out of the box. The anti-glare screen works really well but the colour saturation is slightly reduced compared to previous models. Videos look really good on the screen and makes it a great device for Netflix, YouTube etc. With the current price reductions this phone is well worth purchasing.

Since the One UI update, my S24 Ultra has become a liability. My five-year-old A90 outperforms this "AI" flagship, which now suffers from extreme system lag. Basic apps like Messenger take minutes to load, and the GPS disconnects whenever the screen dims, making navigation dangerous. ​Samsung, take note: Under Section 259(3) of the Australian Consumer Law, I am rejecting this product due to a major failure. The device is unfit for purpose and unsafe. Since multiple updates have failed to fix these defects, I am exercising my legal right to a full refund. Pushing "AI success" while the core OS is broken is unacceptable.

The quality of the resolution, camera and loading speeds are fantastic 👌 it handles very well, the controls feel naturally smooth and not clunky at all. The battery will last all day with heavy use and still have some in the tank to keep going. The setting are very customisable from the alarm settings to do not disturb activating when you meet certain criteria you choose. The phone is on the bigger side, if you have big hands it's fantastic, if you have smaller hands it is still great because the s pen makes it a lot more manageable for those moments that require precision.

Purchased a little over a month ago; so far so good. Enjoying the new camera features & long lasting battery. The Smart Switch app was easy to set-up & I was able to transfer everything within a few hours from my old Samsung including all files from the micro sd card. Battery got a bit warm during the Smart Switch of files, but hasn't been an issue since then. The downside is no micro sd card slot in this phone & you have to buy the charging adaptor separately; I just use an old adapter that I already have. All in all it's a great phone to use, but take note that I was upgrading from an old S10+ that I've had for 5 years & haven't experienced the other models inbetween.

The phone feels top quality as it should, being the top level phone from Samsung. It's a large phone but still easy to hold with smaller hands. It has so many features I haven't even explored yet but I love how easy it was to switch phones using smart switch, and the incredible quality photos it takes. Circle to search is another really handy feature. The screen is crystal clear and vivid. I look forward to trying out the new AI features next. Overall I am very happy with this phone and would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new top of the line phone in 2024.

I got this phone purely for the cameras and for that part I'm 99% satisfied with them. The size, the weight and ESPECIALLY the sharp corners, I struggle daily to use this phone. Recently due to the size, the phone fell out of my pocket and the sharp corner landed on my toe and completely busted it open. I'm not tall, the phone probably fell from less than a metre high and yet it did that much damage to my toe. I'm not sure why samsung keeps making this shaped phone even when a lot of people complain about it. Its uncomfortable to hold in one hand and as of recent, I've discovered it's a safety hazard too.

Moving to the new phone not a problem soooo easy. I'm spending a lot of time on ticktok an easy way to find the features quickly. I was suprised by the weight but got used to it after a day. I love the square features the curves on the note 9 did nothing for me. I love the pen. I am using it more than I did on the note 9. I'm old (60) so the pen can hover and enlarge text for those quick looks and I don't have to grab my glasses. I am only 5 days in and I love it.

My A71 was getting slow and was difficult to charge due to issues with the charging port, otherwise it was a great phone. I need to set up dark mode due to a visual impairment and the weather widget on the A71 would scroll to dark mode so I could read te information. The S24 Ultra doesn't do this. a small tihng, maybe, but for a flagship device I would expect EVRYTHING to be adjustable. As for the pen, meh. Doesn't really provide any usefulnes that makes the experience bettre. This might be a great phone for the tech heads butI regret buying it. Waste of money.

Im loving the square feature look of the screen as it makes viewing and the practicality of the phone much more usable along with the bright and colourful display. It takes absolutely fantastic photos, even in low light. It runs smoothly and handles multitasking easily. The battery life is strong, lasting all day. Overall, it’s a very high-quality phone. It's a bonus having the S Pen. It's so easy to draw and edit things with no hassle and easily hides away inside the phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone a week ago and have been nothing but happy with it, my battery lasts for ages it processes quickly and smoothly and the visuals are alot better especially the camera the only downsides that I've found so far is the charger not coming with a wall connection and being a non usb connection I couldn't use the wall connections I already have thankfully I have my charger from my last phone that fits perfectly for this one the other thing is more a personal downside which is with the pen I am terrible for misplacing things so would be amazing if in future they design the pen to be able to make a sound when lost so you can locate it easier if you have popped it down doesn't.

Quite disappointing. I realised out of the box that the display is a lot less vibrant than my previous phone, but I hoped that it was just a settings problem. But as of to date I haven't found a solution. The smart switch app was a help in switching over from my old phone, but it still took me 3 weeks to set up all my apps. By the time I was finally done with all that work, I unfortunately discovered that the reading voice of my TTS application causes loudspeaker feedback in handsfree mode. Also the advertised battery live is exaggerated. Given the exorbitant price tag, this is truly disappointing.

Performance is great too, fast and smooth with no complaints there. That said, there are some downsides. Samsung is locking down the software more, and a lot of features just don’t work well with a desktop PC anymore, which is annoying. For something called "Ultra," it’s still missing a microSD card slot and an IR blaster, which feels like a step back. I don’t care about the AI stuff, so that’s whatever. At least it’s a fast, well-built phone, and I’m happy with that. If you can live with the missing features and Samsung’s ecosystem shift, it’s a solid pick.

This is the first phone I pre-ordered, admittedly I came into this feeling a little bit nervous as it was a bit expensive, but after receiving my S24 Ultra I can say that my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Coming from the Galaxy S20 FE to the powerhouse that is the S24 Ultra I can say has been the best purchase I've made in a long time. With the power of its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with 12gb of ram, there's no stopping this beast of a phone. The cameras are also very strong, paired with Samsung AI its a seamless experience. The prolonged software support is also a very nice touch. To put it short, the price tag may scare you, but I can assure you, it's worth every single cent.

I am although missing the idea of been able to customise the processing speed for gaming. S24 ultra have very limited options for that specifically. Otherwise very nice and smooth transition from an old version to the newer version (flashy btw). Love the idea of having a stylist aswell and all its little features (great idea 👍) brilliant feature to bring. I can't say much more about this particular slim design handset atm, other then it a amazing little machine but I will be leaving future reviews when I get my galaxy watch 6 (bonus 🎁).

I bought this phone to replace my A13, and I'm very happy overall. The specs are great, it works fine, and is a big upgrade from my previous phones in the A series. I have one big problem with it, which is the pointy and angular edges. Initially, I just thought it was a poor design choice that dug into my palm and hurt sometimes. I was willing to overlook that. But today I dropped the corner of the phone on my toe and broke my toenail. I have a giant bruise that is bleeding, and I wouldn't have thought an angular phone corner would do such damage to me, but here we are. I really don't understand the insistance of the sharp corners. It's literally almost a hazard if you drop it at the wrong angle.

Photos are clear and colourful and tapping on an object will select the image from the photo. I got the pale yellow colour phone and looks lovely. Very happy with this phone and new technology.

TBH it really isn't a stand-out. It's no faster than what I had (Oppo Find 3x). I was expecting the features to have advanced in the last few years but I think the phone specs have plateaued. A lot of money spent on a phone that does no more than a phone less than half price. Camera is good, battery OK, easy to switch data. Does not come with any accessories, which is annoying. No charger, screen protector or complimentary ear phones. Let's see how long this Samsung lasts. Last time I had a Samsung it was a Note 9...after 2.5 years I got the green screen and it died.

I previously had the S22 Ultra - and was always very happy with it, but felt it was time for an upgrade. I'm really happy I did. There are (marked) improvements all around in this device. It's super snappy, the screen brightness is great, battery life is significantly better, the speakers/sound are vastly improved. I have played around with some of the AI features - and am looking forward to embracing more of them as I use the device more. There's just so much it can do - it's hard to keep across it all. I started with a Galaxy Note 1 and had long kept my Note 9 (arguably the best design of the Note series) before going thru Note 10 plus 5G and S21. The camera is superb on the new S24 ultra. Got the 1 TB storage and very impressed with its speed. The flat screen is a welcome from having a curved screen. The titanium case feels so good to look at in any of its fancy colours but a vegan genuine samsung cover makes the Phone lie flat for Note taking. Will likely keep this like my Note 9 that it replaced.

Definitely feels like it works faster, the colour is great. The screen is really amazing, I love the quality of it. Also with my like 40hrs of usage a week I'd say the battery is amazing, I feel like I've gone longer without having to charge my phone compared to me s22 which was already amazing. Overall, highly recommend if you want a big phone plus love the pen. I'll always love having a pen in my phone.

Setting up from scratch is easy however migrating from a previous samsung phone using the smart switch app is not as straight forward. All apps require updates and need to be relogged in which is time consuming. Authentication apps require resiging in even when backed up and synchronised. This is not an issue with the samsung app but the migration process is not that smooth and extremely time consuming. All data migrated with no issue. Overall once set up the phone is awesome.

I was a bit skeptical about spending so much on a phone, but having used the features now im absolutely convinced that Samsung has a LOT to offer. Their One UI has come a long way from the TouchWiz of the past. Very glad to be back to the Samsung ecosystem after a gap of 5yrs. Don't think ill leave this ecosystem in the future.

The battery life last soooo much longer than my last phone.. and even having the screen brightness turned way down it still has excellent clarity. But my goodness the sound from this thing!!!.. it's like a symphony.. the base has such depth even on low setting... Music never sounded so good. I'm not even going to take it anywhere untill I get a case protector as I have a habit of scratching the screen of my old phone... But this thing is made to last... And that's to say nothing of how good the optimisation features are on this. It has intelligence algorithms that learn how you use it. I'm totally in love!

The phone is blistering fast, especially on the camera side and while transferring files. The screen is very bright when used outdoors, and the colours are very crisp. The phone is heavier due to its big screen size, So holding it with one hand can be painful, especially if you rest the phone on your pinky finger. Otherwise, it is a good buy, and I recommend it if someone is looking for a top end Android phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this a few weeks ago when my old phone failed me. I've so far been impressed with the phone. The screen is a great size and still fits in the pockets of my clothes. The photos taken by the camera are so clear, even zoomed in a fair bit. I love that the phone remembers what language I use in the different chats I have going. The S pen is pretty fun. The one annoying thing is that my google assistant stopped working after a couple of weeks and I can't get it to respond to voice after troubleshooting as instructed by the google team.

It's a great phone. It's not perfect. It's really big. It's heavy. It's expensive. But it also has a great screen. It has amazing cameras and supporting software. This is probably the decision maker for me - I really wanted a great camera, and this phone delivers, even though it doesn't have the 10x optical camera any more (just enhanced digital zoom). It has a great speaker and just as great microphone. I spoke with a colleague on a phone in a noisy restaurant and they couldn't hear anything but my voice. This is a great choice for me.

I didn't realize it came with a stylus until I bought it and it has pressure sensitivity and everything and the way I can use it as a little remote is very fun. I can also change the couloir of my apps without a hassle so everything looks aesthetic and cute now. I will 100% upgrade to the s25 ultra once it comes out with how great this phone js

Compared to my old Huawei, it has too much & too many things to wade thro for some of the simplest of tasks.eg deleting messages from bin. Help is nigh on useless unless you are a tech head & have been brought up using technical language. Seems Samsung ignores we 80 year olds who have not grown up with mobile phones but need them now businesses demand just about everything is online. Not happy Samsung doesn't understand or hasn't heard of the old saying "Keep it simple, stupid".

I was using the Samsung Galaxy S20 for the last 5 years (which was and is still great), but I thought it's time to update to a bigger screen and more storage. I find Samsung super user-friendly, the quality is awesome and the S25 Ultra has awesome camera settings as well as AI to enhance and improve photos which I love! The only downside compared to my old Samsung is that it's much heavier, but guess that comes with all the extras that make it better :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the S24 Ultra after moving away from the z Fold 4. The z Fold front screen is just too small. I have found tge performance of tge S24 Ultra to be the best Smart phone i have used. I also find a lot less keyboard mistakes with more screen real estate. The only downsides are the stylis does not eject far enough to make it easy to withdraw, especially when in a case (Even the Samsung smart case). I have also found the finger print sensor not being sensitive enough to use with certain screen protectors

I traded in my Fold 4 for the S24 Ultra, received it last Wednesday and will never look back! The pictures it takes are remarkable. I'm noticing things on everyday objects I've never noticed before. My pictures I took with the Fold 4 have been fixed up and made better quality using the new AI system. It was nice to try new things but the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is the best phone out!

But most importantly as per the title. The pen was something I was going eh about to begin with, but as I use the phone more I am able use the pen to quick search for anything that I see. But also just a fun tool. It is nice to just scroll mindlessly one second and then draw the next, write and then return to scrolling without having to cradle grasp my phone to do so.

Audio is clean and crisp. integration with the galaxy watch 7 is amazing, setup is easy as 1,2,3. I'm absolutely loving it! If I had to find a negative it would be that the choice to move away from the curved edge glass of the predecessor s23 ultra makes the phone seem slightly less appealing but still a great phone none the less, amazing!

The Cameras are magnificent, and it's as good as my Canon Cameras for holiday pictures. I am not sure how to use the pen, no app opens when I take it out, so I don't know what to use it with ? The AI feature is a mystery and again Samsung need to explain how to use it. I'm still exploring the features, but will learn how to fully utilise all of them with time. Mario

Extremely smooth, and the performance is amazing. Everything on the phone just feels so simple, and almost feels like I have an advantage of features from everyone else. An example is the use of AI tools, the feature of being able to remove things from photos, remaster image quality, remove reflections etc. So many more features to talk about, it's really amazing.

You launched the S4 ultra and we bought it and it came with 13 languages. In the past, we had the option of translating our emails into Turkish.The device is very nice and useful, but there are some minor glitches. I hope Turkish language support will come as soon as possible and we can use it for both live translation and written or e-mail messages. I hope these problems will be resolved quickly.Still, I recommend the device.

Since then i have been using it for my day to day usage and although many new phones kept releasing i never felt the urge to go for a new handset since it was doing its job year after year. However I guess the battery need a bit more improvement since it drop quite fast. My main use are playing game, messsenger call and surfing the internet but at the end of day the battery only around 20%. I remember my galaxy M23 at the time I bought it new, with all those tasks it would last more than a day without the need of charging. Anything else galaxy s24 ultra doing good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I preferred the Lilac of the s23 Ultra, but the deep purple of the s23 Ultra is still quite nice. I like the textured sides of the phone, it feels nice to hold. The processing speed is excellent, and the screen has great resolution. I do prefer the s pen of this over the s pen of the s23. It feels smoother to use, though I wish it matched the phone colour, instead of being grey. I haven't used the camera much yet but so far it seems to be really good. Very glad I upgraded.

Got a good deal and so far it has been great. Slowly working out all the new parts and how it works. The 100x zoom is fantastic as I use this at work to save me walking long distance to read signs on things. Glad to have got the 512 as there isn't any additional card slot to save to. The double SIM capability is good which saves me carrying two phones.

It's got the Samsung feel that we all love but feels updated and fresh as well, the square flat screen feels luxurious and the camera and editing is out of this world. The digital zoom is like nothing I've ever seen, so smooth and high quality. Upgrading from an s22 I thought I would struggle but the transition has been seamless, it's comfortable in the hand and surprisingly weighs about the same as the s22. 10/10 love my ultra.

I'm only at the cusp of figuring out the features. The stylus is a game changer. It's pin point accuracy allows to me to make intricate notes, detailed sketches and photo editing which I'm a big fan of. Also the circle to search feature is one of my faves. Price is up there in range but I believe you are getting value for money. Thanks Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only brought this 1 week ago so still many features like the pen that I have yet to discover what it can do but the phone it's self is extremely impressive with the huge screen which makes watching movies extremely enjoyable, i really like that the rounded edges are gone but the show stopper is the camera with its zoom power and crystal images Samsung has really stayed ahead of the game. I just need to find a case to make holding it more convenient as I have small hands.
