pros: 1) comes with a display port cable instead of a hdmi cable. 2) the height, tilt, & swivel adjustment is a great feature. 3) study base and easy to assemble. a ring is on the screw to tighten it so you do not need a screwdriver!! 4) informative and interactive menu to tell you the specs of the monitor and to make adjustments. cons: 1) at first glance, it looks like this monitor has speakers, but is does not. the two bottom corners gives it that assumption. 2) it come with a blue plastic ring that i feel that it serves no purpose. it does not conceal, or support ports nor does any cable management. to get a true measurement of the screen, measure from corner to corner.

i got this monitor recently to replace my other 24 inch samsung which i was giving away. overall it is fine, the design is sleek and lightweight. for a monitor advertised as 24 inches i would expect the whole thing to be 24 inches across at least, however from end to end this comes in at a disappointing 21 inches and i am now stuck with a monitor smaller than my previous samsung model despite supposedly being the same. the image quality is good in some places and bad in others, i've noticed videos and smaller images don't seem as crisp as i would have expected. overall it's an alright monitor but i'm left wondering if i should just buy a different one.

When I'm gaming, it's insanely fast refresh rate helps me gain a competitive advantage over my enemies. This allows me to both perform and see the beautiful graphics of the game. For when I'm not gaming and doing schoolwork, that refresh rate comes into play whenever there's a document that needs immediate revision or an assignment that needs to be done. Overall in my experience with the monitor so far one word sums it up, excellent.

Yo francamente no entiendo como samsung puede vender un monitor tan malo, he usado por años un monitor de la misma marca y no me ha presentado ni un solo problema hasta el día de hoy. El g3 tiene un varios defectos gravisimos El monitor tiene problemas con el displayport, si lo usas seguido Si deseas apagarlo para ahorrar energía y luego volver a encenderlo tienes que rezar para que puede prender de nuevo, me da la impresion que algun componente del monitor se cruza haciendo que se quede en una fase de inicio la cual ni siquiera muestra el menú del monitor mismo (al parecer es un problema muy común en la serie oddysey que se ve agravado más cuando usas el displayport)

I didn't know what to expect and was completely blown away ,as where my new school buddies with the response times and the color reproduction while playing aaa titles such as cod online .it was more then I expected and it has been all we've needed for our dorm room from gaming to movie nights .don't be fooled by the size of this monitor it definitely packs the punch you expect and has gotten the same compliments whenever a friend took a look at what it could do. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only use it for viewing my CCTV camera feed, the 1920 res, 2k picture is actually quite good. But there is no USB port to get any form of audio, obviously it does not hv speakers or the ability to Bluetooth a speaker, I hv tried everything even getting a VGA connection that had audio cables on each side of the vga to vga wire but both were male audio Jack's and even buying an adapter to at least plug headphones in did not provide any audio, besides who wants to use a vga cord anyway, the hdmi is needed to connect your source system n therefore u can not even buy a lil Bluetooth device that wud normally go into a USB anyway, there is absolutely no way to get any audio in relation to the one source u connect thru its hdmi port, again it has a power cord, a VGA PORT AND 1 HDMI, not even a lil headphone jack, wasted so much time n money on adapter trying everything to get audio its impossible, at least as far as me or anyone else I had try to figure a way, absolutely hated it, because of this, I will only say that the picture is very clear.

My husband bought this for me as an upgrade. I use it mainly for gaming and MS office. Sometimes I play educational videos for my kids to watch on this monitor. The monitor is excellent quality. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is - it doesn't have built in speakers. I would prefer if there was an option with speakers because I want to hear the content of videos I play for my kids. When using a headset, the sound is crisp and clear. and enjoyable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start off I don't use this monitor for gaming I use it to hold my discord or for my streams, I did attempt to play a few games with it such as call of duty and squad but the screen itself just doesn't hold up the blacks are way to dark and the colors for the monitor are not bright. Now for a budget monitor I'd say it's worth it if you need something real quick or for temporary use definitely just be advised this monitor does ghost a lot!

The frames per second refresh rate is so very fast especially essential if online playing like Call Of Duty. The colors are so vibrant it makes looking at any other monitor as a 1950s relic. Do yourself a favor and try out this monitor if you're big into gaming and want the best bang for you bottom dollar!!

not a bad monitor, but it will not save my custom picture settings. when choosing "custom", and adjusting the slider bars, the settings will change. but they will not hold. it doesn't take long forthem to go back to the default. for example, the contrast setting is at 75. i can adjust it down to 25 and it looks very good. however, once i close up the settings, in a little while it will go back to 75.

Picture quality is pretty good. Menu function software needs to be updated as it looks single dimension graphic as if it was does code in 1995.

Es mi primer monitor con especificaciones gamer. Tiempo de respuesta muy bueno para jugar en Xbox. Se puede personalizar de muchas maneras. Ajustar la altura a tu gusto me parece muy buena idea. Ojalá vendieran un protector o Mica para evitar que se llene de polvo.

I give this monitor 4.6 stars. When I first tried it out, I thought the picture quality was junk as I was using a four-year-old HDMI cable instead of the DisplayPort cable that came with the monitor in the box. Once I connected the monitor with the DisplayPort cable, the picture quality seemed to improve dramatically. The best aspects of this monitor are how phenomenally easy it is to assemble, its physical adjustability, and the customizability of the display. The on-screen display (OSD) is controlled with a joystick rather than buttons, which dramatically improves usability. The monitor has a FreeSync feature, which will only work with AMD graphics cards and not with Nvidia cards. As a relatively large, 27-inch monitor with comparatively low 1920 by 1080 resolution, there is substantial text pixelation on the screen, but this is to be expected with a monitor with these specs. There is some washout of the colors when the screen is viewed at an angle. Eyestrain is minimal with this monitor and the screen has an attractive matte anti-glare coating. Blacks are black and light colors pop. Colors are vivid and video is smooth. Although the image quality is good, I can conceive that monitors that cost more could have even better picture quality. Still, at this price point, this monitor is an excellent value.
