[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a pretty good monitor, has sharp visuals, great connectivity, great warranty and service from Samsung (especially since I bought it on their website). I'd have preferred that the monitor had a built-in speaker. Perhaps if I'd known before, I might've chosen something else. But the speakers weren't worth the return and refund hassle, so I stuck with this. (-1 star for this, although it's mostly my fault for not reading product description? but still). Otherwise I must admit, I am happy and satisfied with the picture quality and product quality and would definitely recommend to people who don't need built-in speakers.

Es increíble la experiencia de ver a traves de un monitor 4K. Yo diría que es un "masaje ocular". Lo estoy usando con una Macbook Pro, y no me puedo quejar de la velocidad de refresco de la pantalla. No me da la impresión que sea un monitor "gaming", yo tampoco lo compré para esa función, sino para cosas de oficina. En menos de 48 horas recibí el pedido, con total delicadeza y en la puerta de mi hogar. Gracias Samsung!!! En vano no es que se hayan ganado el puesto No.1 en ventas de monitores en USA, espero que pronto lo consigan en Colombia, y sigan produciendo productos de calidad premium y con precios accesibles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had planned to use this as a second external display for work from home connected to my MacBook Pro. The display is crystal clear with perfect colors, but would not stay connected to my Mac. It continuously blinks and keeps re-adjusting at any resolution that I have tried. The other Display is a non-Samsung and it seems to be doing much better. Was also sent to Samsung Care for in-warranty repair, but it came back still defective. I am totally unhappy with my purchase and would be very cautious on another Samsung purchase in future. I have also tried with 2 other MacBook's & one Windows PC - all with same results - this keeps going dark in-and-out.

extremely satisfied with my purchase! if you are someone who needs an extra monitor for your laptop or desktop, and you are looking for a uhd (4k) display then think no more and get this display. it has decent viewing angles, huge screen real-estate (due to high resolution), and very accurate color profiles. i am using this monitor for almost all kinds of work, reading, graphic editing, web browsing, multitasking, and even gaming. it's been more than 2 months now and it is working just great. i got this display at an extremely reasonable price during the black friday deal. so i like it even more :d

I've owned my 32" S7 for about a week. My first 4K screen in this size format. I bought it to use with my audio production rig, and hope it might show broader competence in the realm of video editing. Overall it's a pretty decent screen. Well packaged upon arrival. Build quality comparable to anything else in the price range. Fantastic definition and colour range. My only complaint - I wish I could summon the amount of brightness I am accustomed to in a monitor - it seems much darker than any screen I have owned before, and is taking some adjusting to. Time will tell.

the funny thing is i replaced a samsung monitor that had died on me with this one. i should have learned my lesson the first time. straight out of the box, this monitor's hdmi port is dead. no signal can be detected even after using three different cables and two different pcs. the symptoms range from a flickering screen, rainbow-colored snow, to no image at all. the reason i said 50% is because the displayport does appear to work...for now. however, the machine i intended to pair it with does not have a dp port and a dp to hdmi cable did not resolve the issue either. after a series of unfortunate experiences with various samsung products, i can honestly say this is the last purchase from them. the quality of their products has diminished significantly.

the screen is very sharp as expected. however, the screen controls located at the bottom of the case are tiny and very difficult to adjust. i am having problems with the tray, in getting the icons to be the right size. also my icons for programs are small and hard to see. i can't seem to adjust print size in several features. i like a large screen so i can be 3 or 4 feet away and see everything on the screen. why have a large monitor when you can't see things on it. so i'm happy with some features but not with others.

This monitor does both exceptionally well. Pros: Accurate DCI-P3 color 60Hz 10bit + 8bit with dithering Cons: Peak HDR brightness is 400 nit EDID misreports gamma options, requires HDR metadata overwrite to get true 10 bit mode on Windows 11 Overall I'd buy 5 more of these to complete my workspace. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the low peak brightness.

the monitor itself is nice looking and seems well built. the 4k resolution is great. the monitor also has a fairly thin profile, and is reasonable priced. what is not great: any off-angle viewing. when viewing from slightly above the contrast drops drastically, making everything look white washed. even horizontally off-centre viewing is not great. this replaces an old 27" samsung monitor. except for the resolution this is a noticeable step down from it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of these monitors. I think they are very good. I use them for work, software development, video editing, and photo editing. The monitors are high-quality and the colors on the monitor are vibrant. The resolution is great and I feel very happy with my monitors. One slightly negative thing that I initially noticed when I purchased my monitors, is that I could see the pixel refresh rate when the screen was dark. As an example, I use dark mode and could see the flickering of pixels across the screen. As of lately, that issue has resolved itself and I no longer see the pixels refreshing, but thought it was worth pointing out. Other than that slight and temporary issue, the monitors have worked well for me. I would highly recommend purchasing these monitors, especially for a home office or if your pixel quality matters to you.

Lamentable servicio. Uno de los puertos no funcionaba correctamente y su respuesta fue que cuando ellos lo probaron con otros equipos si funcionaba y no me dieron ninguna solución. Me hicieron ir tres veces a su servicio técnico sin solución, pedí que me devuelvan el dinero y no lo hicieron y ahora tengo un monitor con dos puertos de los cuales solo puedo usar uno. No lo recomiendo.

The monitor has good quality but it is not compatible with Mac computers. The connection was glitchy from the beginning and then one day it finally quit connecting at all. Support claims they cannot guarantee a connection unless it goes from HDMI to HDMI. News flash — Macs no longer have direct HDMI connections. They should stop advertising these monitors as compatible with Macs

Me llego con el stand atascado, no se puede inclinar. He tenido que gastar de mi dinero para llevarlo completo (con caja y todos los accesorios) a un centro de reparacion autorizado de Samsung donde no me aceptaban reparar solo el stand. I've had this monitor for 2 weeks and have found this to be excellent for WFH. Very sharp picture. Initially it didn't start straight away, I just unplugged and replugged the power cord and it worked. I haven't had to make any adjustments, as it seemed to be set for the right brightness etc. Overall an excellent purchase and value for money.

I have used this monitor two weeks it's brillient, USB C works well, nice contrast and two modes of eye care which is more convinent. No flickering. So far no isuues at all. Not many people knows also manufacturer doen't advertise that to get best 4k resolutions you will need USB C alt mode in PC or laptop, HDMI 2.0 and 4K compatible cable.

i have ordered this monitor 3 separate times and each one comes broken somehow...broken plastic corner, some sort of fiber tape coming out of the panel and the other one had a 1/2" row of deal pixels running down vertically. they offer no support, but i can return it and order another one! don't waste your time or your money.

This Monitor will turn itself off randomly. I tried all the methods I can find on the internet, youtube. Changing the auto off timer, check power cord, hdmi cable and the computer that connect to the montior and this monitor still turn itself off when I was in the middle of a Zoom meeting or working on a word document.

Samsung S70A Monitor. Good - but not great as expected. The OSD pop-up is extremely annoying. It occurs every time the system powers up, restarts, or comes out of sleep! According to my research on the web, this is a common complaint with Samsung monitors; and Samsung apparently has no interest in resolving it.

I have been very impressed with the color and clarity it produces for each of these tasks. The detail you get when playing the video games on ultra settings is amazing. When editing the photos I am able to clearly see the details that I need to edit and with the color accuracy I'm able to ensure that I have my white balance set correctly. I only wish I had come across this monitor sooner. The packaging: The monitor was packaged in a way that was easy to open and pull the monitor out of. Setup: The stand for the monitor was easy to assemble and even provided a channel for the cables to run through so that you can keep your desk clean. Use: Using this monitor for photo and video editing is solid. For its price point you can't beat the size, color, and clarity. If your in the market for a monitor that you can use to edit photos, videos, and you like to play video games, this one won't disappoint.

Watching 4k video is pretty nice with this monitor, HOWEVER it's quite dark comparing with my original 27 inch DELL 2k IPS monitor. Even with brightness at 100 and contract almost at 100; Turned off eco sensor mode helped but still not ideal.

Refuses to stop blinking the power LED in standby mode, so can't sleep (as they are in my bedroom). Putting a black tape over the LED doesn't work either, as so much light leaks from the front of the monitor (through the Samsung Logo) Given the extremely fiddly controls (I have never used worse), turning it off is a pain, and not something I ever had to do before. The support agent even said this was a good thing, as I would save power! Please, let me be concerned about what concerns me, not her concerns The firmware has settings for changing the behaviour of the power LED, but nothing makes it stop blinking when in standby. I never had this with any of my previous monitors I tried explaining to the support person, but they had little clue, kept on reading from their script Also, every time the resolution changes, it shows a very obtrusive/distracting menu No way to change this in the firmware. I just want it to change resolution without any extraneous decoration. This menu should be optional, not mandatory I really with I hadn't bought 2 of these
