It can withstand all my every day hazards that can be thrown its way. This includes everything from the dust and lint from my pocket to an unexpected water event such as rain. The exterior paint finish can even resist the scratches from being on my key ring. The storage space and transfer performance are everything you can expect from a 3.0 usb flash drive. It gives people like a piece of mind not to have to transfer every file through a cloud service. This is a great product that I hope Samsung continues to develop.

I can use it for so many different things like saving my work files, to personal pictures and videos. I always have it on the go for everything I need since I'm always doing new projects and work. I can keep everything organized and easily transfer files from one computer to another. I used to buy 6GB flash drives and I'd always get so frustrated because they never lasted long or I constantly had to override them and save files elsewhere. It was annoying trying to figure out what other 6GB flash drive had the files I needed. This flashdrive is a lifesaver.

This Drive in particular is solid in its weight, which is totally fine to me, cause at least I know it is made well and can take a beating. I have personally dropped my drive in water, and put it through the ringer multiple times, and it still has yet to fail me. I am tech-savvy, so I know that the advertised speeds will only run in the best scenarios with compatible devices or hardware. If you want a trustworthy drive, look no further. I use this for school and have another one I use to load operating systems on computers that are in constant use. All I can say is, in my experience, Samsung storage devices have yet to fail me.

Now it April and I have received nothing but praise over my choice in Samsung gifts. Wow dad I've got my college spring semesters notes and homework all on here can you buy me a couple more . Wife gee honey I could use a nother one for my craftsman one for recipes. Mothe in law, I have eliminated all of those boxes of tax returns sence chad( father in law sence passed) on it and now I can start on the ones I have left from there to my college jobs. A bunch of thermal extremes too. I'm so very impressed by this little drive. I had a SanDisk before this, and it was fine enough, but at some point after a year and a half (right after the warranty went out) it began intermittently working. So I got the Samsung, and haven't looked back. 10/10

I just bought this drive since the price/gb was quite attractive. Upon receipt, I transferred about 140 gb of data from my Lenovo L380 SSD to the new flash drive. Oh, boy, the write speeds are so inconsistent - started at 50-60 MB/sec and dropped down to 1MB/sec, after about an hour and half and the drive was getting hot. I think read/write speed slows down significantly when the drive gets hot. I am not happy.....

The metal body is sleek and seems well built. The form looks great and doesn't get in the way of other drives. One issue is the write and read speeds are very slow. I've run many tests and I'm getting 25 mbs. The same as my USB 2 devices. It's a good price for a large amount of memory. Just don't trust their reported speeds. "Up to 300MB/s Data Transfer Speed" doesn't mean anything about normal write speeds.

All my music files transferred in less than 10 minutes with only a few not making the cut. (Those that didn't transferred were files I was being lazy to delete on my previous drive.) It works with all club standard equipment and is just pure efficiency!!!! Definitely recommended for anyone in the DJ scene!

It's got a hole for a keyring, so it's easy to carry around and harder to lose. The ingenious curved design makes it comfortable to hold and manipulate with three fingers. This is so much better than the plastic junk drives I've carried before.

[Ezt az értékelést promóció részeként kaptuk.] Még 2024 novemberében vettem egy pár SanDisk 256Gb-os Ultra Fit pendrive-ot, de fél év használat után és legalább 50%-os telítettség elérése után elkezdtek rendkívüli módon melegedni és egy bizonyos hőmérsékletet elérve ledobálták magukat a gépről. Teljesen mindegy volt, hogy milyen USB portra voltak bedúgva, mert mindegyikben melegedtek és a végén már csak jégakuk között lehetett őket használni és adatot mozgatni bármilyen irányba is. Ez után kezdtem utánanézni valami alternatívának és találtam meg a Samsungnak ezt a típusát. Szintén egy 256Gb-os modelt választottam. Ez is melegszik, de talán a fém burkolat és a nagyobb méret miatt kicsit jobban viselheti a hőterhelést és mivel ugyan azt az adatállományt töltöttem erre is rá ami alatt megfeküdtek a SanDisk-ek, így az eddigi tapasztalatom az, hogy ez lényegesen megbízhatóbb azonos felhasználás mellett, mint sajnos a SanDisk modeljei (pedig azoknak a kialakítása sokkal jobban tetszik a méreteikkel együtt)

Died after 30-40 mins first use. I put about 80gb of files on the drive then it disconnected. I tried other ports and the TV. Nothing.it makes the connection noise but no drive shows up. If you leave it in, every few minutes it will connect and disconnect, but the drive still does not show up.

I was given a 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive BAR Plus (Black) as a gift recently. A colleague of mine borrowed it to do some file transfers. The files copied OK but when he plugged it in to the other computer it was not recognised. It does not work on any of my five computers. Very disappointed.

I have had my BAR 128GB Flash Drive for about a year now. Today, it went through a complete wash cycle and a partial dry cycle (not intentional of course). All files still accessible and drive is functioning normally. And yes, nice and clean : )

Copied files to drives 128gb and 256gb drives.. ejected them reinserted both wont initialize..... Installed same files from same usb port to sandisk 256gb drives no problem cant believe it. Guess thats why they were on sale on amazon. Beware....

I was transferring media and it was so inconsistent with transfer rates. When it completed many of the times were corrupted and missing. Never had this issue with any other drives. I returned the drive.
