DYING LIGHT 2 GAMING OFFER PROMOTION (“PROMOTION”)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). Any information or instructions published by the Promoter about the Promotion at https://www.samsung.com/uk/offer/free-game-dying-light-2-ssd-deal/ or https://www.samsung.com/ie/offer/free-game-dying-light-2-ssd-deal/ form part of the Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter

1. The Promoter is Samsung Electronics (UK) Limited, Samsung House, 2000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 0RS (the “Promoter” or "Samsung).

Promotion Period

2. The Promotion will commence at 00:01 (GMT) on 24th February 2022 for all Participating Retailers listed and defined below. The Promotion will continue for all Participating Retailers until 23:59 (BST) on 5th April 2022 (the “Promotion Period”).

Eligibility

3. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must be a United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or Republic of Ireland (“Territories”). resident aged 18 or over (“Participant” or “you”).

4. Employees, agents and any group company of the Promoter, and anyone professionally connected to this Promotion, are not eligible to enter.

5. The Promotion is only available to end users (e.g. not to any business or reseller).

6. Participants may submit a maximum of one (1) Claim per Promotion Product purchased, and a maximum of one (1) Claim per Participant and four (4) Claims per household, during the Promotion Period.

7. This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

8. Participants must have the following minimum PC specifications in order to play the Content (defined below):

9. Participants who purchase a new (i.e. not second hand, refurbished or ex-display) Samsung Solid State Drive included in table 1 below (each a “Promotion Product”) from a participating retailer included in table 2 or table 3 below (each a “Participating Retailer”) within the Promotion Period will be entitled to claim a code (“Reward Code”) which can be used to redeem one (1) licensed digital copy of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, PC Standard Edition 18+ (the “Content”).

10. Purchases from auction websites (e.g. eBay) or from third party sellers (e.g. Amazon Marketplace) are specifically excluded from this Promotion.

11. The Reward Code is non­‐transferable and there is no cash alternative. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter may substitute a reward of equal or greater value for the Reward Code.

How to claim (if using Direct Delivery claim method)

12. To claim, Participants must do the following (a “Direct Delivery Claim”):

a. During the Promotion Period, purchase a Promotion Product from a Direct Delivery Participating Retailer and provide any information required by the Direct Delivery Participating Retailer at the point of purchase;

b. Obtain the Reward Code from the Direct Delivery Participating Retailer, which will be provided by email to the email address provided by the Participant; and

c. Between 00:01 (GMT) on 24th February 2022 and 23:59 (BST) on 5th June 2022 (“Redemption Period”):

i. go to https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/2A12-9D79-C3D7-F870 and download the Steam application;

ii. Launch the Steam client software and log in to your Steam account;

iii. Click the games menu;

iv. Choose 'activate a product' on Steam;

v. Follow the online instructions to enter and claim your Reward Code.

How to claim (if using redemption claim method)

13. To claim, Participants must do the following (a “Redemption Claim”):

a. During the Promotion Period, purchase a Promotion Product from a Redemption Participating Retailer and provide any information required by the Redemption Participating Retailer at the point of purchase;

b. Upon taking delivery of the Promotion Product, Participants must visit https://20203.samsungpromotions.claims/gaming (the “Website”), complete the presented claim form within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase of the Promotion Product (with the date of purchase considered day zero (0) and meaning the final date to make a Redemption Claim (for a Promotion Product purchased on 5th April 2022 the last day of the Promotion Period) being 5th May 2022) and provide the requested information including (but not limited to) the serial number of the purchased Promotion Product in order to make an application for their Reward Code.

c. Participant will be sent an email confirmation of the Redemption Claim

d. Once the Redemption Claim has been validated, the Participant will receive an email with the Reward Code.

e. Between 00:01 (GMT) on 24th February 2022 and 23:59 (BST) on 5th June 2022 (“Redemption Period”):

i. go to https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/2A12-9D79-C3D7-F870 and download the Steam application;

ii. Launch the Steam client software and log in to your Steam account;

ix. Click the games menu;

iv. Choose 'activate a product' on Steam;

v. Follow the online instructions to enter and claim your Reward Code.

f. Participants will be sent an email to confirm their Redemption Claim has been received by the Promoter instantly upon completed entry of a Redemption Claim. Please note that processing of Redemption Claims received may take up to fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the Redemption Claim and Participants will be sent an email to confirm whether their Redemption Claim has been successful and validated (“Claim Validation”).

g. If an email acknowledgement has not been received, it is the Participant’s responsibility to contact the Promoter’s customer service team by email at gaming@samsungpromotions.claims or by phone at 0330 054 2853 (UK) and 01960 5026 (ROI) within seven (7) days of a Redemption Claim being submitted.

h. If a Redemption Claim is deemed to have been submitted incorrectly, the Participant will be notified via email and SMS and offered the opportunity to provide the required information within seven (7) days. If no response is received within seven (7) days of the email and SMS, then the Redemption Claim shall be marked as invalid and the Participant will no longer be eligible to receive the Reward Code.

14. If you experience a technical issue with your Reward Code or you need any information concerning the Content please contact Genba Digital Support by email via OEM@genbadigital.com.

15. Within these terms and conditions, the term Claim shall be taken to mean both Direct Delivery Claim and Redemption Claim, unless specifically stated otherwise.

16. Claims that are incomplete or damaged will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of Claims.

17. The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify Claims which it considers do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

18. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid Claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to proof of pre-order and purchase, as well as the identity, age and other relevant details of a Participant. This process may involve the Promoter sharing information with third parties. In the event you have been flagged for fraud or abuse on any previous promotions you won't be able to enter this Promotion and your Claim will be rejected.

19. Purchase of a Promotion Product after the expiry of the Promotion Period will not be eligible for this Promotion. Any Reward Code activated after the expiry of the Redemption Period will not be accepted.

20. If you return your Promotion Product, you must return the Reward Code to the relevant Participating Retailer at the same time and your Reward Code will no longer be valid. If you have already submitted a Claim, your Claim will be invalid and the Content shall be removed from your Steam account. The Promoter reserves the right to check with any Participating Retailer whether a Promotion Product has been returned and, by submitting a Claim, you provide consent for the Promoter to do so.

General

21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to the Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.

22. The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion.

23. The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive Claims due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions of Claims or Reward Codes; (c) any computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion; or (f) any use of the Reward Code by persons under the age of 18.

24. Participants will be solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes and any other relevant costs, expenses which are not stated in the Terms and Conditions as being included.

25. By participating in this Promotion, you agree, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, to release and hold the Promoter harmless from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in or in connection with the Promotion, including without limitation, awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of the Reward Code. The above limitation of liability shall not apply to liability arising from fraud (including fraudulent misrepresentation), death or personal injury caused as a result of Promoter’s negligence.

26. The Promotion is governed by English law.
