Galaxy Note9: How to use Fast wireless charging feature?

The device has a built-in wireless charging features. You can charge the battery using a wireless charger (sold separately).

 

You can charge your device faster using the fast wireless charging feature. To use this feature, you must use a charger and components that support the fast wireless charging feature. If the fast wireless charging feature is not activated, here are the steps to activate:

 

Navigate to Apps screen > Tap Settings > Tap Device maintenance > Tap Battery > Select More option > Select Advanced settings > Activate Fast wireless charging option

 

Note:

 

• The on/off option will be added in your device’s settings menu when you first place it on the charger.

 

• A fan inside the charger may produce noise during fast wireless charging.

Precautions for charging Note9 safely

 

1 When using the wireless charger, do not place foreign materials, such as metal objects, magnets, and magnetic stripe cards, between the device and the wireless charger. It may cause overheating due to corrosion or temporary short-circuit of power terminal.
2 Do not place cards such as RFID card, credit card, Door lock card between device and back cover. The device may not charge properly or may overheat and may cause damage the device.
3 If you charge the device while the multipurpose jack is wet, the device may be damaged. Thoroughly dry the multipurpose jack before charging the device.
4 Use only Samsung-approved products (eg. wireless charger, USB cables, car chargers, Micro USB Connector, USB power adaptor). Charge-related products affect a direct impact on the safety of the user, so be careful when selecting the product. Using Non Samsung-approved products may cause damage to the product.
5 If the lower part of the device overheats, it could be because the connected USB cable is damaged. Replace the damaged USB cable with a new Samsung-approved one.
