Stopped working having been used only 2-3 times over a few years. Appalling product. Projector is great, but this battery failing so miserably has really dented my confidence in Samsung, particularly noting the other, similar reviews and the lack of support provided to the many people who have been let down by Samsung here. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. Not recalled when it should have been. Samsung are hiding from the issue and hoping time will wash over the issue. It doesn't work like that, actually. Step up, or lose your customer base. Allowing reputation to fray at the edges leads to trust in a corporate entity unravelling.

Olá. Vi que não sou o único com o problema da bateria do The Freestyle que não mais carrega. Comprei esta bateria no dia 07 de dezembro de 2022. E agora em junho de 2023 ela simplesmente não carrega mais. No dia 22 de junho de 2023 a carreguei normalmente ate a carga completa. E na hora de usá-la hoje, no dia 23, para a minha surpresa, estava descarregada. Estranhei, mas a coloquei para carregar. E para o meu espanto, agora ela nem carrega mais. SAMSUNG... Por favor, nos ajude a solucionar este problema. Produto extremamente caro, mas como disse o colega, ainda prefiro o ecossistema dos senhores. Somos clientes fiéis e merecemos uma solução. Possuo celulares (zfold 3, z flip 3, e z flip4) relógios, fones, pulseiras fit, smart tags e até mesmo uma lava e seca roupas incrível (controlada remotamente) que dei a minha mãe de presente. Produtos que uso e que também dou de presente. Enfim.... Gosto muito da marca. Basta acessar pelo meu nome e vocês saberão. Aguardo a orientação dos senhores.

Make sure you’re connecting the top USB-C port on the Battery Base directly to The Freestyle’s USB-C port. Your device may be damaged if the battery is not properly connected. • The top USB port is designed to connect to The Freestyle & fast-charge external devices. • The bottom USB port will charge the Battery Base & external devices. 2. Also, ensure the USB-C cable you're using is either the included cable or a Samsung-brand charging cord. 3. Check the battery level by pressing the button below the USB ports. • If one LED indicator blinks, charge the Battery Base. 4. I used the battery base, maybe once or twice, it's a year old device. I left it to charge overnight, with the bottom light flashing white, I take the projector and the battery today to use, only to find that it wont turn on or show any sign of life. Reading other reviews, it seems that this pack stops working after a year, it's like it's had some code programmed in to stop working after a certain time!??? Very disappointed that Samsung is not taking note of this issue by the looks of public reviews.

I bought the Freestyle Projector, and during the time I bought it, Samsung were running a gift redemption offer where they would give a free Freestyle Battery Base. Anyway 3 months later the battery completely dies, and the warranty experience has been horrendous. Samsung say that its cover under warranty, but their support centers are repairing of replacing it, because I didn't actual buy the thing and can't prove that I purchased it. It has been an horrendous and the battery remains unfixed.

Utilicé la batería un par de ocasiones y luego dejó de funcionar, no carga se queda parpadeando pero nunca pasa del primer led, he visto otras reseñas que les ha pasado lo mismo, es decir que no es un problema aislado, increíble que no tengan estándar de calidad en la producción de sus accesorios, tan caros y no sirven. La garantía una pesadilla, mas de 2 meses y no la reparan, cambian o me hacen devolución, en fin todo pésimo.

j'ai le freestyle 2 avec la batterie et le case circulaire. Je pense qu'il faille utiliser la batterie régulièrement pour avoir une bonne durée de vie. Pour ma part, je l'utilise avec mon vidéoprojecteur, en recharge de smartphones ou pour alimenter un écran externe via DEX. La longévité ne semble pas bouger. Cela fait une bonne réserve pour recharger ces appareils, montres, écouteurs en nomade. Pour ma part, très pratique

Like many others, my battery no longer holds a charge as well. I used it for maybe 15-20 hours in the 11 months I had it before it stopped charging. It was great while it worked. Now people are saying its not even covered under warranty? That's a huge disappointment on Samsung's part. They let us down with this one. I bought this just over a year ago, used 4 or 5 times and worked really well. Like most other people who have bought it, the battery eventually stops working and won’t charge after minimal use and Samsung aren’t interested. It has taken me a long time to buy anything Samsung after the last warranty issue I had with them and I think I have learned my lesson with them this time.

Absolutely shocked at Samsung's attitude towards customer satisfaction and even more appauled at Samsung's batteries life expectancy! El producto me vino como voucher al comprar el Freestyle. Lo usé una vez cuando lo recibí para verificar que funcionaba bien, y un año después, cuando lo quise volver a cargar ya no cargaba, tan solo parpadeaba el primer led. Lamentablemente ya estaba fuera de garantía. No lo recomiendo para nada

My battery has failed after only a few charges. I used the charging adapter supplied with the projector and the supplied cables. There are lots of other examples where these batteries have failed and SAMSUNG still sell this defective product.

Make sure you’re connecting the top USB-C port on the Battery Base directly to The Freestyle’s USB-C port. Your device may be damaged if the battery is not properly connected. • The top USB port is designed to connect to The Freestyle & fast-charge external devices. • The bottom USB port will charge the Battery Base & external devices. 2. When the battery is working, it's great. I don't want to fault the battery. It's a shame it only runs the projector for around two to three hours, that means regular charging. There's also no warning when the battery is about to run out of power, it simply shuts down, as does the projector along with it. Like others, my battery came as part of a deal with the Freestyle projector. Unlike others, I paid for it as a separate purchase so I have proof of purchase, which makes things a bit easier when dealing with Samsung. The battery died after six months of use - that's why it only gets three stars. At least it didn't die one week after the warranty ran out, like some other manufacturers' products. The process of replacing the battery is terrible; my experience of Samsung Australia service has been pretty bad. The battery needs to be tested before it can be replaced. I live in Brisbane, and I've got a choice of two service centres to take the battery for testing, one is sixty kilometres from where I live, the other is 100 kilometres from where I live. But this is not the battery's fault, the battery is fine when it works.
