I do apologise Dave. This is not the experience we wish to create for any of our customers. At Samsung, we want all of our customers to have a great experience when using our products so I very much regret that you haven't been able to do so on this occasion. I used the battery base, maybe once or twice, it's a year old device. I left it to charge overnight, with the bottom light flashing white, I take the projector and the battery today to use, only to find that it wont turn on or show any sign of life. Reading other reviews, it seems that this pack stops working after a year, it's like it's had some code programmed in to stop working after a certain time!??? Very disappointed that Samsung is not taking note of this issue by the looks of public reviews.

Battery has failed after only using it a handful of times. Approx 10. I’ve had it a while but don’t use it as mostly plugged in. The battery now won’t charge at all and has died. Customer support says it’s out of warranty and I can buy a new one. No thanks. Looking at other reviews and forums looks like I’m not the only one.

Great projector, but the whole point was the ability for it to be portable based on their usage with the battery, which like everyone else, has died just outside of warranty. Multiple attempts to contact Samsung for a solution have been flat out ignored. Really poor darts from such a major tech company. Avoid the battery like the plague if you can, its not worth a single penny let alone the extortionate price they are still charging for it.

Absolutely shocked at Samsung's attitude towards customer satisfaction and even more appauled at Samsung's batteries life expectancy! I bought this just over a year ago, used 4 or 5 times and worked really well. Like most other people who have bought it, the battery eventually stops working and won’t charge after minimal use and Samsung aren’t interested. It has taken me a long time to buy anything Samsung after the last warranty issue I had with them and I think I have learned my lesson with them this time.

WRONG, after 6 months Samsung aren’t interested. In the last year I have purchased a flagship TV from you, a phone and a projector, almost 3k spent and this is your customer service. Shocking.

Stopped working having been used only 2-3 times over a few years. Appalling product. Projector is great, but this battery failing so miserably has really dented my confidence in Samsung, particularly noting the other, similar reviews and the lack of support provided to the many people who have been let down by Samsung here. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. Not recalled when it should have been. Samsung are hiding from the issue and hoping time will wash over the issue. It doesn't work like that, actually. Step up, or lose your customer base. Allowing reputation to fray at the edges leads to trust in a corporate entity unravelling.

I have had the product for less than 12 month and it has went faulty. Samsung are not willing to repair or replace the product for me claiming it has no warranty. The product book and website both state that it has a 12 month warranty. Poor product and even worse customer service

Used mine 4 times over say 9 months and it lights up like it's charging but it doesn't charge. And no it's not the charger Samsung.... My battery has failed after only a few charges. I used the charging adapter supplied with the projector and the supplied cables. There are lots of other examples where these batteries have failed and SAMSUNG still sell this defective product.

Watse of money. I didnt use my battery over winter for obvious reasons as too cold etc to use outside. Upon trying to recharge it in spring, it was dead and Samsung didn't want to help at all as it was couple of weeks out of the 1 year warranty. Do Not Buy, it isn't fit for purpose and Samsung are only interested in ripping you off, instead of providing good products and good customer support.
