You can use Pinch Control on Galaxy Buds4 using your index finger. First, wear the earbuds and try the following actions. Pinch once (Single pinch) to play or pause the track, answer or end a call and stop using features such as Read Notifications Aloud. Pinch twice (Double pinch) to play the next track. Pinch three times (Triple pinch) to play the previous track. Pinch and hold to turn on the preset feature or decline a call. Swipe up or down using your index finger to adjust the volume.

Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC) Ultra High Quality (UHQ) Audio Option allows you to listen to audio in full detail, with rich audio information. You can turn on SSC - UHQ option when Galaxy Buds4 Series is paired with an eligible Galaxy device. The audio is delivered in extended 24-bit bit depth and 96 kHz sampling rate. 18

SSC - UHQ supports up to 24-bit / 96 kHz and is available on Galaxy smartphones such as Galaxy S26 Series, S25 Series, S24 Series, S23 Series, Z Fold7, Z Flip7, Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. It's also available on Galaxy Tab S11 Series, Tab S10 Series and Tab S9 Series with One UI 6.1.1 or above. More devices may be supported in the future. 19

Galaxy Buds4 Series isolates your voice input through an advanced Deep Neural Network (DNN) technology. The conversation between the caller and receiver is delivered through Super Wideband (SWB) up to 16 kHz, making the call crystal clear. 20

To connect your Galaxy Buds4 to your Galaxy device, just open the Charging Case and the earbuds will automatically start pairing. A pop-up screen will appear on the Galaxy device. Tap Connect and the pairing is complete. 21

You can control Galaxy Buds4 based on the version of One UI on your Galaxy device. As always Samsung delivers, I have a pair of Buds 3 pro, which are great, I find the buds 4 a bit better at background noise cancelling but otherwise im not finding much difference, that being said, the buds 3 pro are being used as my back up pair

Sound quality really good but I cannot get them to stay in my ear. The fall out so easily, I don't even have to be moving. Ideally I'd like to wear them for running but it's impossible 😔 Have searched everywhere for genuine samsung accessories for them - tips, ear cuffs etc.. but there doesn't seem to be any fit the buds4 only the pro.

Samsung Galaxy Buds4 True Wireless Earbuds (Black) are honestly impressive. The sound quality is clear with deep bass, the design looks premium, and they’re very comfortable for daily use. The Active Noise Cancellation works well for music and calls, and the battery life is solid throughout the day. They connect quickly with Samsung phones and the touch controls are smooth and responsive. Only downside is the fit may not suit everyone during workouts, but overall they are excellent earbuds for everyday listening. Definitely worth it. 🔥

I'm so disappointed with the decision to make them an open fit. They don't stay in and are quite uncomfortable. Can't fault the sound quality, however if i move more than a few meters away from the device I'm listening to, the connection drops.

These are rubbish slowly falling out of ears sound is tinny and they are so quiet. Glad it was free coz if I spent £150+ they would be going back. I have a pair of ear buds off Amazon that cost £30 that are 100% better.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The sound is great compared to my old buds. I prefer the shape of my old buds as these fall out of my ears. Cannot wear them gardening or picking up after the dog! Have to be careful when out walking.

Your earbuds are designed for a comfortable and secure fit with excellent sound, and to achieve this, you will need to ensure the blade is angled slightly so that the microphone on the bottom is pointing towards your mouth. You can adjust the earbuds by rotating them forward and backwards until the fit feels right. These earbuds are probably the worst fitting earbuds I've ever experienced. Thankfully, I received mine as part of a promotion running when I purchased my new phone, so I haven't lost out. However, I would have been beyond gutted if I had paid RRP for these, so i feel duty bound to add to the reviews warning paying consumers about these. That sort of price (£159 at the time of writing) with no ability to adjust the fit is pretty scandalous, if I'm honest, and I think it's pretty telling that the only positive reviews i can see are incentivised. Like many others in these reviews, they simply fall out my ear rendering them unusable. It's a real shame because the clarity of sound (when I hold them in place) is very good. I've owned countless Samsung products across all different categories over the years and will continue to own more, but something as bad as this needs called out. I can't fathom how someone at Samsung signed off this hard plastic, unergonomic design with no silicone tips. Despite the hard work of Samsung's marketing team in the comments to convince people otherwise, my only advice to anyone considering these would be to either opt for the Buds4 Pro or look elsewhere.

Before I start, I should say that I probably have weird ears, I can't wear the buds that go right into your ears because they are painful from the get go, so I am always on the look out for other designs. Bought these because I thought they would be a good replacement for my aging galaxy buds live (the jelly bean ones, in my opinion the best Samsung ever did and stopping them their greatest mistake).... In respect of the case this is a step up from the galaxy bud live case. The buds 4 seat really well, The hinge feels really secure and the clear lid is an improvement over the live case. The look of the buds 4 however, what a disappointment over the beauty of the bud live which were so pretty like jewellery for your ears. For me, the bud live we're easy to place in my ears, I can wear them all day,. The controls were really easy to use and I can even sleep in them.... I was hoping for as good an experience with the buds4... Personally having a strip of metal poking out of my ears is really unattractive. The shape of the bud4 is also much less comfortable, wider perhaps and made my ears really ache after about an hour, though I may get used to them. I am not what you would call a discerning listener, and i havent spent any time messing around with the sound settings yet so I don't feel like I can comment on the sound quality in a particularly valuable way, but I did find the sound quality acceptable, and the ANC is more effective than the bud live. But the thing that may make me send them back if I can't get my head (hands) around it is the controls! I havent had the buds very long but i think the controls are awful, the indent that you have to "pinch" is just hard to get to, it took me over an hour of fiddling to get to the point where I could get the playback to start and stop. I still have not been able to increase or decrease the volume and I still can't figure out how to move the playback on or back. Samsung please bring back the buds live bean ear buds! I loved them! And if you have any left over buds live sitting in a warehouse that you will never sell, feel free to send them to me, i will give them a good home as my ears are never going to be the right shape for the ones you now sell!
