Bring your old phone to the store, and a staff member will check it to see if it's in good working condition. Only certain devices will be accepted, and their value will depend on their condition. The staff member will use an app to give you the final value.

You'll get a discount on your new Galaxy phone based on that value. You might also get additional discounts on top of the trade-in value, depending on which devices you're trading in and buying.

Even if your old phone doesn't qualify for the extra discounts, you can still trade it in. You'll get the appraised value of your device as a discount on your new phone, plus the Samsung Care+ offer.
