Buyer beware! This TV worked for just shy of 5 months before it completely shut down. In the middle of watching a show, the tv just turned off. What's even worse is that now it's flashing and we can't turn it off with the remote or manually. We tried resetting the circuit breaker and still can't turn it off. It's just been flashing for 5 days straight, and sInce the TV is mounted on the wall, we can't even unplug it until we can get the installer back out to the house to take it down. Total disappointment, especially since we typically like Samsung products. DO yourself a favor and buy a better quality TV if you're getting one this large.

We bought the Samsung 60" TV to replace a Samsung TV we had used for a dozen years that had started developing a picture screen bright spot. The new TV sound quality changes depending on the channel being watched or the program being watched. The video is too dark when watching old black & white shows and too bright on regular programs and movies. When turned on it spends the first thirty seconds announcing available programs which we find annoying. We just want to turn it in, select a channel and watch it. It seems that someone in charge at Samsung is so hung up on technology they have forgotten most people prefer to keep things simple.

First, the Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. I love my Samsung TV. I have been a Vizio fan for some time with no issues at all. I will admit that at age 68, I wanted a larger screen and my decision would probably be based on cost. I found a great deal on this one and snapped it right up. Picture and sound are really great. My only problem with it is Me - I’m not used to the newer technology and so I have been working on that. I really only use basics but I needed to work on pairing my AirPods and adjusting volume - both are now working great!! Bonus - my old 42 inch screen got moved to my bedroom and my older yet 32 inch screen was converted into a monitor for my computer!!

At first I was not happy with the picture quality which is due to the fact I was using a ROKU stick. Once removed it was better. However, I definitely do hot like the remote. The icon features are small and hard to read, especially for someone with vision problems such as myself. Another option you cannot access on the remote is the microphone/talk feature. The TV has it but the remote does not. So for my purposes I will have to buy a different remote. Overall, I guess the issue is the remote. Too small, icons too small and no microphone feature. One would think that the if the TV has the 'talk' feature that the remote should as well.

i purchased this TV along with 3 other Samsung TV's in the past two months after moving into a new house (this 75", a 43", a 65" and an 85"). Overall picture quality is great, much better than some other brands I own. I would rate this TV higher but the for the remote control. In short, it sucks and not very responsive and often requires pressing a but over and over. Why not put numbers on it to make it easier to navigate channels on apps such as Samsung Plus or Directv. Would it kill you to actually put a fast forward and rewind but right on the remote? It also feels very cheap. With a name like Samsung, I would expect more.

I received this TV as a free “gift” when I purchased my Book 4 laptop. I ended up putting it on a stand and put it my 5 year old’s bedroom - that’s what he calls it when he sleeps over. We both love the picture so much so that he will not let anyone touch it! I’m now jealous that it has a better picture than the Sony in my bedroom. Last night while watching the NBA playoffs in the living room I said to my wife that I needed to go watch it in our grandson’s bedroom. She was busy cooking Easter dinner in the living room and I couldn’t get comfortable. Last week I even told her I wanted to upgrade our bedroom with the same model.

I received the 65” version of this model when I purchased my laptop and it’s great I had to get another Samsung Crystal UHD! The wall mounted TV in my bedroom was a 60” and I couldn’t even read the basketball game’s score! This 40” easily replaced my 60” with the clear and sharp screen!!! Easy to mount and set up. Practical plug it in, connect whatever you’re using and follow the utility to set it up. There is one downside and that is there is no optical connection. Figure that?! I couldn’t connect my Sonos soundbar because this TV doesn’t have an optical connection. So I ordered a Vizio soundbar which has a HDMI connection..

This 43” tv is just ok. Sitting directly in front the picture looks great. Start moving towards either side and as the viewing angle increases the picture quality diminishes substantially. It’s as if you are only seeing the white band of colors. Bought this tv for our bedroom and where we get ready in the morning makes this tv utterly horrible to view. Also, no fiber optic output for audio. And finally, no way to turn off internal speakers. Only gives you option to connect to a Bluetooth speaker instead. Come on now…… I have owned two other Samsung tvs and absolutely LOVE them. This one misses the mark by a mile for its price.

I bought this TV about a month ago and I love the picture quality and the extra goodies that come with it like Samsung Plus. The only problem is that it has no digital optical in ports so I can't use my old speakers that I had hooked up with previous Samsung TV. I have trying digital audio conversion kits and nothing seems to work. Even to hook up a Vizio soundbar it will not feed audio to soundbar. Why I didn't check for digital audio ports I'll never know. Why would Samsung offer a TV so great with so limited audio in ports?? Not everyone has soundbars with HDMI connections. I've been messing with this issue for about 3 weeks now, about to give up. Help!!

I purchased my 65" DU7200 Smart TV a few days ago after my other brand 55" stopped working. I did some research and found that Samsung is great product since I have Samsung phone. I was thinking how will this smart TV be any different being my first. Well, I am in love with my new Smart TV. It has changed the number of remotes basically from 5 down to 2. I am surprised by how much it weights, also nothing. The features, the picture, the sound and flexibility are awesome. As I am still learning to use it, now to just learn how to connect it to my AV Receiver. This is a great TV and highly recommend this Samsung Smart TV.

Verry Nice TV for the money, i actually had the 2018 version same model but someone decided to punch the TV , but that's a different story. Anyway I was glad this was on sale because way back when it was very expensive. it was simple set up but i was used to the non Tizen operating system, but it seems a little quicker and it has more apps, i was just used to the old menu plain jane on the bottom. It is just something I will have to get used to. But it is great my old sound bar i connected it and it worked right away. the remote is much nicer and i downloaded Samsung SmartThings to my phone and some times use that to control the TV. I would recommend this tv .

I bought this tv a short time ago and it has exceeded my expectations. Everything was easy to set up, downloading apps is a cinch and the sound is good quality. I've been amazed on how clear the picture is, all the details can be seen easier, seen things in movies that I watched before and never noticed them until now. For dollar to dollar it's a great purchase. The only thing I purchased for the tv is straps to keep it falling forward, even though the television stability is good I just took extra precautions because of pets. I give this television two thumbs up..The remote is easily maneuvered. Highly recommend the tv.

Other than the occasional software glitch and having to do a complete reset to factory settings and getting no help from Samsung after calling twice and being put on hold for more than 2 hours each time with then being hung up on by costumer service never answering the phone. I figured out how to fix this issue and update software. The TV is less than 3 months old and have had this software issue where the TV will not open or connect my apps. Not a happy costumer at this time. Samsung just puts me on hold for more than 2 hours then hangs up. No call back option in the que. Samsung costumer service is bad. Software issues need to be resolved. Shame on Samsung!!!!

I have owned a Samsung for 8-9 years and I like the clarity of the picture displayed on the screen. The colors seem more vibrant than any other TV I've ever owned. I liked my 40" TV so much that I went out and bought 3 new TVs (a 50", 65" and another 50") and a refrigerator this past winter when I moved into my new house. I find the TVs remotes easy to use and help navigate any of the features on the menu. I have 3 Samsung TVs and a Samsung refrigerator that I truly like and would recommend to anyone who was in the market to buy a new appliance. I would give zero stars. Really disappointed that Samsung skinned this TV with a whole new UI. The old one was fine, it just ran slow. Bought this TV as a newer version of the same TV from 2017 hoping a faster processer would make it usable but of course they had to upgrade the UI to something totally different which is a nightmare to navigate and runs just as slow as a 7 year old "smart" tv. Still have to waste more hours trying to find all channels. Captions always come on after turning them off. the voice assistant is still on even when turned off. I thought the Vizio software sucked but this might be even worse.

Fantastic picture and the updates to Samsungs smart features over the years have made the TV much better but one glaring problem is the lack of an optical port. While I know HDMI ARC is the supposed to be better, I often have more trouble with it than just a standard connection plus it also eats up a valuable HDMI port. For a gamer who has multiple consoles and other random things going down to two ports is just obnoxious. Plus many of us have soundbars that don't have HDMI ARC on the sound bar itself. Just look back at the T400 sound bar and it has only optical and Bluetooth. It is just frustrating that all the other 2024 Samsung TVs have the optical port but not this one.

I have had my tv for about a year and it has honestly been giving me nothing but issues. Towards the beginning of my purchase around 3 months in, the screen suddenly had streaks appear on the tv. It was pixelated streaks. I had not dropped or damaged the tv. Any time I try to use max (the streaming service) it immediately kicks me off and takes forever to load back in. Lastly just now at 1:50am a horrendous LOUD screeching noise started to come from the tv. I restarted my Xbox as I thought that was the problem, nope it was the tv. The only fix was turning it off. It has been nuisance after nuisance and honestly and going to get rid of this tv the second I can afford a different brand.

Overall, I would say this is a good TV. I have had it for about a year now. The picture is very good. My only wish is that when you have a very dark scene that the picture to be brighter. At the moment, I have brightness at 100 and it is still too dark . The Wi-Fi connection is OK. I think it could be better. I find there’s a little bit of a drag buffering when I’m using the remote on the various apps. I wish the remote had number buttons on it since I do use over the air and going up and down on the guide is that what I really like. I bought an additional remote to allow for that feature. Overall, I would give this TV an eight out of a 10 and would purchase this television again

I recently moved into a bigger room and my 43’ TV was not cutting it. So I decided it was time to go bigger. Originally I was thinking a 65’ and then after more thinking I thought that may be a little too big. So, my next idea was a 55’, but then my boyfriend said that he thought that would still be too small. So we met in the middle at 60’ and it was just right! I love it so much and it’s the perfect size for the space! The picture is great, the features are great. My boyfriend loves playing his PS5 and it’s super easy to switch between console and cable tv. I am very happy with my purchase!

The picture quality of this TV is great for its price point. It is also very bright, going from a dark scene to a light scene actually hurst my eyes, that's how bright it can get. Overall, I am very happy with the performance of the TV for streaming, watching movies, and video gaming. That said, the Samsung software is convoluted and complicated. Some apps take too long to load (like Disney+ and YouTube) and navigation requires too many clicks to get where you want to be. Amazing hardware, ok software. I hope Samsung will put some more effort into software and also offer more frequent updates.

The visual quality is very good, but that is about it. The interface is just very user not user friendly. You cannot customize nearly anything, nor can you have it set to load on a specific input. Everything apparently has to go through the messy and cluttered home screen. The sound is weak, I will have to invest in some better speakers or a soundbar, because if there is any noise nearby you cannot hear well. The remote is very basic and apparently it is VERY hard to get any other remote to work with Samsung, especially if you want to use voice input. I should have went with a better brand.

The picture is great. I have other older Samsung smart tvs and am a little disappointed with the change to the Home screen. I prefer the old style with the icons across the bottom of the screen and being able to scroll right or left to the preferred app while still watching the previous program. The new home screen has tiny app icons that have to be scrolled down to before being able to scroll right to the app of choice. Additionally, the YouTube TV app goes to an earlier program rather than the list of current programs. I do like the convenience of the sleep timer since this is in a bedroom.

I am very disappointed with Samsung and your product of TV’s. I purchased 3 Samsung TV’s between Dec 2023 and Dec 2024. The 43” I purchased in 2023 quit working in Dec 2024 out of the blue just after I purchased another 43” tv in Nov 2024 for my room at my son’s house. And I also bought a 32” for my grandson in December 2024. Now I have one that lasted only a year, I’m hopeful the other two last more than a year. I wrote toe Samsung about my tv and never got a reply. My son also has problems with his huge Samsung tv. We are so put out with your products and no help from your company.

My friend got one for their gaming setup, and it’s legit. The colors are bright, and even when we’re watching old movies, it makes them look way better. Plus, it’s got all these extra features, so it’s not just for watching shows. And you can see the screen clearly from different spots in the room, which is great for when everyone comes over. I went with this TV because I had a 7 series from 5 years ago. I wanted more screen real estate and boy did I get it. I sit about 10 ft away from this ginormous screen and I feel like I'm inside whatever I am watching. Colors are awesome brightness is good so I don't know what some of the other reviews have said about brightness. Maybe they want to burn out their retinas. It has Bluetooth 3 HDMIs and airplay plus you can connect it to your Wi-Fi or hardwire it to your internet connection. The sound is good if you're just watching regular TV but I am going to up my game and get a Samsung soundbar in my next purchase. I definitely recommend this TV if you're not looking for or cannot afford a QLED or a Neo.

I'm enjoying this TV as it is my first "smart" TV. The pic is great and I can see those wide screen shots that I couldn't see before. I also enjoy the greater choice of programming which I didn't have when watching broadcast TV. I have a couple of concerns. One is that I can't get even all the channels on the broadcast (antenna) side of the TV. I'm using the same antenna, I just plugged the same connector in that I used for the old TV, but I cannot get any NBC channel. This means I can't see SNL LIVE on Saturday nights. I wonder if something in the TV is blocking it so that I must pay for Peacock to see it? Also, sometimes the interface seems a little slow or even non-responsive. It's like the TV freezes up and doesn't respond to the to the remote. Since I bought an extra remote, and it reacts the same with both, I'm pretty sure it's not that. It could be that my internet connection is slow (I have DSL way out in the country). We'll see when I get fiber hooked up in a few weeks. I really hope it isn't the TV.

I’ve had the tv for almost a month, I am very satisfied with the quality of the tv and the picture is so clear and has almost a 3 d look to it compared to my previous tv. It was a little difficult to set up but I figured it out. The remote that came with the tv is small and simple and took me a little bit to figure out how to adjust the volume and channels. (You push the buttons forward or backwards to change channels and volume) it is just different than any other remote I’ve had. Hopefully this tv will last longer than 3-4 years that I was getting out of another brand of tv.

TV is fine. But. I hear my TV thru a very nice streaming device that connects to the TV via either optical audio, RCA, or a headphone jack, streaming TV sound directly to my cochlear implant. WAY better than closed captioning. This new TV has only HDMI outputs. Samsung told me HDMI is sufficient for audio outputs when I contacted them. I purchased a couple of third party devices that claim to convert HDMI to any of the options on my streamer, none worked, wasted time and money. I contacted the company that makes my streaming device, they told me my new TV is flawed. I agree.

The most difficult tv to navigate, ever!!! While the picture is really good, the navigation of this tv is frustrating every single day. The remote is also frustrating. The sound button is also for muting so we’re always muting when needing to go up or down on the volume. The apps on the screen are also difficult to navigate. I had a return placed for it since it will go blank for a full minute when a show cuts for commercial. But, I’m still deciding whether I want the hassle. I keep thinking we’ll adjust to it but it’s frustrating every single day for the last 2 weeks.

I upgraded from a 47" Samsung TV, and I liked it a lot, however it was starting to have some issues. This new 55" was a huge upgrade in picture quality, and the UI as well. My only gripe, and it is minor, is there was no longer an optic audio out going to my existing soundbar. So, I had to upgrade that as well to an e-Arc HDMI connection between the two which seems to be the new standard. All things considered, I am very happy with the new TV and Samsung Soundbar. The setup up was seamless and very easy, and I am blown away by the features, picture quality and sound quality.

Bought for a Christmas present. So far, everything that I've viewed (best with sports like football, and nature documentary) has exceeded my expectations. Blu-Ray movies (via a separate Blu-Ray player) are great. However - there is one item that truly doesn't meet the standards above. THE REMOTE. So far, I've experienced less than stellar use. Dish doesn't have the remote in the list. I've had to change the battery 6x in over a month. Sometimes the volume works, other times NOT. Sometimes the tv will turn on, sometimes NOT. Except for the lame remote, I'd give 5 stars.

I always purchase Samsung THIS, they are very well made. This recent Samsung Crystal UHD is so incredible, it super easy to plug in and get started, also, because I already have a smart Samsung TV in the living room, the new TV just cloned all of the apps and the picture/screen is so vivid and beautiful. I don't like my Samsung TV...I love it. There's so many incredible features and if you have questions about the features, as long as you register your purchase you can contact Samsung. This TV is so awesome, I didn't mind writing a review for it. I recommend this product.

Great picture but had to return it. When trying to change from streaming back to cable, TV could not find connection. We had to turn it off and back on to get back to cable input. Changed inputs, HDMI cables, rebooted TV, nothing fixed problem. It would access cable with no problem on first turning it on, but could not go back if changed to streaming without turning it off first. Also, it does not have optical connection so could not be used with our older Bose sound bar. Returned to store and bought different Samsung model with optical connection so. It works fine.

I have been a Samsung customer for over 20 years. I still like the product except for the controllers. I had a lot of trouble with the new controllers , especially the solar tiny units. I went on line and bought new controllers but they are more complicated with buttons I do not need, please go back to making good controllers that work easily and have some size that will make them easy to use. You should really replace what I have for free. In recently I bought 4 Samsung TVs. (my house was hit by lightening destroying all electronics) I have 3 tiny control units I do not use. This model at least did not have a solar controller so a bit better. I have 2 solar and I don't use them. There are three 65 inch models.

Just ok. Kinda awkward to figure out at first, as far as moving apps and downloading, stuff like that. The sensor is terrible!!!! If you are not pointing the remote directly at the little sensor, it does not work! And no way to add an extender. So you are just stuck with it. It also changes to symphony mode outnof the blue sometimes. It creates a bad echo st certain noise levels. So you have to go in and manually turn it off during what ever you are watching. Also, doesn’t work will all sound bars. So make sure you check before buying one. But picture is good and clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new TV is super! It took only a few days to understand how the UI worked in this TV. WITHOUT THE USER GUIDE. Once I got into Settings, it all came together for us. After learning what to do, I tried the different Screen Modes and found that Filmmaker Mode gave the screen more brightness, as 4K films can be very dark in low light scenes. In 4K films, the TV will go automatically into Filmmaker Mode. I even connected our Samsung Crystal 70” TV to a digital mixing system via USB; we have 4500 watts of audio - and it works seamlessly. It’s installed on a wall mount and though it’s a large TV, the mount can be moved side to side as well as up or down and even in FHD, the screen looks very nice! You guys rock!

Compared to a previous brand,that was a 4k, it didn't have the clarity that my crystal tv has. The area is not super bright where i placed the tv,but it gives off enough lighting to send crisp pictures out. I also dont notice any lag, when i am watching sports. I don't see any blur as well. I brought this tv a 65inch and now im ready for an upgrade to a 75 and or maybe an 80 or above!. This tv will light up any family room and makes an excellent choice for the price!.

Beautiful tv but for me there are a few downfalls for me. The TV is a little slow when scrolling up and down on the Home Screen and does sometimes shut down on me due to obvious bugs. The blurr is pretty obvious when playing video games like Call Of Duty or when watching action packed movies. It is very hard to distinguish action going on in both situations. There isn’t an Optical audio port and there aren’t enough hdmi connections for such a nice tv. The color is good and speakers are good but for me this model doesn’t live up to my 70” Sony which is a big downer.

Bought this less than a month ago and it is pretty bad. Will be return for refund. First: there is no audio output, no 3.5mm or optical. I purchased an e-ARC HDMI audio extractor and it will not work, even AFTER CONTACTING support. The e-ARC only seems to work with Samsung sound bars. Second: apps as Netflix will lockup after using them for 4-5 days, it is worse when using the "Autorun Last App" . The only solution is to reinstall the app I have owned a 40" JU640D series TV for over 8 years without a single problem, sound, optical 3.5mm audio works great.

Beautiful picture if you have a 4k source. I saw this Samsung DU7200 4K 43" TV in the store, and I was blown away by the picture and sound. After I got home and hooked the TV to a 1080p source I was extremely disappointed in the picture quality. I knew I didn't have a 4K cable box, 1080p only, but I thought this TV had upscaling. Which it does to an extent, but it is nothing compared to the native 4K which stores use to make their TV's have such a beautiful display. But that isn't the TV's fault, that is mine for not doing enough research. I'm ordering a 4k Utra HD hdmi cable. And a 4k TV source so I can get the best picture possible. Just know this if you plan on buying this TV, otherwise no complaints it is a great TV.

I like the quality the clearance and also the extra TV program & movies Samsung has from hub TV.. that's a real big bonus from Samsung to their customers., Samsung is the most popular television of the USA AT FIRST I NEVER WAS GOING TO GET ONE BECAUSE EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WORLD SEEM LIKE THEY HAD THEM AND I DON'T LIKE BEING LIKE OR HAVING THINGS LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE, BUT THEN LATER ON IN MY YEARS I JUST COULDN'T HELP IT I HAD TO PURCHASE ONE. the pictured sound was excellent, I was very disappointed to see no RCA output jacks to connect to my receiver amp and to my Zvox speaker for hearing improvement. I first purchased an HMI to RCA .Found out that did not work. Not very happy that I had to buy a new receiver with an HDMI input. Now when I turn on my TV, the receiver turns on. Not happy about that. I wanted both TV speaker and receiver sound at the same time.That does not work.All these problems could be avoided with TV RCA sound output Jacks.Engineering planing was very poor because of this.

The DU7200B Model has been the same as every Samsung TV we have ever purchased. Absolutely not one issue and knocking on wood with this recently bought 55". No disrespect but remember back as a kid say in the 1970's your TVs were inexpensive, but crap. Loyal customers and Panasonics did well for us. Their quality went down and so did the manufacturing of them. Saw good reviews on Samsung starting I believe in the !990's so bought our first Samsung TV. They are the ONLY Tv we have bought ever since. Forget about advertised cheap price deals on any other TV maker. We don't even pay attention to them. We research the best reliable/value Samsung TV we can find and that's the one we buy. Keep up the great work and thank you!

With the TV size, I honestly feel like it provides a lot more clarity when it comes to the TV I could tell it has a lot of pixel so the image quality comes in very refreshing. I also like the connectivity and how fast is really able to cooperate with the rest of my technology really creating a simple technological field that’s able to be highly praised in my opinion. altogether, I really feel like the TV is really able to be put within my living room to create a very cohesive. First the remote is small and has no numbers so to go to a certain channel you have to scroll through all the channels in between. Second I need the closed caption because of my hearing and if I switch between antenna channels and apps then back to antenna it doesn’t work so I have to unplug the tv and plug it back in to get captions, if I shut captions off on apps before switching to antenna and wait about a half hour then turn them on again they will work but if I turn them on right after I switch to antenna they won’t work, it’s crazy, I have a 46 in Samsung in my bedroom I’ve had probably 8 years you can leave captions on no matter which channel I have on it’s great other than captions and the remote the 65in has a great picture.

Being non-techies, this Samsung TV Plus has us completely baffled. We are in our very late 80’s and have had to ask our younger friends how to maneuver around the tv. It was one of our young friends who convinced us to buy this. Am certain it’s a great tv, but we really wish it came with a PRINTER USER MANUAL so we could follow through with directions. We wish we could just turn it on and find immediately what we want. Oh, to be young again. As I said, it must be a wonderful tv for those who knkw what they are doing. Quality of picture is great.

We bought this just before Thanksgiving for a Christmas present. It remained in the factory box until 3 days before Christmas when it was set up and installed on a tv stand. Initially the picture was great and the set up went smooth. This is a secondary tv and we don’t watch much so it has not had a lot of use. On Jan 7th we noticed lines on the left side and middle of the screen. We have tried to complete support requests on the tv and on the Samsung website however they both fail. Extremely disappointed that this tv hasn’t even worked for 2 weeks!!

We have mixed feelings about our new tv. It has a very nice picture like all tv's do, but it doesn't have output ports anymore making connecting tv ears and headsets difficult for people with hearing needs. I don't want to use bluetooth because it locks all the volume controls together. There's a "multi device" setting that allows separating bluetooth devices to fix volume control issues, but when you turn off the tv, then that setting gets turned off as normal operating procedure and the controls have to be reset every time you restart the tv.

My last Samsung just suddenly went black , so I shopped around for a good buy , this one is 55’ so a little bigger but the volume has to be turned up to the 40’s or higher , I had a sound bar connected to my old one but it has a weird small connector that hooked into the back of the old tv , this tv doesn’t have it . Finally found a cord online that had the two connectors I needed , ordered and delivered and it was only 6 inches ! Gave up on the sound bar for now but don’t understand why I have to turn the volume up that much . Hate the remote too!

I bought this before Christmas to replace the television that went out after the hurricane electrical issues. The only instructions that came with was how to take it out of the box and how to put on the stand. I had lots of difficulty with the non-intuitive channel changer. I don’t really understand what. Samsung smart TV does. Even my college aged daughter cannot get it to work properly. You think all I’d have to do would be to plug it in and it would work lol I wish I had bought something else. The TV has a great picture and was easy to set up and install. My only negatives about it are - no optical audio output jack. I had to exchange the sound bar I was sold with the TV for one with a HDMI input. - the remote is a bit sparse on direct button features/ controls. I can find all needed settings and controls but it takes a bit of navigating thru various menus to find. The Samsung TV features and apps are fairly robust and adding additional ones available is plentiful. I’m enjoying the TV and it is a great value for the price paid!

For the most part, I like our new Samsung 65” DU7200. It works well, has great video resolution and has a number of builtin streaming capabilities/options but… My main complaint with the TV is the lack of input and outputs. It has 3 builtin HDMI input, cable, one USB, Ethernet and that’s it! There’s no fiber/optical connection or the old 3 connector AV input options. I realize the older 3 input AV connections are somewhat outdated but we still have some devices which use those. As for the optical connection, there’s none. I have a couple of devices which require the optical cable and I’m not able to use this on the new TV. All this to say is, verify your needs before purchasing any new TV to make sure it has the capabilities you require.

The picture is great. I’m giving this TV 3 stars due to the reason that it does not have an optical port. I have owned many Samsung tv’s and I stick with them because they have a great picture. But I have a Sonos sound bar and I can not connect it and the tv has terrible sound capabilities so it is needed. Not sure why other models and sizes have the optical port but this one doesn’t and I can’t return it so I’m just going to live with it. I was also told by Samsung support that there is no way to convert so the sound bar could be attached.

The television is excellent especially for the price. The first television that I ever purchased was a Samsung 32 inch. I thought it was great. It lasted for 12 years and then started to have problems. It took me awhile before I could purchase another television. But after much research. I once again chose the Samsung TV. Going from a 32" to a 55" has been wonderful. I even rewatched many Netflix shows just to enjoy them more on a bigger screen. However, I hoping not to wait another 12 years before buying the next television. Because I really want to get a Samsung OLED television. My Samsung phone and tablet are the very best as well. I guess you could say that I'm a Samsung only family of one 😁! Thanks Samsung for some really awesome products.

There is no other tv that comes close to this in the price point. The features this tv has, makes life easier for me. For example, I can find out when my dogs are barking and put music on for them while I am at work. Also, it works with my Amazon Alexa which is so convenient! Although the picture is great, this tv is awful. The most infuriating tv I’ve ever had, let me explain. 1.) When you turn on the tv it starts playing some random show on the free tv app or some random movie before even clicking anything. 2.) There’s no “night mode” and you can hardly turn down the brightness for when you don’t want the screen blinding you at night. 3.) There’s no Chromecast and only airplay (I have both even on my Vizio). Chromecast is far superior. 4.) When playing a show while airplaying, it doesn’t continue to the next episode when the it’s over and instead makes your recast all over again. The picture quality is not worth how awful everything else is about this tv. I’d do anything to trade this tv with even the worst Vizio.

Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature. 2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. We have one issue, the set will just stop no sound and no picture. It's as if the pause button has been pressed. Except for a white circle rotating around ... nothing. Once when it was doing this I checked the operation of our computers, cell phones and printer. They were all working well. The TV set continued with the rotating circle for ten more minutes then the set came back on. I'm 77 and can no longer pick up the set up. Additionally I'm my invalid wife full time caregiver so finding a sitter, somehow loading the set, then taking it back to the store is an impossible task. So we have just learned to live with it. My cell phones are Samsun and many of our appliances too, and always praised your products BUT this has really put a damper on things.

This TV can best be described as slow and outdated. Its age appears to contribute significantly to performance issues. The delay from power-on to actual viewing is excessive, and it frequently locks up or drops out—symptoms consistent with the heat-related issues common in many Samsung devices. Basic enhancements, such as a voice-activated remote, would greatly improve usability. A more streamlined menu system could also help speed up navigation. Unfortunately, the inability to disable problematic programming gives the impression that Samsung prioritizes profit over the user experience. In contrast, I’ve found that their competitors are much more in tune with consumer needs. For these reasons, I no longer purchase newer Samsung devices or appliances.

I was looking for an larger inexpensive TV to fulfill a large viewing area in a 2nd home. The 55” just wasn’t quite enough TV so I decided to go with this 70” (couldn’t fit anything larger in the vehicle and didn’t want to wait for delivery). Once installed I was pleasantly surprised at both the quality and color the picture. Motion was much better than I expected for this price point. I have numerous QLED Samsung TV’s to compare to this and while not the same level it does a good job overall. The one area you may not be happy with would be the viewing angle. If you watch TV from the side you’ll notice the quality & color of the picture degrade somewhat. The further from center the more washed out the picture although slightly off center isn’t too bad.

I received this new tv as a gift from my husband and let me just say I am absolutely delighted with it. Samsung has always been a top brand in my book, from childhood on. I am a Galaxy girl as well. I can say the phone and tv are alike in many ways. The clarity, resolution, capabilities, and the user friendly construction all make this a home run. I am enjoying all the down time I get with my Samsung and with football season upon us, I have streaming capability at my finger tips, with such a realistic picture, it almost feels like I’m watching from the stadium instead of my bedroom. We use it to watch tv in our family room, and we also use it to play games on the PlayStation 5. Our room is kind of small, but this is the perfect size television. Anything bigger would be too big. We also use a Samsung soundbar with it. The sound and picture is like having a cinema right in our family room. It’s just me and my elderly aunt most of the time, so that’s just right for us. I love the features on this tv too. Having Samsung Tv is a plus as it has some many channels in different types of programming. Kids, news, sports, reality, movies, you name it and it’s there. It is just a great tv all around. I am really glad I bought it.

Wishing it had a better system menu, better up-scaling capability and a faster refresh rate. The Dynamic picture mode was unusable for me as I could easily see the refresh rate, which quickly instigated eye strain. When researching Samsung models and using the Samsung model compare tool on the website, I found it particularly frustrating at times that the website often offered up only high-level, sometimes trivial features for comparison. It made it extremely difficult to understand which models had what features. I likely would have spent more money to get a better model if it were easier to compare models against one another.

I wish I could afford to put it in the junk. The color is terrible and nighttime scenes are so dark that you can't make out the characters features. Samsung has walked me through actions to correct the problem. But that just makes it worse. I wanted someone to come out to fix. But that service is not available. They wanted me to take it back to factory settings. But then I would need to reset up my Netfix, etc. I am 78 years old. Sad that Samsung does elderly abuse from not wanting to send someone out so I can enjoy my TV

I was so excited to have a larger and newer TV, but this Samsung 70” with sound bar and woofer speaker has been a complete disappointment. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t have an optical port to plug in my seinhauser headphones and I haven’t been able to find an adapter to use. It’s been an adjustment using the programing for the Samsung. It doesn’t always keep track of what you’ve been watching in the “continue watching” row and if I don’t write down what and where I’ve been watching it’s a challenge to find it again. Also sometimes when I choose a show and click on it it goes to another show and I have to go back several times to get it to start or give up! Sorry Samsung I don’t like knocking your product and my previous TV was a Samsung, with no issues.

the tv is great and the service is even better. I bought my Samsung 65 inch UHD TV because it is highly rated Set up and registration was a little problematic but worked out after about an hour It worked fine after set up all day Later that night after about 12 hours of operation the TV large vertical line down the screen which was there the next day also Boxed it up and returned it for a refund We did some research shopped around ended up buying a Samsung QLED 65 inch with a 5 year warranty included in the price Set up was easy and it’s been great for the last couple of weeks After reading comments about reviews I find it alarming how many issues there are with the new TVs I am originally replacing a 65 inch Vizio that won’t turn on Did all the on line fixes to no avail It’s only 1-1/2 years old not worth fixing

I have always bought Samsung and I have been very satisfied. I have one in my living room that I love! It has a good size remote which is also good because it is easy to find and use. I have a second TV I purchased for my bedroom, the TV is great, the remote is very small and the volume buttons up and down are a nightmare to use without the light on to adjust them. The remote is so small and thin, it is easily lost, and I had to, you can make the bed and never see it under the blanket, I had to attach a flower to it to be able to locate it, You have a lot of senior's buying your TVs. I think the remotes could be a little larger and we are also not techie people and find the use of the Samsung TV app little difficult to navigate, But Samsung's are GREAT TV'S !!!!!!!

I recently bought this Samsung television and I am very happy with my purchase. The unboxing and setup was extremely easy. (Find another person to help you get it out of the box and lifting it onto whatever you're putting it on). The picture quality is truly incredible. I'm amazed at the detail and the blacks are so deep. Very impressive. Installing streaming services is easy using barcodes. The remote initially is somewhat confusing with navigation at first, but becomes easy to use the more you use it. I wish it was backlit, but that's really my only annoyance. Overall, I'd recommend this television to anyone who wants to save money without sacrificing quality. If it's your first 4K TV or you're upgrading from a 1080P or other brand, you won't be disappointed.

Great for the price. I have a 65 inch Samsung OLED TV in my living room and it produces an AMAZING picture. This one out of the box left me a bit disappointed. That is until I went through the menu and found the picture quality menu. It comes in "Eco" mode but while switching modes I found Dynamic mode the best and it changed my mind about the TV and the image quality. It doesn't have the best black reproduction but overall happy for the room I put it in at the price I paid. The sound is also quite audible.

Upsetting experience. This was my second tv because the ROKU tv had terrible picture quality. This one wasn’t much better because I was having to change the picture quality/clarity with each different show I was watching. Ordered tv number 3 and upgraded to a little bit better picture quality and hoping for no more issues. Remote sucks too!! I had a Samsung before with no picture quality issues. I feel they are making TVs crappy now so you’ll spend more. I only gave 2 stars because assembly was at least easy.

This is the 2nd Samsung tv I have ever had. The sound and picture on the 32 inch is great. This one however is the worst tv I have ever seen for the sound to be all over the place. I have it where it is supposed to level off. Have not seen it do it yet. The commercials are so lound and the movies are so low, I find that my tv watching is a whole lot less enjoyable. I am either missing what someone said or scrambling for the remote cause the commercial came on and its deafening. My next tv will NOT be a Samsung.

Since it’s a smart tv, it comes with apps that you can log into to stream. I love that it allows me to stream my favorite shows on my apps of choice. I also like that it comes with its own channels. There are also local channels too. The clarity is on point and just wow! The sound is perfect and does t really have a scratchy undertone. The tv size is perfect for a living room or a bedroom. The packaging it came in was awesome because the tv came with no scratches. It also comes with a small remote which helps a lot when you’re trying to navigate inside the tv. Overall a great tv with good sound, high quality picture, and loaded with lots of apps. I would recommend this tv to anyone a million times.

Confused about everything no kind of instructions in box, plus not even a web site is listed anywhere inside or on the outside of the box in order to know your on the right site to find out how to setup the tv properly. Not everyone knows how the new tv world works I haven’t had a tv in over 10 years. I still haven’t gotten it completely setup I don’t know what’s free or not etc. I’m very frustrated. I do know the sound while playing any stations is set very low compared to its internal instruction’s volume.

I would give this 5 stars but the built in "Smart TV" is pretty much unusable. Apps either freeze or don't load. I tried using the Samsung TV free channel and movies and I can only get maybe one or two tv shows or movies that I am interested in to load. This is not an internet issue as i have tested this with other devices and they all work fine. I am a Samsung product user/fan through and through and this is very disappointing. I will have to get a Google Casting device in order to use this brand new TV.

We've had our 65" tv for a couple of months now. Overall it is a good tv. The picture quality is great. Sound is great. I have zero complaints on the technical side of things. We love it. But the user interface is god awful. That's why I put 3 stars. It's hard to navigate, you're unable to personalize it, there is no app store.(seriously I can't find Max on there?) Gaming automatically takes you to the gaming page. No I don't want to play my tvs games. I want my xbox to show up. There's not a way to change this in settings besides having it revert to last app or usage when you start it. I hate to give it a bad review, because honestly the quality for the price is great. But Jesus christ the user interface makes me want to eat my foot. On the plus side, the mobile remote is nice.

I love everything about it! The Ultra High Definition is for real!!!! It's amazing, almost like the people are standing right here in my living room!!! The color is fantastic too! It comes standard with Samsung tv and was very easy to setup using smart things. I had a smaller earlier model before and replaced it with this. My only negative thus far is that this TV DOES NOT include an optical port for hooking up a soundbar or audio system. It does allow you to connect one via Bluetooth however I have had several cases where the audio has defaulted back to the tv instead of my soundbar.

Not only do you get free live TV this way but also serval movies and shows on demand. I am very happy with this tv purchase! The quality of the video is amazing and the colors are phenomenal. The sound quality is very good as well. It is easy to navigate and control. It also works very well with my Xbox for gaming and has no lag. The only issue I have had with it is trying to connect to my Samsung refrigerator, but I am pretty sure that is an issue with the fridge and not the television. This television is phenomenal and my goal is to eventually replace every tv in my home with Samsung.

I’d give my Samsung 55” UHD a ZERO if I could. It constantly stops to buffer. Sometimes 3-4 times PER HOUR. I’d throw it in the dumpster but it said it didn’t want it. This TV has only disappointed. Over and over again… I’ve tried clearing cache and unplugging it for a few minutes. I’d wave a magic wand if I thought that’d help - but it won’t. This TV is HORRIBLE and not worth the price - even if it’s free. Of course, I’ve yet to hear from Samsung. This is my second review and it’s only getting worse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this samsung tv mostly for watching newest movies on the samsung movies app. But there's also a few more other features I love about this samsung tv. One feature i absolutely love is smart view. Smart view allows my to connect my Samsung Galaxy Z 6 Fold to my Samsung tv, then allows me to use my Samsung tv as a giant portable desk top computer. Also another feature i love is Dex. Dex is a feature on my Samsung Galaxy Z 6 Fold has that automatically connect to my Samsung tv, then allows me to mirror anything that is on my phone onto the samsung tv. This is very useful everyday in my business life! And there's so many other features that I can list all day, but those are my top 5 best features on my Samsung tv. So all in all I will have to give this samsung tv a 10.0 out of 10.0!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going from a 32" 1080p to this 4k TV is unbelievable, the picture when watching a 4k movie or show is like I'm looking out a window. The sound is amazing, I can hear things that I couldn't hear before in my favorite movies and shows. When listening to music I can hear base and the highs and lows. However the remote is completely useless, it's just way too small and when pushing a button sometimes an other button gets pushed. I definitely can recommend this TV just buy a universal remote to go with it.

Good value for the money, but the picture could be a little bit better and easier to adjust. It looks good in 4K, but high definition, because of its size, lacks a little. But I guess that’s the give when you get a good Price on one of these. My only other beef is that since it didn’t have a swivel base, I bought one to mount it on, but the back of the TV is very flimsy plastic, and I didn’t want to damage a brand new TV so I was unable to put it on any type of mount, either rotating or wall mount.

I boughbt 2 units of this particular model, and they were both excellent until the power source on the first purchase died/became unreliable, resulting in the need for a return/refund of the purchase price. Upon review, seems not an uncommon occurrence that is blame on using surge protectors or power strips, of which I'm dubious. The second unit is still going strong, and is plugged into the same model surge protector used in every other room of my house, for every piece of electronic equipment.
