Since then I've owned almost every single version of the Zfold series. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even when many might think that is "just another yearly upgrade", it is impresive what Samsung as a brand can actually achieve on a span of a year when it comes to improving their products, making it so it feels like a completely different experience from the Fold 7 to the Fold 8 Ultra. It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. The titanium layer is definitely a great feature while keeping the device SO thin thanks to the silicon carbon battery. Definitely best foldable so far, hands down.

They have lessened the crease, put better cameras in and it comes with the latest android software. I have been a Fold user since the Fold 3 and I don't see myself going back. I use the multitasking split screen feature almost everyday. The phone is buttery smooth and feels like a normal candy bar phone when Folded. I am really enjoying my experience with this phone and I'm still learning how to take and edit pictures in a more creative way. The new edit feature that allows you to edit photos and video along with the new filters allow you to create some really cool looking media.

I was blown away by how much thinner and lighter the Z Fold 8 Ultra feels. My Z Fold 6 now definitely feels like a brick in comparison! The performance is superb. Navigating apps, multitasking, and general browsing all feel incredibly smooth and responsive. It also pairs perfectly with my Wi-Fi 7 setup and 2 Gbps internet speeds, making everything feel exceptionally fast. Overall, this is an amazing phone to own. Samsung has really raised the bar with the Z Fold 8 Ultra, and I’m extremely impressed with the improvements.

However, does it too issued when I find out?Compare?When I previously using Note series. First, it's so easy to overheat from my new c Z fold ultra, i needed to unfold it to cool down my device.Otherwise, it will damaging my large screen. Second, it is about my phone is not as smooth when it opened multi application. I don't have any problem in my period samsung phone. When I opened the browser and I reopened again some other application like whatsapp or single, it froze for at least 4 to 7 seconds etc. It happened occasionally, but not all the time.

I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. I chose to wait for the 8 as the 7 since I had decided this spring that this was the year. I am not upset with the decision. The zFold8 Ultra is so thin and all folds are so functional. I use mine for work and personal use. When I can use Excel and Outlook on split screen it makes work so much easier. When home I can play my games or stream movies or scroll videos with lightning speed! Now I even have a sold camera to match. I am very pleased!

I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

The updated size of the cover screen is a massive game-changer for me. It is wide and clear enough that I can easily read everything on the top screen without even needing my glasses, which means I find myself needing to unfold the phone much less often for quick tasks.In hand, the engineering is phenomenal. It is incredibly lightweight and so slim that it actually feels like holding my wife's S26 Ultra. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. When it arrived, I was FLOORED by how light and how thin it is! I also REALLY like the way it opens, with almost a snap, and the crease is BARELY there! I'm extremely happy with how bright it is, how quick it charges, and let's face it, it's a conversation starter as well! I chose the Violet Shadow and it's a BEAUTIFUL color. With 1 Terabyte of space, I expect to be able to take a TON of images, and they are sure to be beautiful consider it's a 200 megapixels! This is the BEST foldable there is, hands down! I love that it fit in my pocket but i kept misplacing it. Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 ultra because I was using a 24 ultra before, and didn't want to lose too much of camera quality. So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

My primary concern pertains to the absence of complimentary cases when procuring two high-value devices. Including this accessory would be a welcome gesture. Nevertheless, the user experience with this device is truly exceptional; the display's responsiveness and capabilities are outstanding. The enhanced durability of the hinge alleviates previous concerns regarding breakage, and the battery performance has shown significant improvement. Thank you.

I also like how skiny the phone is even when its folded. Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

I choose this one sleek and very responsive new samsung Z fold8 ultra on my recent upgrade and it does not disappoint. My phone usage goes along the lines of calls, text, photos, videos and games. In each category I have not had a single complaint. It's features and speed are awesome, The clarity of the photos combined with the zoom in ability has helped me on a few occasions to be able to find cracks that i had not noticed with nacked eye. The Ai features is incredible. The phone is easier to open. It's an amazing and incredible device. I'm still learning all the cool features but so far i am obsessed.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fold user since the fold 4 and have not gone back. My most recent upgrade was from the fold 6. I chose to upgrade because the size, battery, and internals were all major upgrades and I couldn't be happier. I mainly watch videos on my phone but with the new cameras I am excited to be able to take much better and high quality photos. I was blown away by the difference in weight and thickness of the phone and how much nicer it is it have a more traditional sized screen comparable to other candy bar phones while still being able to use the internal screen. Needless to say I plan on continuing to use the z fold line up as long as they are made.

My last Fold was the 6 series, great product, great size but heavy with a case. I chose the Fold Ultra 8 for my newer version, and it is a wonderful product. It has the same basic features as the 6, but with great improvements. The phone is thinner, lighter, has a bigger screen, and new features. I have enjoyed working more with Gemini to accomplish a few tasks quicker and can't wait to spend a little more time exploring. There are some new features with photos, circle and search, and many AI features. I highly recommend any Z series Fold, but especially the Ultra 8.

The battery was getting weak in my existing s22 that I had had for 4 years so I thought it was time for a change. The phone exceeds expectations. The only reason this isn't a five-star review is that I got really used to having an S Pen, but because of the need to keep the phone thin I sort of understand the reason why the S Pen functionality wasn't included. I hope that in future iterations of this device that they will be able to bring back the screen writing functionality. But because of the other benefits the phone offers, I can live without it for now. This is a great phone.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was an early adopter of foldables. I got a Z Fold 3 when it first came out and I loved it. I eventually became frustrated with the poor camera, awkward front screen size, and ever-worsening crease. So I left. But I'm back now with the 8 Ultra. Front screen problem? Gone, this aspect ratio is the perfect blend of normal candy-bar style without being too wide. Camera issues? These are flagship cameras for a flagship phone (finally!). And the crease? Barely noticeable, especially when consuming content. I fell in love with foldables for the incredible productivity and now it works great for everyday family use as well. I cannot recommend this phone enough!

I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

With the Z Fold 7 I thought there wasn't really much for Samsung to improve but again they have. The 8 is even thinner which is wild. Literally as thin as the usb c plug. Wondering if the future will be no charge port and just have wireless charging or maybe so new tech will come out. The upgrade to the battery capacity and upgraded cameras are awesome. Overall its been great and I love multi-tasking on my phone for work and personal items. I consistently get ask by random people what phone I have and how I like it. Think I've sold a few people on it. Haha

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold 8 ultra and I feel I made the right choice for myself the cameras are great on this, the features this has are great once your start to learn how to use them I'm still learning but I use this for multiple things that's why I chose this over just the 8 this size make the difference but I use my phone for gaming, my kids school stuff, my work on thing when watching the videos prior to the pre order that made the decision was the fact that I constantly was always switching back and forth between tabs or screens having to redo stuff sometimes this makes it so you can easily have that multiple screens for that and nowadays I think that's important.

However the wow factor of being able to open the phone up to see the gorgeous large dispaly more than makes up for it. I am very impressed with the fact they have made the fold almost invisible. I can honestly say that I am totally unaware of it whilst using it and sometimes have to look at the back of the phone to make sure I am going to close the phone up the correct way. A brilliant piece of technology. It's just as quick as the S25 and overall I am extremely pleased that I traded in my S25.

I send a lot of emails and spend a lot of time sending slack messages. This phone has allowed me to multi cast and 2 both at the same time. 80% or more of the day is me being on my phone for work when I'm away from the desk. The battery last all day and the quality and brightness of the screen allows for me to do everything I can do on a computer to now do it on the phone. Outside of work I play racing games and gotcha games with the large screen size and the response time are on par with playing on a pc. This phone allows for me to control my house ecosystem.

As soon as I came across the Z Fold 8 Ultra I knew this was what I wanted. Then I found out it wasn't even out yet. That was pretty cool. Then I started with all the reviews and comparisons on YouTube and was reassured that I made the right choice. Then came the waiting for my Z Fold 8 Ultra to be delivered and I was pretty anxious to get ahold of it. Finally it was delivered and after about 3 days of use I am still finding exciting new Ai features and tricks, and new experiences with the Z Fold 8 Ultra. The phone is awesome.

While the changes weren't huge, the refinements are definitely there and make this device a joy to use. The redesigned hinge and sides make it much easier to open and use. While the thinnes changed slightly, you can feel it - it feels impossibly thin and it's truly an engineering feat. The displays are bright and honestly, overall, this is an incredible phone to use. Day to day operations, multitasking, gaming, watching content - all great experiences. This is my fifth folding device and will continue using them. OneUI is just right! Very happy with my purchase.

I've been using S model phones the last few years but was tempted back to the fold by it being so much thinner, lighter, and brighter than the 4 was and alleviating my main complaints with that phone (the cameras and narrow front screen). So far the 8 seems better in every way. I love that the screen is crisper and brighter, and how the phone snaps open and it perfectly flat - something the 4 could not do. All while easily fitting in my pocket and weighing much less.

The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

I am a senior so screen size is important. I do get teased about that by my family. Of course they have phones about size of deck of cards. I like the front screen on the Z fold 8 ultra better than the fold 7. It’s easier to use. Open up, the inner real estate is great for reading a book or videos. I still use my tab S11 ultra. Yes, i am a die hard samsung user.

The older models lacked the nativity of screen scaling across applications, but with the Fold8 Ultra, it has been long enough that most applications seamlessly transition from the standard exterior screen size to the jumbo inner screen. This phone does not disappoint. The processor keeps up with any demand you throw at the phone, and the displays are crystal clear with absolutely no noticeable crease now on the inner screen. Samsung has definitely got it right this time.

                The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra honestly feels like the first foldable where Samsung finally stopped making compromises. Unfolding it is a total treat the inner crease is practically invisible now, and both screens get so ridiculously bright that you can actually use it outside in bright sunlight without squinting. It's surprisingly thin and comfortable to hold, but what really blew me away was the battery life; it actually lasts through a full, heavy day without me needing to hunt for a charger. Throw in a super snappy processor and a 200MP camera that takes incredible shots, and it easily earns its spot as the best phone I've ever used for multitasking and gaming.

The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. Though some others claim the middle crease is still noticeable, I would sincerely state that in my particular case, the middle crease is basically non existent. Also, the phone possesses features that allow for better security. For a person like me, the size of the screen gives me the ability to zoom screens to a great size. This is definitely a big selling point. One thing that would really make it fantastic is if they offered it in a mellow gold type color.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra because I wanted a phone that could handle both everyday use and productivity without sacrificing the experience of a traditional smartphone. After using it, the biggest highlight for me is how useful the large inner display is. It is excellent for multitasking, watching videos, browsing, reading, and having multiple apps open at the same time. The phone feels fast and responsive, and the overall software experience works extremely well with the foldable design. I also really like having a normal outer display for quick everyday tasks and then being able to unfold it whenever I want more screen space. The cameras have been great for photos and videos, and the premium build makes the device feel like a true flagship. What I appreciate most is that the Fold8 Ultra doesn't feel like a phone with a folding screen just for the sake of being different. The larger display actually changes how I use my phone, especially for entertainment and multitasking. It has quickly become one of my favorite Samsung devices.

The bigger battery means I'm able to go at least a full day and a half without recharging. The screen's new anti-reflective coating and near-invisible crease significantly reduce distractions while viewing content. I love the huge inner screen for photo editing as a hobbyist photographer. The software experience is still unbeaten by any other foldable on the market; Samsung has nearly perfected it. And the new colors are bold yet understated. All in all, I love my new Fold8 Ultra!

Samsung continues to provide the phone to beat, not only in this category but any! This phone is perfect for me because I like the smaller, but big enough, front screen which can then open to almost 8 inches for that much more immersive experience. I also had to get the new Ultra 2 watch to create an unbeatable device pair. I just do not see ANY other phones with the same build quality as the high end Samsung. I have been, and will always be, a fan of Samsung products.

The battery life is great, the cameras and image processing are phenomenal, and both screens are gorgeous. I particularly appreciate how much brighter they both are because now I can clearly see them in the bright sun when I'm at the playground with my son. My only gripes at this point were the color selection and the inner display's cutout for the camera. Other than those two minor issues, I'm very glad I chose to get the z fold 8 Ultra.

Not to mention how awesome the upgraded battery life is. The crease is significantly less visible and one UI 9 is amazing. The Galaxy AI feature is really help me with my day-to-day life especially with phone call briefings, I also never have to worry about my battery life because it's significantly longer than my fold seven. The day I got it I did not plug it in, transferred all of my files from my old phone. And then went an extra day without charging it because the battery life is so long.

Display is one of my favourite things. It is bright, sharp and the big inner screen makes watching videos and doing work much more enjoyable. Battery life has also been better than I expected. With normal daily use, I can get through most of the day without worrying about charging.Performance feels very smooth too, even when I have several apps open at the same time. I was a little unsure about the Hinge at first, but it feels strong and well made. The phone also feels more solid than I expected, which gives me confidence about Durability for everyday use. There is a small learning curve because it is different from a normal phone, but after using it for a few days, I got used to it quickly. Overall, it feels like a premium phone that is actually useful.

I read the early prediction of a larger battery and decided that I would seriously consider the Z fold 8. As the year unfolded, I read many rumors about the 8 and, lately, the 8 ultra. I can truthfully say that I was more excited with each rumor. When I saw the drastic battery life upgrade, the next generation processor, the camera breakthrough and the AI improvement I knew I had to have the Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra. My 8 ultra with a protective case is thinner than my bare fold 5. I have now had it for two days and I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you Samsung!

The form factor is what I need and use so there was no brain power lost trying to decide on what form factor. Superior device - very well designs and built - premium feel - and no doubt a very powerful device. When considering, I choose the 1TB unlocked unit in violet. No learning curve for me coming from the Z Fold7. Well executed Samsung.

                They did a split screen on the Z fold 8 ultra for the messaging and the phone dialer. It is bad you cannot see a thing you are typing it just sucks. Do not buy this phone keep your 7 till they fix this. I have had every phone and been happy with them until now. The screen is just to small and tiny for doing anything. It is not worth the money. Do not buy this if you like a big screen because you will not get a big screen with this.

I chose to continue my Galaxy Zfold journey with the upgraded Zfold 8 Ultra! OMG this thing is Blazing fast, has insane photo quality, the AI features are great. I mean just the photo AI alone is leagues ahead of other phones. Also, the size and weight are perfect, major weight drop from the fold 5 (my last phone). Display quality amazing! I am sure there are many more features I haven't discovered yet I've only had it 2 days, but I am already impressed. The data transfer alone was so easy and fast. I can keep going but I haven't had enough time to try everything yet. Very happy Samsung fan here.

I received my new phone in the mail ahead of schedule and switching everything from my old Fold 6 was so easy. As for the phone, this upgrade is incredible. The Fold 8 Ultra and as wide when folded as my Fold 6 is unfolded. It's noticeably faster when I'm playing games or loading pictures and videos or using AI editing, so lightweight, and picture quality is an impressive jump in quality. I chose the Fold line for my phone since the Fold 3 and can't imagine going back to standard phones ever again.

Been loving the zfold 8 ultra so far. The size compared to my 6 is hugely noticeable and the crease is almost gone. I've enjoyed how the almost snaps open and closed giving it a firm and sturdy feeling. Gaming and streaming on it has been great. Make sure you get a case that supports a kickstand in your favorite consuming mode (landscape or portrait). It is soooo thin (besides the camera bump). Nothing has been able to pull me away from the fold line. Excited to see the tri-fold next year!!
