    You might be able to use your smartphone 3G connection to uplink your tablet to the Internet when WiFi is not available. When 'tethering' is enabled on your mobile it acts as a 'hotspot' through which a tablet can connect to the 3G network and so on to the Internet. In doing so there is no need for a 3G SIM in the tablet and you save on subscription costs.

    Does your GT 10.1 actually have 3G functionality? If yes then make sure you have a SIM inserted.

    Hi. I have the original 7" Tab. To turn on 3G on this model, I press & hold the power button & select from the option that appear. Hope this helps.

    If the page is loaded then it will still be readable but navigate away i.e. click a link and it will most likely be lost.

    I bought on line a Tablet Galaxy 10.1 Model GT-7510/M16 from UK. The set-up is not in English but in Chinese. Can anyone help me how do I change the default language to English UK? Thanks

    percita, find Settings (go to Apps top right and look for the cogwheel icon) and Language and Input should be the 11th setting on the list that will appear (in my UK version it has a key with an A on it). Hit that and another lisst will appear with the language options on it, and Englih should appear in English. Click on that and you're done.

    That will work fine as long as you purchase a Network free or o2 version of the device, the sim card will need to be inserted directly and will not work with a dongle.

    It is only possible to have one document open at a time however the application will store page information on all items, meaning when you return to a document it will take you to the last page read.

    The Galaxy Tab 10.1, 3G can indeed be used as a wifi hotspot. To enable this feature please do he following, Applications - Settings - Wireless and Networks - Tethering and Portable hotspot - Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings.
