Pire achat!! N’achetez pas! Des saletés (pourritures) s’accumulent sous le tambour et sont impossibles à enlever. Les vêtements sont plus sales qu’avant. Aucune garantie pour cela, c’est un défaut de fabrication et ils ne veulent pas l’admettre. Je dois me débarrasser de la laveuse après moins de 5 ans . le problème a débuté apres 1an et empire depuis. On a tout essayé, mais rien ne règle le problème.

I purchased the Samsung washer because the price was right at the store. I did not realize the capacity until it was delivered. The features at the store caught my attention right away. The active wear, self-clean (yes!), and bedding, and the no agitator was something I really wanted among other features that were a plus. In addition, the price was low and affordable. Once the set up was finished, I washed two loads of my son's clothes in no time. I was impressed at the time it would have taken to wash with my old washer. The capacity helps wash clothes in no time, the sound is smooth. Simply put, I am happy with my first purchase of a Samsung washer.

80% moins d’eau, 300% moins de lavage. Le linge sort encore plus sale que quand il rentre. Pleins de tâche. C’est bien beau être écologique, mais 4 lavage jpense pas que c’est écologique. Extrêmement très très très très déçu de cette laveuse. Leurs sécheuse rien à dire. Peut importe le détergent que vous achetez ça ne fonctionne pas, il y a pas d’eau. Pas d’eau, pas de lavage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have had no issues with mold or smell. i perform the self clean cycle when the washer tells me to (awesome feature). the basket is deep and shorter people might need a step stool to reach the bottom. i’m 5’7” and i can reach the bottom. the touch panel was giving me issues, like not selecting the button i pushed until i did it for the umpteenth time.it did break down two weeks ago at the ripe old age of 2 years and 4 months. it was the board. thank god i had extended warranty or i would have been irate and been writing a more colorful review. just notice that the cap in the center of the barrel is broken and i need to replace now. it’s painted chrome but is plastic.

I’m in between moving wet items from tub of machine to buckets because this giant top loader is going OFF BALANCE again. I have to warn you that this machine is a disaster. I should have stayed with a front loader. 1. Forget about doing regular bath rugs; towels & bedding - it’s always going off balance (UB it reads) I have to open it & lift wet heavy things and try to move them around -doesn’t work- now lift rugs etc., into buckets and try less items; ughh 2. Can not reach the bottom to retrieve clothing, I’m of normal size; this thing is just TOO DEEP 3. Guess I’m stuck with this thing for awhile :((

J'ai acheté ma laveuse Samsung il y a 5 ans et c'est vraiment le pire achat de ma vie. Les vêtements sont plus sales après le lavage qu'avant. C'est comme si les particules de saletés ne partent pas avec l'eau de rinçage. Donc,on se retrouve avec des vêtements foncés avec plein de traces blanches. J'ai appelé le service Samsung pour ce problème et le seul conseil suggéré, c'est de laver ma laveuse!!! Donc, de faire un cycle vide à l'eau chaude. Allo l'économie d'eau!! Ces laveuse sont belles à regarder, mais ne font pas ce qu'elles devraient faire: laver les vêtements !!

i have owned this washer for about 1.5 years. i will never buy samsung again! the quality is horrendous! we had a repair guy come out and he said the part and labor to fix will be as much as it costs to buy a new washer. i'm not even gonna bother with haggling with samsung again (this time) as we had a small issue before like a week past warranty and unlike most companies i've dealt with in that situation they were sticklers about the 1 year. i suppose one could say it's our fault for not getting the extended warranty, but i don't think it's unreasonable to expect an expensive machine to last more than 1 year! if i could give zero stars to both the machine and customer care i would!

Appareil acheté fin janvier. Dès le premier cycle de lavage, on a des taches blanches sur les vêtements. Après vérifications, il paraît que ce serait des taches de savon (J'utilise alors 15 ml de savon pour laveuse HE et fais un extra-rince sans assouplisseur). Plusieurs essais plus tard, les taches persistent. Nous sommes en octobre, après 4 discussions sur le chat, la visite d'un réparateur rien ne change. Aucune solution ou option. Tenez-vous loin des appareils Samsung pour laver les vêtements! Pourtant, très satisfaite des électros dans la cuisine et de la hotte-micro-ondes.

This washer has given me way too many headaches in the short time (year and a half) I've owned it. I've had the same part on it break multiple times but Samsung continues to just replace the part rather than acknowledge that there is clearly a bigger issue going on because it should not keep breaking like this. Getting service under the warranty has been far from easy and painless, but the support representatives are always extremely friendly - it's just the company that stinks! I will say, it's great when it works....it just doesn't work nearly as often as it should.

Problème majeur survenu tôt après l'achat: les vêtements sont mal ''balancés'' dans la cuve et lorsqu'elle tourne pour l'essorage, elle s'arrête elle-même (mécanisme de protection je suppose). Donc les vêtements ne sont pas du tout essorés et lorsqu'on sélectionne ''spin'' sans rinçage, la laveuse re-mouille les vêtements, tente à nouveau de les essorer et ne réussit pas plus qu'au premier essai. Résultat: aucun essorage, vêtements imbibés chaque fois. Très mauvais produit.

My washer was bought 2 years 4 months ago but in use less than 2 years in a one person household. After a spin cycle ends, the machine refills with water and starts all over again then becomes unbalanced. It is making a grinding noise as well upon spinning. I requested info through the website to see if this problem was under warranty and waited a month to hear back only to find a message to resubmit my information. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to have it serviced within two weeks of buying it. The washer would lock but never start. The wife constantly causes the UL unbalanced load error so it just beeps incessantly. She's getting better. You can't put baskets or anything on top without scratching the glass. It's very loud ( it's been leveled by myself and the install tech and the service tech). Claims to be smart, but it's not. There are no smart home feature, none. Only an app that tries to read the error code on washer lcd display, and fails. It takes longer to point your phone camera and open the app then to Google the error code. Luckily I've looked up so many, I have them memorized. All that being said, it's been going strong for about a year straight.

there are 4 things i do not like about this washer: 1) i understand that this washer is supposed to be water and energy efficient, but i don't see how my clothes can get clean when the water level cannot completely submerge the load. often, i start a cycle to get the load wetted down and heavier and then restart with the heavier load for more water. 2) the lid lock is starting to give me trouble - it does not automatically unlock when i pause the cycle and/ turn off the washer for a cycle reset. 3) i have had this washer for 2.5 years and there is already rust forming on the exterior. 4) the water hose became stiff and brittle and has already broke in half. i believe it is going to cost a days' wages to get this fixed.

it was excited to have a new set of Samsung laundry machines. However, the washer is bad disappointedly. Though it has big capacity, the ability to balance weight of wet clothes is weak. I notice that it wash not clean at all that the motor just spins weakly, clothes above would be above, clothes at the bottom would be at the bottom. It seems that I soak my clothes in a tub with many water. Also, the washer is not quiet as advertised because of water out pump. The only good thing for it is the sleek modern design. But generally, I'm dissatisfied about it.

I recently noticed my clothing coming out of the wash with dried chunks of detergent on them. curious, I watched a few loads through the glass and even paused in the middle to look inside and just like I thought, there was barely any water in the drum. It was not enough water to soak into all of the clothing and towels and definitely not water above it all. How on earth is anything supposed to clean when it’s just spinning around with dry soap and no water? There’s no option for water level so how does it know how full it is and how much water to fill???

This washer is terrible. You will waste so much time and water waiting for it to spin. It constantly says it’s unbalanced and shoots off UR and UB codes for NO REASON! I’ve had techs come out and say it’s fine and balanced and, yet, it keeps shooting error codes. Even if you move the clothes around over and over, it still won’t spin them 98 percent of the time. It just keeps filling up with water and rinsing them over and over! After reviewing it online and seeing similar issues, Samsung should recall it, but they haven’t seemed to care thus far!

Très bonne laveuse, lire les commentaires négatifs sur certain produit me laisse croire que plusieurs font un mauvais usage de l’appareil. J’ai eu une frontage frigidaire plus de 15 ans sans problème. HE signifie moins d’eau donc moin de détergent. Plusieurs ignore cela. Cette laveuse essore et lave bien et mon linge sent bon. Je recommande ce produit sans hésitation.

we have the washer and dryer for the samsung vrt plus. the washer is by far the worst product we have ever deslth with. constant error codes especislly the ur code which we get at least every other time we do laundry. if it gets stuck in that code it can run up your water bill or drain your well before you know it. ive gotten that code 4 times in one load of laundry, and despite going and removing items and rearranging them ive still gotten the code again. it is beyond frustrating and has forced us to look into a new washer not from samsung.

this is the worst washer i have ever had. we repeatedly do the self clean option on the washer and then to top it off i need to fully dismantle the washer tub etc and do a full cleaning on it and under the rotator. there's this brown/slub or mold/mildew buildup on everything. then it finds its way onto our clothes. it disgusting. they call it scrud i think. we do not use fabric softener, and only the bare amount of washing detergent. we have never seen this before in our washing machines. samsung has been no help. we have seen some benefits to do self clean with javex bleach put into the detergent dispenser. we use the expensive cleaners in a self cleaning cycle monthly and have uped it recently to ever two weeks. do not buy this machine!

I’ve had this machine for a couple years now and live the capacity, how quiet it is, and am in general, pretty satisfied with it. Unfortunately, over the past few months I’ve run in to an issue where the machine will leak; a lot. It takes 3-4 large bath towels to soak it all up and for the life of me, I can’t figure out why. Seems to be every 30 loads or so without a common theme. It’s not over loaded, it’s not a particular cycle, and the very next time I go to run it it’s fine. I’ve lost trust in my otherwise satisfactory machine.

the washer makes me so much frustrated. during 3 years since purchase, it performs weakly and arises many issues while washing. it usually gets error unbalance rinsing "ur" and error "dc", which makes the washer repeats the current process and waste more water. rinse weakly- not effect water on top much. normal washing mode fills insufficient water to soak all clothes in the tub...i trusted the brand to buy but now have a changing mind about it, about the product: not recommended product or a brand to be considered to buy a washer

Wonderful tub. It reminds me of the old days with the deep tub and washboard looking sides. :-) I really like the feature of the pause button, because I like to add my bleach manually after the tub fills up with water. Oh and the smartphone connection for diagnostic issues. I only wish I could connect my iphone to it so I can tell how close my clothes are to be done washing. But, instead the washer has a timer on it; and it references how long your clothes will take to wash-so I set my timer on my iphone as well. Bingo done !

This machine has ruined many of my clothes and sheets. $1000 estimated. Stay away. There is a tremendous amount of lint and mold build up that eventually takes over the machine. flakes and sludge looking things ending up on my clothes and in the tub for about 3 years now. I thought it was an old piece of paper that got stuck somewhere and has been coming off in pieces over time. This morning my clothes were cover more than ever before so I did some research and found out this is an ongoing issue and that it's MOLD.

We have had our set for four months. I was unsure what to expect after reading the disparity of reports, but have other Samsung appliances and took the plunge. We are very satisfied. If you are expecting the same water fill, agitation etc of your nonHE washer, you should know this will seem different. It is not worse, just different. I am also a nurse, have grandkids, a dog, a yard, a garden, love to craft and cook. I have had no problems with the washer and feeling like stains were removed or the clothes cleaned. If I have blood on something or a stain I am concerned about, i use a detergent booster or pretreat, just as I have always done. I appreciate the water saving features and do not feel it compromises cleaning ability. It IS different. But change can be good.

I like my new Samsung but I need a hotline to ask some questions when using it. So far if I use normal cycle and more detergent my laundry comes clean. I washed a blanket on quick wash and didn't clean it. I wiped the stains out after washed. The deodorant doesn't come out of some of my husbands and sons shirts. So I will try the normal cycle for them . So a hot line would be nice. I called a 1800 number but it's fir repairs. I also heard knocking when it wasn't on high spin won't use that again.

going on 4 years with the washer, the only issue we've ever had is that the dispenser tray slide broke - it was user error, however samsung could improve by making those weak points stronger. otherwise, our washer has been 100% reliable, with no odors. i do wish they had a soak and spin only option though.... one thing i do recommend for my fellow shorties, purchase a sturdy block of wood or small step; i'm 5'5" and have to stand on my tippy-toes to reach the clothes stuck on the bottom, lol.

so far i have been having a good experience with this unit, and it also helps that it has a self clean option that helps keep the unit mold free so long as you follow the directions on how to use the unit, one time the unit started to get a small smell to it i used the self clean and it smells good as new, only complaint i have on the unit is when washing pillows and/or comforters it tends to put the unit off balance causing the unit to turn off and you have to retry to balance the load.

I wanted to have the feature of being able to wash large items like comforters. So I put a load in it and it washed it so that when it was ready to spin, the contents were all lopsided. The machine would stop and show an error message. I tried to even the load out inside the washer which was time consuming because the machine took about 3 minutes before it would start the spin cycle again. I stood in front of the washer waiting to see if it would work. Well on the 6th try it finally did.

We have had this washer dryer combo for just over a year now and have had multiple issues with this washing machine building up mold quickly. We always leave the top of the washer open after use to air out, but the agitator plate within the drum is poorly designed. I constantly have to clean out the mold that builds up within the plate. We use the affresh cleaning tablets as well and this doesn’t help one bit. I took apart the agitator plate and found a large amount mild build up between the the plastic piece and aluminum metal that covers the plastic. This is definitely not acceptable and unwanted. Mold pieces break off and end up on our clothes. The washing machine develops a terrible smell and your clothes will get mold in it. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone unless Samsung finds a solution.

Worst, most expensive piece of junk I've ever bought!!! Have had it a little over a year. If you don't use the heavy duty, heavy soil cycle it looks like it's never been washed. And Lord help you if you do have dirt on them, good luck with that! If you live in the city and never encounter and soil or whatever, this could be the machine for you. I live on a farm ( yes I remove the excess crud before washing) and we get dirty. My husband is a lineman, and does encounter messy jobs. It won't even remove simple things! I presoak, etc. My sister-in-law bought the same one, (lives in town) and has the same problems. It now takes me a day to wash a normal load of clothes because of the errors always popping up. Been listening to the stupid error digging on and off for 2 hours now. This machine is pathetic!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Trust me

We've had this washer for over a year an I hate it more everyday, it will not fill with the correct amount of water for each load....for example I put a complete set of queen size sheets including pillowcases the water doesn't even cover them, so you know they are not getting clean! i bought this matching washer and dryer 2 weeks ago, ad the dryer won't even get hot. i paid 1700 dollars at home depot just to go spend 50.00 at a laundry mat. i called home depot and they directed me to samsung. i did that, and they said it would be 48-72 hours to get in touch with me for a service call. what a joke. its been 4 days now. this is my first brand new washer and dryer i have ever purchased, and its a nightmare.

I bought this washer in Oct 2018. The first one I had was great lasted us 12 years and is why we bought the same model. This machine has a pump problem -will not remove the water from the load. We can only use half or less of a load. Towels are still wet causing our dryer to work twice as long to dry. Still there is dampness in Jeans. So We are not happy with this discovery. We will see if SamSung can correct the problem.

We've had this washer for about 2 years. It is to deep for me to reach the clothes in the bottom so I have to use a stool. It has rusted around the top. It doesn't allow much water into the machine...allows just enough to cover the clothes. Although 5 cu it will not wash large items. My old washer wasn't this big and I could wash my comforter and throw rugs and other items of that size but with this washer it's not possible. Quite often we have problems with the spin cycle where the clothes get lopsided and it won't spin. It just recently refused to spin with our 2 twin sheets and 1 king top sheet!!! For a machine that is 5 cu ft you'd think that size of a load would be no problem, but it seems to be. Headed out to look for a new washer and this time we'll go with the Maytag that seems to have a very good reputation for cleaning, large loads and spinning!!

I bought this washer 1-2 months ago, at first it wasn't washing good, but I thought it was because I didn't know how to use it, so I gave myself time to learn how it works. Weeks past, it still wasn't working. All my clothes would come out soaking wet.. I HATED IT... best believe I returned it and got myself a better washer... don't let the name fool you.. Only because its "Samsung" doesn't mean it works all that great.

I got this washer to replace the recalled one. It does a mediocre job. Especially not good with blankets or large loads, gets off balance easily despite careful placement of clothes. My biggest complaint is the NOISE of the machine. Terrible! Even though it claims the technology makes it quiet, it's the loudest washer I've ever had. Will probably never buy Samsung washer again but love my Samsung cell phone lol!

Bought washer and dryer five years ago. After about three years the washing machine started to rust in various spots. I called at the time and they said there was nothing they could do because the warranty was up. It’s continue to rust and pretty soon I’m sure it will be affecting the clothes. I no longer run it on a hot cycle because that seems to escalate the rusting and chipped paint.

I was concerned about it not having an agitator however very dirty clothes are cleaned to like new. Very quiet and many features to fit any type or size of load. Only concern is it is a deep reach to the bottom of washer. But that was easily overcome with a grabber. I would purchase again.

i had it for a couple months now. constantly have to go and move the clothes. my clothes are not getting washed properly. i still had baby vomit not stains vomit on the clothes. code keeps coming up then more warer wasted. i wish i wouldve becer bought . should’ve went with my gut( machine with agitator) this bs is a gimic!!!

Our Samsung washer is exceeding our expectations. Clothes come out clean, the machine cycles are not too noisy so e can go about our day. Huge capacity makes for less loads too. Would recommend this washer for sure! The tub is a bit deep so my wife (at 4'11") needs a footstool to retrieve the clothes after the wash is done.

I am happy how well the machine works and that it is low maintenance. Since it holds so much, the tub is pretty deep and a step stool may make it easier to get all of the items out for those who are vertically challenged.

purchased this washer and have several issues, including mold/mildew build up in the agitator, unbalanced codes frequently. now it wont finish a load, adds water all the way to the top and keeps throwing codes. called for repair (warped drum) and the fix is more than the original cost of the washer. buyer beware.

Horrible product have had the washer for less than 3 years and have had both but problems. Pump has gone out, it sucked up a sock and flooded my house and it rusted so bad that I’ve started to notice rust stains on my clothes! A lemon. The absolute worst. This is a bad design, even if you're lucky and it doesn't break, it *will* grow mild and/or mildew. Cleaning it is a pain. The tablets/powder don't get it clean all the way. Avoid at all costs. I wouldn't accept this to use if someone paid me to take one off their hands.

Washing machine is rusting like a lot of other reviewers. Was great until it wasn't. Very unsightly for a washing machine that is only a few years old. Never even put bleach in the dispenser is rusting around. Hopefully they'll recall since its a wide spread problem.

Do not buy. Constant error codes. Extremely long cycles. Sometimes I pull clothes out of the washer after a completed cycle, & it's as if they weren't cleaned @ all. I usually use about 3x the recommended amount of detergent to compensate. Unbelievably disappointed.

I have had this washing machine less than a month, and the locking mechanism is broken. I have to wait a week for a repairman to come from out of state to fix it. I can't get my wet laundry out because there isn't a way to manually unlock it and open the lid.

i bought this washer brand new and it is less than 2 years old and already the clutch on drum is broken. the tech who came to inspect the washer said it will cost almost as much to fix the washer as buying a new one and not worth it. very disappointed.

Clothes come out stained all the time, the drum move so slow that the clothes do not get moved around at all, the drum twist so slow. 95% of the time I get a UR code and something that should have only taken 35 minutes turns into 2-3 hours long. Awful

Does not clean clothes well at all. When it senses the size of the load it rarely uses enough water to clean the clothes. Leaves black streaks on my white clothes. Often have to stop the load and re disperse load due to being off balance.

Worst washer I have ever owned. Unless it’s a small load it takes 3 to 4 times more time to wash as is indicated. It takes FOREVER to wash 3 to 4 sheets! I am 5’ 2” and I can not reach the bottom of this very deep machine.

We replaced another brand front-load steam washer which had problems after only 9 yrs. This Samsung has a huge capacity to handle bedspreads and comforters as well as large loads. The water saving feature is also a huge plus.

This is a nice washer, but two days after I had it installed, I had to move it. While pushing it back into position, my hand put a big dent in the right side of the machine. Very flimsy not reinforced sheet metal.
