Then I saw the Samsung Health app updates and all the features that were going to be included on the new watches. Once they were unpacked, I did some additional reading. Ultimately, I chose the new Ultra 2. So far, the features are great. I have been wanting something like this for a long time. Not only does the watch integrate welll with the Health app, it is great with everything else also. I connected my buds, downloaded my favorite music app and was streaming music with my phone nowhere in range. I'm glad I waited. I'm looking forward to using it on some upcoming adventures.

                                        The watch works great. It has many features that are always improving. Great for working out and keeping track. Pretty accurate. The battery will get you through the day. If you're out banging around I have found they are pretty tough. However, (and this is a big one) I absolutely hate the big bulky ugly design of the watch itself. The last 2 years, the 8 & now the 9, are HIDEOUS. The classic (which I believe is even discontinued now) looks like a ladies watch which doesn't work well for men. As much as I love Samsung, these watches are a complete eye soar IMO. I've had every single watch, I just pray they redesign the watch in 2027 or I'll be ending that streak

There was finally enough change to make the move worthwhile. The feature that made me choose to upgrade was the dive certification. While I don't scuba, I do snorkel, and sometimes move my arms underwater quickly enough to worry about water ingress. I also like the lower profile of the case, it fits more naturally on my wrist. The one thing I found that doesn't work reliably is the raise to wake activation of Bixby/Gemini. It will show that it's listening for one second, then turn off. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future update. Overall, I'm happy with the Ultra 2.

I've owned all model of galaxy watches since the watch 3, (with the exception of the 4) but never the "ultra." Now I got the opportunity to use one that boasts new hardware upgrades. I use the watch for both personal and business and so far it fits the bill. One of the only drawbacks, (minor as it is) is the charging speed. Using the fast charger puck only charges fast if using my 45 watt block. It is much like phones, still minor nonetheless. But everything else is pretty awesome! Watch lasted about 3 days on single full charge. Not bad. 👍

I was excited when I read they were releasing the Ultra2 under the promise of a bigger battery, thinner design, and brighter display. I chose to pre-order and upgrade to the Ultra2. After wearing it for about a week, I found that I really like the thinner body and the screen. The watch itself seems lighter and fits my wrist nicely. The screen is great even in sunny conditions. I have not noticed a big difference with the increased battery size just yet, but I am still fine tuning settings and apps. So far I am really enjoying the upgrade.

But the fact that this ultra 2 has more battery capacity (among other things) is already an appealing feature for me. That is the main reason why I chose to upgrade. This week that I spent with it i discovered many other new features that appear to be very helpful health wise and training wise as I work out every day. To summarize I would say that I am very happy with the device!

I have been a fan on the galaxy watch series since they came out and this one is great! It supports my active life style. It tracks my exercises and daily activity. My old Galaxy 5 Pro is getting old and tired and I wanted a watch that could inspire me to keep up. I need the health tracking and coaching, in a screen size I can easily see. I have my own business (just me) and it is easy to communicate by phone or text with my customers if I can't get to my phone quickly. Also, the speakers aren't bad at all! My only concern is that this watch is indeed heavy, so be prepared for that. But get a flexible watch band and do like I'm doing.... switching arms occasionally to get used to it. Love it, love it, love it!

The new chip is a beast on this Watch. I thought the bigger battery would at least last 3 and 1/2 days, but it's lasting 2 days and 14 hours kinda like my Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. Hopefully it gets better with more usage. It fits flatter on my wrist which makes it much more comfortable. Keep up the good work. I wish Samsung would listen to their day one customers and bring back S Pen support to the Galaxy Z Fold 9 next year so I can finally upgrade from my Z Fold 6. I have the Watch Ultra 2 in Titanium Silver. Please don't take this color away. Can't wait to see what the next Watch Ultra will be like 👍🏿.

I guess I enjoy keeping up with the Joneses, i.e. new watch hardware features. In 2025, I decided again to trade-in my Samsung watch pro 5 for the new fancy Samsung watch ultra. I was planning on keeping this watch ultra but Samsung decided to up the game with a 800 mah battery and snapdragon processor on the new Samsung ultra 2. One of the things I love the most right away is the battery life. I can go a few days before I need to recharge. The other thing that is great is the clarity of the new display in any type of light it is easy to read and see clearly. Even though the size of the watch it's bigger than my previous one it doesn't feel like a huge difference or weight on my wrist. No diving into a lot of the health features but so far I can tell that this watch was very well made and should last me a long time.

I use the watch ultra for sleep tracking, about 3 hours and 40 minutes a day for fitness tracking. The watch has so far lasted 3 days on a charge with always on display turned off and power savings mode turned on. I like how light the watch feels. I do not notice it at night when I sleep. I chose the Watch Ultra 2 as my very first smart watch and I'm so happy that I did. I've not had it long, but on the new health journey I've started, the metrics its able to give me is amazing. I'm also a recreational scuba diver so having the ability to use it as a dive comp is amazing! I can't wait to put it to the test with all its capabilities. So far it's super comfortable to wear. I always choose Galaxy watches first because they are styled nice, look like a real time piece. Then also for the Workout functions. I purchased the Ultra 2 because my 1 year old ultra could not record my Pool laps correctly no matter what I did. The new one was tried out and works normal. I also notice a difference in the clarity from the glass. The app is confusing to operate more so on the Ultra 2 .liked the app on my phone better with my last Ultra. All and all still enjoy the watch and I will continue to be loyal. Keep improving!!

I've heard great things about the first ultra so I really wanted an upgrade from the standard galaxy watch 7 and opted for the ultra watch 2 this time around. So far so good! I will be adding the phone line to this one as well as all my previous watches were just bluetooth. This watch has great features and pairs well with the wearable app and the new galaxy buds 4 pro I ordered as well. Ik excited for the samsung glasses as well as I currently have the rayban meta, however as good as they are I wana be able to consolidate all to the samsung environment.

The setup was quick and easy, transfered all my settings from my old watch, and i can add a mobile data plan easy on it later if i want to. The wristband is nice i got the travel one. The display is clearer and a higher resolution and so far after 3 hours only lost 3% of the battery with a live wallpaper and always on display active, but i havent tested out many features yet or streamed music from it. So far the watch is comfy and faster responding than my old watch looking forward to using daily.

Recently the battery was draining too fast and the watch slowed down so I decided to get a new one and why not the best one coming out. I got the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 today and have been absolutely loving it. The battery is long, the watch reacts very quickly, and with the new updates to Wear OS, a lot of features and improvements have been added. The only things I would say is that I wish there were a first party anti glare screen protector and case that Samsung would sell. I know this smartwatch does not need it, but I would like it just for comfortability.

Battery is much better but still use the battery saver, last about 1 day more depending on how much you use it also but I Only have 1 Complaint & that's the fabric watch band, it leaves marks on your wrist due to the band being ridgive & if I would have known that, I would have chose a different band but I wanted fabric & not rubber but I would have changed that if I knew it was Ridgive & not just Smooth so watch out for the fabric band!!!!

Subtle changes to the buttons are noticeable, better protection from accidental touch while wearing gloves or using hiking poles and have a premium feel when using. Only wish for future is to add emergency sattilite connection

Screens aren't supposed to fold, they are supposed to be flat. I hated the phone after 2 days. I do split screen so much and can type on the unfolded screen easier than the front screen. This phone wasn't a slab phone. The subtle design changes are refined and speak to a product that has found a firm place in the premium smartwatch market. Of course, the upgrades to the hardware go without comment! I chose the Titanium Gray version this time as opposed to my old Titanium Silver Ultra. It was a tough choice because both options have their merits. The Titanium Gray paired with a black Peakform band, though, is just absolutely sublime. I love Samsung products and am so excited to be sporting my new Ultra2--two days before the official release, even! :-)

The health reader seems to be working more accurately. Highly recommend; it looks great. Definitely a little lighter on the hand. I was worried at first I wouldn't like the numbers over the orange ticks, but it actually looks really good. The haptic feedback on the motor is even better. Overall, it's a great improvement to what was already an amazing watch. I look forward to using it. As always samsung doesn't let me down. So far, the watch has meet and/or exceeded my expectations. The battery life is definitely better. And I like all the new watch faces that can show me several 'complications' all at the same time. Being 72 years old, I mainly like to monitor my heart rate and blood oxygen. I also have it paired to my cell phone's number and use it for the 'hard fall' alert it has. I feel safe knowing that it can call out on its own, and notify my kids and the sheriff. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase ... especially the $250 trade-in.

I also wanted to try the running coach, I wish it came with more training options for running. It would be helpful to have options from trainers who have a number of running training series that you could choose from based on your level and type of race you are looking to do. I chose to use this watch over my Garmin because of the integration with my Galaxy phone. Which the smart watch aspect of the Ultra 2 is amazing. I also really like the sleep tracking, esp the snoring recorder. Over all I have no complaints.

Little did I know there are a huge amount of health monitoring upgrades here as well. The antioxidant monitor as well as the blood pressure monitor is a very cool feature. The blood pressure monitor correlates really well when properly calibrated. The new bands are also awesome, I love the olive green that came with mine. The device itself is noticeably smaller and more comfortable to wear throughout the day. Overall a great upgrade to the original ultra!

The styling changes between the Ultra and Ultra 2 are subtle, so I wasn't sure I would upgrade after it was introduced at the Unpacked event. Once I looked at the incentives they offered I chose to give it a go and I'm happy I did. It came with One UI 9.0 Watch and a bevy of additional metrics for tracking fitness. The screen is also noticeably brighter and snappier and the battery lasts much longer than it did on my Ultra. As I learn to use some of the other features I'm sure it's utility and usefulness will only continue to improve.

The increased battery life gives it true two-day+ use, while also allowing you to take advantage of extra health monitoring features without sacrificing overall battery life in the process. The biggest upgrade for me though, and why I chose it, was for the slimmer & lighter build of the watch coupled with the redesigned bands. They substantially improve the comfort and ergonomics of the watch, especially if you're wearing it all day or night and on the move!

They just burned through way too fast, sometimes they wouldn't last a day. So after years of wearing my classic 5, it was finally starting to die on me, so I was waiting for a few months until the galaxy ultra 2 watch launched as the features seemed to be very similar to the old classic one. They are a bit bulky for a woman, but I am willing to compromise that for extra battery life. I am glad I chose this watch, as it's been 2 days and it barely scrapped half the battery on it.

OMG, there are so many features and options, it's going to take awhile to learn everything, but it is absolutely magnificent. It is amazing how comfortable. The recessed face proves plenty of protection for the already durable face. Money well spent. I did a few side by side comparences and it is accurate on walks, hikes and while biking. The GPS is spot-on.

I was correct in that assumption. The Ultra 2 is snappy, the screen just slightly larger (confirmed by replacing the screen protector with the one I originally used on the Ultra 1, and overall is just more refined. Happy purchaser, and a continual upgrade within the Galaxy line up. I'm pairing this watch along with the Buds 4 Pro, and also a S25U/ Fold 8 when it shows up. The watch is a cleaner, more refined, upgrade from the original. Worth the purchase and the price I paid. Thanks Samsung!

My time with the Watch Ultra 2 has been amazing. The battery life is unbelievable. I went 4 and a half days on a charge. The screen is amazing so much brighter. I am a low vision person and I have been able to see the screen at any point of the day. With the new Snapdragon Wear Elite chip it is so much smoother moving between apps and responsive. Also having Gemini on my wrist not having to take my phone out of my pocket amazing. What else can I say Samsung knocked it out of the park with the Watch Ultra 2.

I chose the Galaxy Ultra 2 as an upgrade because I wanted all that, but better 😊 The larger battery capacity has been incredible (easily 2x the duration of the 2026 model), and the upgrade experience was so seamless as to be a non-event. The migration of my settings, prefs, apps, etc. to the new Ultra 2 couldn't have been smoother. Even the move of my mobile plan from the old watch to the new Ultra 2 was literally a click-once process handled with my mobile provider entirely by the migration experience! I chose the Ultra 2 for it health tracking features, and have been nothing but pleased with my choice; well recommended!

                                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in awe at how good my new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is! I have had many Galaxy Watch models over the years but this one is really fantastic. The 5000 nits brightness is incredible in bright sunlight and the battery life seems to have improved dramatically. I also just discovered it now has blood pressure measuring in the USA which I didn't expect. Another surprising feature is the slimmer cross profile that makes it feel less bulky from the original. At first I was dubious that the Ultra 2 had enough updates and was a significant enough of an upgrade to move from my original Ultra but I'm very glad I chose to do the upgrade to the Ultra 2 and have no regrets having done so. Good job Samsung! (also great job on my Z TriFold!!)

I held onto my original watch ultra because I promised my wife I wouldn't upgrade every device every new model year. I chose to get the ultra watch 2 because of the great new battery and the awesome trade in value i received. The new watch band is great more comfortable than the original, and the screen is nice and bright. I am looking forward to learning more of the new features soon.

                                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the title " one pair isn't enough" I have 2 pair of the pro. A work set and a home set. I chose the buds 4 pro because of the great sound and I can leave my phone and walk all around the shop and not lose connection. I never get complaints about not being heard and they are comfortable for long periods of time. The issue the buds 3 pro had of one buds not charging has been fixed. On the 4 pros I haven't had any issues with charging the buds. They are great for everyday use.

After comparing the two, this version is noticeably lighter, which made an immediate difference in comfort. I'm always impressed with the improvements they make with each version. I choose to keep upgrading because Samsung keeps innovating. I love my watch and all the new features this time around. The better water protection is one of the biggest improvements. It's IP69K this time around, so I can swim without worry. Better battery life was a must from the Watch Ultra. It even has fast charging now. I'm still finding new ways to use the watch so I can make the most of my investment.

When I saw the Ultra 2 coming out I had to have it. It looks and feels great on wrist. I you didn't get the original Ultra you should definitely get the Ultra 2. Pack with features from health tracking to phone and text. I really love love the compass dont judge me. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The trade in promotion really made it a no brainer.

The larger battery, bigger screen and upgraded processor are evident with every use. My watch lasts like 4 days of use without needing to be charged. That's a real game changer to me.                                         [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to buy this watch for two reasons, and I can say I more than love the watch. 1. Its the 2nd version of the Ultra series (I know there was a Watch Ultra 2025), but this being the 2nd (or I guess 3rd) model means Samsung has had time to perfect design and hardware. The watch feels premium and it is. The watch looks beautiful and simple. 2. Samsung has added new features such as a dive depth of upto 40 meters (130 or so ft) which makes swimming, even in an ocean, not worry me of breaking my watch. Anyway. If you can snag a good trade-in discount on the watch and want an Ultra, get it. If your an active person, or want something to tempt you into being more active (my reason for buying this watch), get it.

                                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a previous owner of the watch ultra, I'm pleasantly surprised by the number of little improvements that I have noticed in the time since getting the watch ultra 2. The screen is ever so slightly larger with thinner bezels that are shallower which makes the circular scrolling around the screen a lot easier to perform. The battery life is noticeably longer and I can easily get through multiple days without having to care about the charger. The watch seems to sit a little flatter to my arm which is in nice improvement as someone who wears it during exercise. The screen has a very large brightness range, and is the easiest time I've ever had looking at a smart watch outside. All in all I'm very satisfied!

I wanted to take advantage of all the new health features and totally awestruck with the accuracy when I compare other devices readings to my Samsung Watch! EKG and blood pressure readings were spot on when compared to a Kardia mobile and analog blood pressure cuff. Im looking forward to trying the other available apps and readings with the new upgrade (sleep apnea, vitals, etc. Highly recommended so far!

I workout and I do not like taking my phone with me, so having double storage means double the music! Screen is nice and bright, much brighter than the 2025 model and its faster! I seem to have a little more real estate with the Ultra2. I've got it paired with my S25 Ultra which is a great combo. The Wearable app allows me to do so much and its a much cleaner look with the newer UI as well. Happy! Thank again, Samsung for your amazing products!

This year's ultra tube is a beautiful watch. The watch face with the numbers on the dials.Instead of the hashes is a wonderful upgrade to the face. I think samsung for the fact that I can still use the same watch bads that I got last year. How also really like the buttons. I use my watch for alarms and tracking my health. I had the ultra and thought the ultra2 will have better battery life and more accurate heart rate. This turned out not to be the case. Battery life is actually a little worse and heart rate monitor is about the same. I have always been satisfied with the galaxy watches but I always believed they can be perfect if they had a better heart rate sensor, especially for sleep monitoring. I am still waiting.
