Funktionen

* PCI-SIG® D8-Spezifikation: 8,8 mm.

* PCI-SIG® D8-Spezifikation: 8,8 mm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been pretty reliable thus far. One thing that holds back some devices is memory that can't keep up wit the CPU, so for me I wanted something that was high quality and was also compatible. The thermals and throughput help to lower the latency immensely, so that's a big plus. Overall I'd buy it again if I ever needed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great upgrade for my PS5. Installation was easy, and the pre-attached heatsink fit the console's M.2 slot with no issues. The PS5 recognized it right away, and it passed the storage speed check with no problem. Load times are noticeably faster, and game installs and transfers go quickly. Thermals are solid, and I haven't seen slowdowns even during long play sessions. Performance is consistent, and Samsung's endurance rating gives me confidence it will last. Highly recommend for anyone expanding PS5 storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice option to pick for the price. Cooling works as I've never gotten any slow downs in speed so far. I also use it as my boot drive and it would always get me booted to the home screen in a second or less. Loads demanding games quite well. One thing is that it took mr 3 months to find out that there was software for the ssd that I could use to customize the led on the heat sink and make sure my ssd is up to date.

The boot times has been faster (with some tinkering) than the normal HDD I had been accustomed to using. No overheating issues with long usage and no latency as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just upgraded my rig with the Samsung 990 4TB NVMe, and wow, this thing is FAST! 🚀 My game load times have practically vanished, and transferring massive files feels like I'm blinking. It's definitely a game-changer for anyone who deals with large amounts of data or wants peak performance. The sheer speed is exhilarating, making my whole system feel snappier than ever. I'm loving the extra space too, no more deleting old projects! If you're looking for a top-tier SSD, this one is seriously worth considering. #NVMe #SSD #TechUpgrade #GamerLife #PCBuild

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Samsung 990 PRO 2TB with Heatsink in my PS5 and it’s been great. Setup was quick, it fits perfectly, and performance is exactly what you want—fast load times and smooth gameplay with no overheating. The extra space is a huge plus, and the endurance gives real peace of mind. It handles constant installs, updates, and game transfers without any issues. Simple, fast, and reliable. Easy recommendation for PS5 storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am super happy with the Samsung NVMe drives. The speed is incredible. It is super reliable, next to no latency, & the temperature stays within optimal operating temps. Nothing speeds up a computer quite like a quality drive like these. I've had them for some years now and have had no issues at all. I loved it so much that I bought a 2nd one to put into my PlayStation 5, and it works flawlessly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well priced when I got it, very fast, very reliable and long lasting of course it has good storage, I love the features in the software. Only complaints are that there is less support for the amd platfrom and the heatsink has an untoggleable red led which is a nuisance for me but may not matter to others. As far as thermals, this one comes with its own heatsink but id rather have one than not, its got a very strong style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using the 2TB 990 PRO with the heatsink installed, I’ve spent a lot of time recently tweaking my settings and hardware to get the smoothest experience possible for my games, and swapping to the Samsung 990 PRO was the best decision I’ve made for my rig. The difference in load times is honestly night and day—I’m getting into matches faster than ever, and I’ve had zero issues with stuttering or lag, even during long gaming sessions. I was also really impressed by how well it handles heat; my system stays stable and cool even when I’m pushing it hard. It’s been rock-solid reliable, which is exactly what I need!! If you're on the fence about upgrading your storage, DO IT!!. It’s a game-changer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Consistency When I first started using the 990 Pro, what I noticed was how stable it felt over time. I moved large game files, edited videos, and copied backups, and the speed didn’t randomly drop in a way I’ve seen with older SSDs. It just felt predictable, which made me trust it more for daily work. Efficiency What surprised me was how little it seemed to “struggle” under load. I could download, unzip, and run apps at the same time without feeling like the system was slowing down. It made my PC feel more responsive overall, especially when multitasking heavy tasks. Latency Opening games and large applications felt almost instant. I didn’t sit there waiting for loading screens like I used to with older SSDs. Even small actions like searching through files or launching editing software felt snappier, like the system was reacting immediately to what I clicked. Thermals I was a bit worried about heat at first, especially during long file transfers. In real use, it does warm up under heavy loads, but it never felt like it was throttling in a way I could notice. With decent airflow, it stayed controlled and stable. Throughput This is where I felt the biggest improvement. Large file transfers, especially moving game installs or editing 4K video files, were extremely fast. What used to take several minutes now felt cut down significantly, and I found myself finishing tasks faster than expected without waiting around. Overall experience Using the Samsung 990 Pro made my system feel less like individual parts working together and more like everything was unified and fast. It didn’t just improve benchmarks for me, it changed how I interact with my PC because I stopped thinking about storage delays altogether.

Samsung magician bench tests show speeds of 7600mbps on both read and write but true tests show much less. The ssd wouldnt hit anything over 700mbps. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe with Heatsink for my PS5 and it has been excellent! I got it back in December 2024 and it hasn't given me a single issue. I got it with the Heatsink because I already knew it was going to see a lot of use, I play frequently and have a lot of games. Currently sitting at over 80% capacity used and it still performs efficiently. It doesn't throttle or slow down performance, even on long play sessions. Speed and performance have been consistently excellent. On initial setup, the speed test showed just under 6,600MB/s speeds for my PS5. I've been playing games as demanding as cyberpunk or elden ring and they all play as if they were installed internally, no issues whatsoever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great SSD! The speeds are blazing fast so you get short loading times in games ans also if you're moving big file sizes. It will work with any modern CPU from the last few years as well, which is a good thing! You have pretty good storage size options depending on your budget and needs as well! The heatsink does a great job at keeping it cool even under demanding tasks! And the new Samsung magician app has an easy to use interface where you can update the firmware, check the health and also the temps of the SSD! All in all it's a great product!
Ich empfehle dieses Produkt.
