I've had others fail and replaced them with various Samsung ssd's throughout the years and there's always been a performance improvement after replacing other brands with Samsung. They make quality storage, read write for intensive large throughput tasks I always see consistent r/w speeds and low latency compared to other brands or factory installed drives and I don't see any issues with long usage periods causing anything to slow down or become unstable.

Boot times dropped from over a minute to under ten seconds, and overall system responsiveness is super snappy. Using Samsung’s Data Migration software made cloning my old drive completely painless—took about 15 minutes with zero errors. It consistently maxes out standard SATA III speeds (~560 MB/s read) and runs nice and cool under load. If you're looking for a reliable, top-tier 2.5-inch drive to revive a PC or add dependable storage, this is worth every penny.

Have 5 cameras recording 24/7 and without fail I can go back and review while still recording with no hiccups or issues. Low latency helps with quick video reviewing and while I try to keep temperatures down it will get warm yet has the endurance to keep going. 1 year 3 month strong. Thanks Samsung for great products.
