Because of its Ultra-WQHD resolution, the image clarity is excellent; all documents, spreadsheets and movies appear sharp and in great detail. The HDR10 feature gives wonderful colour reproduction and the brightness level is well balanced. It delivers vivid pictures with good contrast, even after long periods of work. What is most noticeable is the combination of a 100Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync™ technology; scrolling is smooth, gaming is responsive with only minimal screen tearing, and multitasking on the ultra-wide display is simple. Each movement on the screen is fluid and accurate. This monitor has likewise increased both my productivity and my enjoyment. Because of its big screen I am able to have several windows open at the same time without feeling cramped. The immersive display also makes films and games more engaging. The ViewFinity S50GC offers an excellent balance of clarity, brightness, responsiveness, and comfort and has surpassed my expectations, making it one of the best technological investments I've ever made; I would advise anyone who is looking for a premium ultra-wide monitor to go for it.

I have no complaints it pairs with my Mac I am yet to use the hdpi port but the HDMI works good anyway. The picture the picture the picture in picture mode is also really helpful. Resolution, Contrast, and Black Levels With Ultra-WQHD (3440 × 1440) resolution and a VA panel, the monitor provides high contrast and deeper blacks than IPS, offering a comfortable viewing experience in dark scenes. 3. Good Value for the Price Features like high refresh rate (100Hz placeholder), FreeSync, and HDR10 are all included, making it a solid value option. 4. Solid Basics: Viewing Angles & Design With 178° viewing angles, a matte anti-glare coating, and slim bezels, it reduces distractions from the surrounding environment. Cons 1. Response Time While 5ms GtG is decent, fast transitions—especially from dark to bright scenes in games or action content—can show noticeable ghosting. 2. Brightness Limitations The brightness is adequate for normal indoor use, but in bright environments or direct sunlight, visibility can be reduced. 3. It displays all the work stuff - web apps, spreadsheets, PPT, PDFs, and so on. It offers room for lots of windows, way more than my old 27" display. Setting up thus monitor was super simple, and the menu button is also very simple and easy to navigate. The pi ture quality is amazing and works great for videos! All 3 tabs are sized and fits perfectly to operate seemlessly. The curved screen does away with the need for 2 or 3 separate monitors and allows for just 1 monitor taking the same space and less wires. I would definitely get more of these monitors when needed.

I liked this monitor so much that I ended up buy a second one just a month later. I've been using 3 24inch monitors for over a decade and this was a massive upgrade. PiP feature was a really nice surprise as well! A few months later and both monitor displays have died almost back to back. 4.5/5 if they didn't suddenly die, I've never had issues with my previous monitors over a 10 year span. Hoping the warranty can resolve this.

At first, I was about to return it, but I finally got it all set-up to accurate colors (I am a professional video/photographer) Accuracy is critical. Most people without experience will probably just plug it in and use it out-of-the-box. It was not good. But, now, after adjusting it, I got it to look excellent. And, for the discounted price you can find it online, I would call it a great deal.

I heard a few bad things and a few good things, I didn't really know what to think. It has a better picture quality than expected, and, it was a nice surprise that it came with HDMI and DisplayPort cables, I thought I was going to have to buy some. That's pretty sweet. I bought it for school and casual scrolling on the internet, I'm no gamer or anything so I don't need the extra high refresh 😅

This monitor spec wise met all the criteria that I needed and I was excited to try it out. Specifically, I wanted quality monitor that had PIP and PBP. Upon receiving the monitor, I was happy with the packaging. It was easy to set up, and I appreciated the plastic protective coating that covered the entirety of the screen. Monitor was already updated to the latest firmware and software version. I have it currently on default settings, which is nice And I’m sure with a little tinkering. I can get it even better to my liking. Definitely better than having two monitors.

Firstly, I want to mention that purchasing the 34” Viewfinity S5 through samsung was both exciting and a breeze. This is because I was able to learn a lot about all the specs of this monitor and compare it to other models. Since it was my first time ever purchasing a monitor, I was delighted to receive the package prior to the estimated delivery date. Upon using the monitor, I am ecstatic to note that I am able to run multiple applications and use the split screen mode without any comprise from its WQHD resolution. Initially , I thought that having a 34” monitor might be too big for my small table; however, the screen sits right with my setup. In fact, I value the width of the screen as it gives me a lot of working space, especially when used for creatives. Furthermore, its response time of 100hz is able to maximize the speed of my architecture applications without delay. Moreover, I do want to mention that the design of the monitor itself is very sleek and gives a very professional look. In conclusion, I am very happy and satisfied with both the purchase process and the overall features, resolution, and design of the monitor.

I had a matrix HDMI switch to easily switch between devices. When a power surge damaged them, I instead went for this 34" ultra wide. I love it! The higher resolution gives me more screen real estate than the two monitors I had before, and there's no seam in the middle! I don't need extra equipment to switch devices - the inputs automatically switch for me. The picture-in-picture is handy, and I can also put multiple inputs side by side just as I could with two monitors. The one large screen looks great on my desk, and the picture quality exceeds my expectations. I should've bought this monitor a long time ago!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor for multiple things. I mainly purchased it for gaming but I have 3 girls ages 3, 2, and 1. We can't watch all 3 of them at all times so we installed cameras in every room. Since I can only play games on weekends when the kids are sleeping it's better used for video feed. This monitor is theost amazingonitor I have ever purchased. I knew I was going to be extremely happy with it because I'm a huge Samsung fan. Wish I could have afforded this years ago. The picture quality is so vibrant and clear. It's almost as if you are not staring at a screen. I honestly don't know what else to say about it since I haven't used itixh for the purpose I originally purchased it for. The little I have used this for while gaming, you can't go wrong with this monitor. It's so realistic. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend

RO: Monitorul este de calitate excelentă, nu fiți păcăliți de ecranul VA, are o reproducție a culorilor excelentă (~102% sRGB,~70% DCI P3 și Adobe RGB, nu este perfect pentru Color Grading, dar este foarte bun pentru Daily Use și Gaming) cu ghosting minim si contrast foarte bun, este foarte mare si curbat ceea ce îl face foarte captivant/immersive pentru a te juca, Response Time-ul este undeva pe la 4ms (gray-to-gray), Samsung zice 1ms dar este MPRT, monitorul are: MBR, G-Sync si AMD FreeSync Premium, HDR600 care este destul de bun, pe HDMI merge la doar 1440p 144Hz, FreeSync, Audio, HDR (HDMI 2.0), pe când DisplayPort 1.4 (cablu dp 1.4 inclus) merge la 1440p,165Hz, HDR, FreeSync, Audio fără nici o problemă, rezoluția 1440p/2K/QHD este foarte bună mai ales la mărimi de peste 27" unde 1080p începe să arate pixelat dacă placa ta video poate duce jocuri în 1440p (eu am 6700 XT) merge perfect, monitorul mai poate face downscale de la 4K la 1440p am observat asta la un PS5 înainte să suporte 1440p 120Hz că rula în 4K 60Hz downscale la 1440p 165Hz, MBR nu merge cu FreeSync in acelasi timp, modelul VA are 300nits și cel IPS 350 nits, ambele peak brightness, apropo de FreeSync el merge și pe Console sau Device-uri care nu au FreeSync suport ca un fel de VRR, OSD-ul este foarte bun, deasemenea Backlight Bleed-ul este cam inexistent in unit-ul meu ceea ce este perfect mai ales pentru viewing noaptea, cel mai mare downside e stand ul care nu e de mare calitate și absența difuzoarelor. In rest este foarte bun DACĂ ÎL LUAȚI PUTEȚI INTRA LA SITE-UL SAMSUNG DE SUPPORT PENTRU A DESCĂRCA UN COLOR PROFILE CALIBRAT PENTRU MONITOR. (COLOR PROFILE PENTRU WINDOWS) Eu am modelul "LS32AG550EPXEN" 2023. I recently replaced two aging 19-inch monitors, which were getting difficult to match with the Samsung 34-inch monitor, which provides a lot of breathing room with much to spare. I do a lot of photo and graphics editing for print, and visual quality and resolution are especially important. Color balance is spot on out of the box, and though the monitor is factory set way too bright for photo editing, it was easy enough to back off the brightness and contrast to get it to the point where it matches photos on my 13x19-inch pro-printers. The 100 Hz refresh rate means no flickering (even noticeable at 75 Hz on the old monitors), and the finer resolution makes photo editing easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this monitor for just under a month now. I have been very happy with it. It helps a lot with these widescreen monitors to have Windows 11 for easier window sizing of various software. You can click the window and drag it to the top and then pick which size you want the window to be. I have tried 2 windows side by side. This is typically my gaming set up. I have also tried quadrant windows, so 4 windows total and that's not too bad either. The flatness isn't that much of an issue to me. The fact that it was much cheaper than the curved monitors that are similar in size was the selling point for me. I know curved monitors are all the rage right now, but this one works fine for me for what I do. I am typically playing FFXI (I know I'm old :D) 2 Windows side by side, and then of course normal web surfing etc. I also use SolidWorks with this computer and monitor and that has worked really well with the widescreen. The resolution on this one is 3440 x 1440. It's nice because not everything is ready for 4k and this is a slight upgrade from my 2k monitors that I had before. I would definitely recommend this monitor.
