PROs - I have had this hub for about 9 months, overall it plays well with other hubs/devices. There are a lot of custom scripts available (use at own risk) -- I wish it would connect to my garage opener, but other that that I have a Schladge deadbolt, GE switches, Phillips hub, Logitech hub, Inovelli switches, Aeotec doorbell. I can control most everything with Alexa and Google Assistant. Also have ActionTiles to control through the web. CONs - no way to control things if the hub goes offline (internet outage/smartthings outage). Would like to see the hub work with just the local network when there is an outage (maybe have a windows app that it could fall back to). It keeps me from using it as my only security system.

I've jumped head long in using this hub and haven't had any issues. I have several plug in switches to control on/off function of some floor lights, Dimmer module controlling 8 LED down lights, exterior on/off module controlling a water feature and a water on the floor sensor. Very satisfied with the ease connecting modules to the HUB and the speed commands are carried out when issued via the smart phone app. Just linked the Alexa control feature with no issues.

st started off good in 2018 but has been on a steady decline since then. samsung has left me without any means to control my st devices twice by updating the st app and making it not compatible with my samsung phone and tablets. last time i updated my phone and tablet, in the summer of 2021. now again both are not compatible! well fool me once samsung... i am not only getting rid of my st but every piece of samsung tech is being replaced now.

I have purchased the hub with a bunch of sensors. Everything paired very easily. All the sensors gave a prompt response other than the arrival sensor which did not work at all. The issue we are having is the his drops off and becomes inactive constantly, very unreliable. If it was dependable I'm sure this would be an amazing addition to anyone's smart home integration. Because it's unreliable and is constantly dropping off it makes this unit useless most of the time. What's the point of having sensors on doors, Windows, leak sensors, motion sensors, ECT if they won't be working when you need them too. If we were to get a leak in our basement we have better odds finding out our selves vs the smart thing hub because the amount of time the hub is down. Advise.... save your money do not buy, look at other hubs and other brands. Very disappointed customer.

My home is filled with Samsung products. It usually is my brand of choice. This product has completely changed my opinion of Samsung. I First of all, it is virtually impossible to connect. On the rate occation it successfully connects it gets stuck updating firmware. It also does not do WiFi mesh networking like the online reviewers said. If it does, it is impossible to find that option. Will be returning this asap.

I bought this device mainly to integrate with my Door Bell Skybell, but unfortunately Samsung still working on trigger part of it and hopefully it work soon. Also i'm planning to get MYQ garage opener and want this to work with that straight forward. I'm still learning how to use this, bought couple of sensors and it work like charm and i can control all my home light from anywhere now which is awesome for me.

i upgraded from the v1 hub to the v3 hub. i had 37 devices to migrate and once everything was moved over to the new hub, i was pleased with the speed of execution as well as utilities that come with the v3 hub. it does what's it's supposed to do and if it's anything like the v1 hub, it should last a long time.

After, must stress after all the firmware upgrades were completed it works well for a wave and other Samsung devices. Plume WiFi app not available in Ireland Samsung do you have a date when the plume app available in Ireland? If it’s not soon I’ll have to buy a deco system and take the hit on no wave mesh.

Support for this product is terrible. If you have any issues god forbid trying to contact Samsung support. They will send you around in circles in an endless loop. I wouldn't recommend buying any of the Samsung smart hub products

i am trying to control the hub via the app on my galaxy note 9 - which is a samsung product. but the app buttons overlay the phones buttons on the bottom of the screen, making the app unusable. this is the same company. poor qc.

This is the brains of your smart home. If you only have the hub, you can still connect your smartphone and detect whenever that specific devices arrives or departs. Great for the kids or even for employees.
