Galaxy Z Fold7: Incredibly Thin and Lightweight, Featuring Powerful Camera and AI Features
The Galaxy Z Fold7 reimagines conventional perceptions of foldables. It not only offers the portability of a traditional smartphone but also enables various multitasking capabilities and a more immersive entertainment experience through its expansive screen. When folded, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is merely 8.9mm thick, and when unfolded, it's an astonishing 4.2mm thin[1]. With only 215 grams in weight[2], it perfectly embodies Samsung's continuous efforts to push physical boundaries. When unfolded, the 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display[3], combined with Vision Booster, delivers ultra-rich contrast and vibrant details in any lighting condition. Even when folded, its 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display[4] provides a wider view with the new 21:9 aspect ratio. Both screens offer more workspace for users to edit content and multitask across applications conveniently.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is equipped with the most advanced processor in the Galaxy series – Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy[5] – significantly boosting the performance. In terms of durability, the new Armor FlexHinge features an enhanced water droplet design and newly implemented multi-rail structure, resulting in a lighter, thinner, and more durable hinge while effectively reducing visible creasing. The cover display is made with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2[6], delivering protection in a remarkably thin form factor. Advanced Armor Aluminum[7] in the frame and hinge housing increases strength and hardness by 10%. The main display is also restructured through implementing the Titanium plate layer and Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG), enabling more durable display.
Samsung also brings Galaxy’s top-tier professional camera experience to foldables, for a more Ultra-level mobile photography experience. The Galaxy Z Fold7 features the iconic 200MP wide-angle camera from the Galaxy S Series for the first time, paired with the next-generation ProVisual Engine to deliver richly detailed and textured photos. The main display features a 10MP 100° camera, for a broader field of view. With Night Video, intelligent motion detection now separates moving subjects from still backgrounds to reduce noises. 10-bit HDR provides more color depth, producing richer color and deeper contrast in videos.
Thanks to the Galaxy Z Fold7’s large expansive screen, users can more easily and intuitively utilize various powerful Galaxy AI features while smoothly multitasking across apps. For example, the newly added Suggest Erases[8] in Generative Edit can automatically detect unwanted objects and suggest removal, with Side-by-Side Editing and Show Original to compare the results. Users can also Drag & Drop AI-generated content seamlessly between different apps using multi-window or floating window The upgraded Audio Eraser[9] allows users to detect and remove background noise from videos with a single tap on the new button in the Gallery, making editing effortless and convenient.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is a compact and exquisite foldable that packs powerful features despite its pocket size.
