From starting your day with a quick workout by syncing your fitness data from a smartwatch to the TV screen, using the SmartThings app on your phone to activate the Music Frame for your favorite tunes; to leveraging AI-powered laundry combo, and vacuum cleaners that automatically adjust settings to effectively remove pet hair and allergens — Samsung’s innovative technology showcases how seamlessly connected devices cater to diverse daily scenarios. With features like checking refrigerator inventory and getting recipe suggestions on your phone while monitoring energy consumption throughout the home, Samsung transforms your space into a haven of comfort for you and your loved ones.

To extend this commitment to pets and their well-being, Samsung has partnered with local animal welfare organization, Paws United Charity, to organize a series of events for pet owners and their furry kids. Since its establishment, Paws United Charity has been dedicated to rescuing abandoned cats and dogs. Through foster care programs, medical support, and adoption matchmaking services, they have helped countless animals find new homes. The organization also actively promotes the “Adopt, Don’t Shop” philosophy, encouraging the public to make a difference in animal welfare.

On November 8 and 9, Samsung and Paws United Charity cohosted Pet Training Workshops and an Adoption Day, offering an opportunity for attendees to bring their pets and experience how interconnected technology can seamlessly enhance home life. The two-day event also highlighted Samsung’s people-first product ecosystem. The activities drew overwhelming enthusiasm, drawing pet lovers and their furry friends to participate in the celebrations.

Interactive workshops were led by the professional dog training team from Daniel’s Dog Training, where pet owners and their furry companions learned daily training techniques and household etiquette. The sessions focused on building effective communication skills, enhancing trust, and strengthening the bond between pets and their owners.

Aside participating in various training demonstrations, participants were guided by trainers Chun and Him in exploring Samsung’s range of home appliances, such as the Bespoke Jet AI Vacuum Cleaner equipped with the Pet Tool+ for efficient pet hair extraction, and the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo featuring a specialized Pet Care Mode catering to the unique cleaning needs of pet owners.

Participants also had the chance to try out various Samsung mobile devices with the SmartThings app to centrally manage and remotely control their smart appliances, to learn to create a safer and more comfortable living environment for their beloved pets.
