I. Participants must be aged 18 or above and hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card.

II. Employees of Samsung and its co-organizer(s) (collectively the “Organizers”) and their respective immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

I. Participants must submit a video or photo of daily life created with the assistance of AI tools (the account must be set to public and tagged @samsunghk #GalaxyAI一日小編 #日酬兩萬五) through the Samsung’s Promotion webpage during the Promotion Period (the "Entries"), and complete the application form in order to become an eligible candidate for "Galaxy AI One-day Editor."

II. Each participant can submit one application form only. Participants who make repeated submissions shall be disqualified.

I. The selected candidate will be invited to work as a “One-day Editor” of Samsung's social media and will be required to shoot and create social media content on a specified date using the equipment provided by Samsung. The selected candidate shall agree to be featured in the content.

II. The “One-day Editor” will receive a payment of HK$25,000 (in cash or equivalent, to be decided by the Organizers).

III. The content of the video shall comply with the guidelines and brand image requirements provided by the Organizers. The selected candidate will be notified of the specific details in due course.

IV. The Organizers will provide the necessary equipment and support for the shooting, but the selected candidate is responsible for his/her own transportation and related expenses.

I. The contents of the Entries and the Work of One-day Editor shall be original and shall not infringe any third party’s rights (including intellectual property rights, rights of confidentiality and rights of privacy). Any violating participant shall be disqualified, and will be required to return the payment of HK$25,000 received (if applicable). Samsung and the Organizers shall assume no legal liabilities in case of any violation of any laws in respect of such contents.

II. Entries and the Work of One-day Editor must not contain any obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, objectionable or abusive content or any other content that is controversial or inappropriate; and must not contain sensitive information including but not limited to personal data, confidential information and copyrighted information. Samsung and the Organizers reserves the right of final decision and the right to disqualify such participants/selected candidate.

I. Each participant/selected candidate agrees to authorize Samsung and its authorized entities/persons (collectively “Authorized Users”) to use, retain and appropriately modify the contents of the Entries and/or the Work of One-day Editor (including but not limited to photographs, videos, text, audio, graphics, images and portraits, etc.) for purposes directly related to the future marketing and promotions of Samsung, including commercial promotion, advertising and marketing purposes, and to use and publish such contents in any media in Hong Kong without any time restriction, without the need to give prior notice to or obtain prior approval or consent from the participants/selected candidate, and without the need to pay any additional fees, compensation or payment of any kind. Each participant/selected candidate agrees that the Authorized Users shall have the absolute right to use the above-mentioned contents and shall not, to the fullest extent permitted by law, make any form of complaint or claim against any person or entity in respect thereof.

II. Each participant/selected candidate understands that if any content contains personal data, such personal data will be kept in strict confidence and not be disclosed to other third party or used for any other purposes without the participant/selected candidate’s consent. Data Users (defined hereinbelow) will collect and use the personal data in compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and Samsung Privacy Policy. I. The Organizers shall select one candidate to be the “One-day Editor” based on the Entries submitted by the participants on Samsung's Promotion webpage.

II. The result will be announced on or before June 27, 2025 via Samsung Hong Kong official Instagram Story and the selected candidate will be notified by phone or email.

III. The Organizers reserves the right of final decision.

I. All information submitted by participants must be true and complete. The Organizers reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose information is found to be false. If the selected candidate cannot receive the selection result notifications or loses the opportunity to be selected due to any fake or incorrect or inaccurate information provided for this Promotion, Samsung and Organizers shall bear no responsibility.

II. By participating in this Promotion, each participant/selected candidate agrees to exempt and exclude Samsung and Organizers from all claims or liabilities of any nature arising from participating in this Promotion or otherwise related to this Promotion. The above disclaimer is not applicable to damage or loss caused by fraud (including misrepresentation), or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

III. The selected candidate is required to comply with the safety guidelines during the shooting and Samsung and the Organizers shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by personal negligence.

IV. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted due to any reason beyond Samsung/Organizer's reasonable control, including but not limited to computer system defects, breakdown of web services, virus infection, hacking, technical failure and/or any force majeure events, Samsung and Organizers reserve the right in their sole discretion to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion, in whole or in part, as appropriate. Samsung and Organizers shall not bear any liability therefrom.

V. Each participant/selected candidate agrees to indemnify and hold Samsung and Organizers harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) arising from any misconduct or negligence, as well as breach of these Terms and Conditions for which such participant/selected candidate is liable, including but not limited to claims arising from participant/selected candidate's infringement of the rights of a third party.

VI. Samsung reserves the right to disqualify any participant/selected candidate from the Promotion where it has reasonable grounds to believe that participant/selected candidate has violated these Terms and Conditions or any instructions and/or requirements of this Promotion, or that participant/selected candidate may have gained an unfair advantage by participating in this Promotion or obtained any opportunity or offer herein using fraudulent means.

VII. Except where expressly provided herein, each participant/selected candidate shall bear any costs, expenses and relevant tax payments incurred resulting from participating in this Promotion and no reimbursement may be sought from Samsung or the Organizers. 

I. By participating in this Promotion, each participant/selected candidate agrees that any personal data provided in connection with this Promotion will be collected, used and retained by Samsung, its affiliates and its third party service providers (whether in Hong Kong or abroad) (collectively “Data Users”) for the purposes of entry selection, contract, shooting arrangements and other purposes directly related to this Promotion. Such personal data will be kept in strict confidence and not be disclosed to other third party or used for any other purposes without participant/selected candidate’s consent. Data Users will collect and use the personal data in compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and Samsung Privacy Policy. Participant/selected candidate shall have the right to request access to and correction of his/her personal data held by Data Users, and such request can be made to Samsung’s Data Privacy Officer at sehk@samsung.com.
