How to connect your Air Dresser to SmartThings?

Connecting your Air Dresser to SmartThings allows you to do more things than just setting a time for it to start. You are able to choose which program you would like to use, set up laundry recipe and even download more programs for your Air Dresser.

 

First of all, you will need to actually run through the process and connect your Air Dresser to SmartThings.

 

Follow the steps below to get you connected.

1 Press and hold the connection button on your Air Dresser until you see the message appear on the display panel, “AP mode ON. Connecting to Mobile. ”

2 Now go ahead and open the SmartThings app on your phone and a pop-up box will appear asking if you would like to connect the Air Dresser to SmartThings. Select ‘Add Now. ’

3 SmartThings will start getting things ready for setup.

4 Everything should now be set and ready to go. Press on ‘Start’ to begin the connection.

5 Select the location of the Air Dresser.

6 Select which room the Air Dresser will be.

7 Smart Things will start connecting to the Air Dresser and then your Samsung Account will be registered to the Air dresser

8 Once that has been completed, you will get a message saying, ‘Successfully Connected. ’

9 Go to the location that you registered the Air dresser to and you will then see that the Air Dresser has now been added to your Smart Things account.

Please Note: To connect SmartThings to your Air Dresser, you must be using the same Wi-Fi network.
