[Cause]

1. The fridge is unplugged

2. House's circuit breaker is tripped
3. Power surges

[Solution]

1. If your refrigerator is not powering on at all, please check the followings:

Step 1.  Check to see if it is properly plugged.

Step 2.  Check your house's circuit breaker. Make sure that the one connecting to the refrigerator is not tripped.

Step 3.  If the circuit is tripped, you are recommended to unplug the refrigerator before resetting the circuit.

Step 4.  If the circuit is not tripped, you are recommended to make a reservation for in-home repair services.

2. If a power outage or brownout has just occured, this may result in processor lockup and thus power supply needs time to return. Once the power returns, please follow these steps:

Step 1. Unplug your refrigerator.

Step 2. Wait for 30 seconds.

Step 3. Plug in your refrigerator. It may power up properly but the display will show the actual temperature instead of the factory default set temperature.

Step 4. Set the refrigerator to Power Cool and Power Freeze modes until it returns to the desired operating temperature.

If the refrigerator is still not functioning normally, you are recommended to make a reservation for in-home repair services.

3. Power surges

Power line surges or glitches damage the unit either at the time of power outage or when the power is restored. And this might cause failures when the unit's power returns.

In this case, you are recommended to make a reservation for in-home repair services.
