What is NFC Access Card service?NFC Access Card is digital key function in Samsung Wallet that allows you to use your smartphone to perform the same function as an NFC physical card (i.e. residential building access, commercial building access, campus access, elevator access, parking lot access etc.). After adding NFC Access Card to Samsung Wallet, you may use your phone for accessing instead of the physical card.

Which Samsung device models work with NFC Access Card?The following devices supports NFC Access Card service: Galaxy Z Flip6, Z Flip5 5G, Z Flip4 5G, Z Flip3 5G, Z Fold6, Z Fold5 5G, Z Fold4 5G, Z Fold3 5G, S25 Edge, S25 Ultra, S25+, S25, S24 FE, S24 Ultra, S24+, S24, S23 FE, S23 Ultra, S23+, S23, S22 Ultra, S22+, S22, , S21 Ultra, S21+, S21 and A36. More device models will be available soon. Note: Must update device software version with Android™ 15 V OS or above.

What NFC Access Card can be added in Samsung Wallet?Samsung Wallet NFC Access Card supports specific RFID NFC physical card series; however, Samsung Wallet does not support encrypted cards. You may try adding any NFC key card or key fob, Samsung Wallet will help you to screen out the supported keys and let you know while you’re adding it whether it’s supported or not.

Can I add multiple NFC Access Cards?Yes, you may add up to 8 NFC Access Cards to Samsung Wallet.

How can I add my NFC Access Card?Please follow these steps: 1. Run Samsung Wallet app and start journey with Digital Keys 2. Tap ‘Add NFC access card’ 3. Hold your NFC physical card against the back of your phone 4. Create security code 5. Your NFC Access Card is added in Samsung Wallet

Can I have Smart Octopus and NFC Access Card at the same time?Yes. You can have both Smart Octopus and NFC Access cards in Samsung Wallet.

How can I use NFC Access Card?You may swipe up the NFC Access Card from Quick Access or open NFC Access Card page when you tap NFC Access card to reader. If you used to use Smart Octopus as access card, you may tap reader as usual.

Do I need to turn NFC on when I use NFC Access Card?Yes. NFC Access card requires NFC function on your device. Please make sure the NFC is on and please set NFC with ‘Embedded Security Element’ in device settings.

Can I use NFC Access Card without mobile data/Wi-Fi connection?Yes, you can use NFC Access Card without mobile data/Wi-Fi connection.

Can I use NFC Access Card when my smartphone screen is off/smartphone is locked/runs out of battery?No. Only Smart Octopus that also functions as access card can be used when smartphone screen is off/smartphone is locked/runs out of battery.

How can I remove NFC Access Card?Please follow these steps: 1. Run Samsung Wallet app and select an added NFC Access Card to launch the access card’s Details screen 2. At the access card’s Details screen, tap ‘Delete’ in setting to remove the card.

Can I and my member(s) add the same NFC Access Card to Samsung Wallet?Yes. Samsung Wallet always take seriously your security and protection. When your member tries to add your added NFC Access Card to Samsung Wallet, he/she will be asked to enter the security code you have set before.

How can I manage my NFC Access Cards?You are able to delete the NFC Access Card member(s) if you’re the primary phone owner for NFC Access Card. As NFC Access Card primary phone owner, you may also change the security code whenever you need.

Can I share my NFC Access Card(s)?No, NFC Access Card can’t be shared to other parties.

Will I find the added NFC Access Card(s) if I logged in my Samsung account on a new smartphone?No, the NFC Access Cards(s) only stores in the smartphone you firstly added. However, you could restore your added NFC Access Card(s) by using Smart Switch Mobile to transfer your added NFC Access Card(s) data from old smartphone to new smartphone.

I switch to new smartphone, do I need to re-add the added NFC Access Card(s)?Not necessary. You could restore your added NFC Access Card(s) by using Smart Switch Mobile to transfer your added NFC Access Card(s) data from old smartphone to new smartphone.

I lost my smartphone. How can I suspend the use of NFC Access Card(s)?You can suspend the use of your Digital Keys by going to the Internet and searching “SmartThings Find”. Here you can remotely lock your smartphone. If you deleted the data on your smartphone, any registered Digital Keys will be deleted as well.
