How to install your washing machine
There are some important steps to follow when you first set up your washing machine. Find out what you should do before you start using your washing machine below.

Only built in kits designed for purpose and supplied by Samsung should be used for appliances installed at heights, for example, the washer and dryer combination seen in the images below:
Please note: Installations not in accordance with the installation manual may void the warranty at Samsung's discretion if contributing to a fault.
Additional guidance and conditions for domestic appliance installation:
· Prohibition of Raised Cabinet Installations - Under no circumstances should Samsung washing machines, dryers, and other appliances be installed within cabinets that are raised off the floor.
· Floor-Level Installation - Washing machines must be installed on a solid, level floor surface that can adequately support the weight of the machine and its contents during operation, as specified in the installation manual.
· Installation Manual Compliance - All installations must adhere to the instructions provided in the user and installation manuals.
For best performance, your washing machine should be installed on a level, solid floor. The washing machine's feet must sit firmly on the floor. You can adjust the feet to level the appliance.
Please note: If installing the product on a solid levelled floor, it’s advisable to screw in back legs to its maximum and adjust the front legs to obtain a perfect level.
Samsung washing machines use one of two types of levelling feet.

When your washing machine is first delivered, it will come fitted with bolts to hold the drum in place during transportation. These bolts must be removed before use.
Use the new hose set when installing a new machine rather than reusing old hoses.
Plug the power cord into a wall socket. Connect the washing machine on its own, making sure there is isolation protection. Do not connect the product to other apparatus or to extension leads.
Please note: Do not use an extension cable.
Please note: Washing machines require a minimum clearance space around them. Refer to your washing machine's manual for gap sizes. The usual minimum clearance space for alcove installation is 25mm on top and sides and 50mm to the rear. 550mm is required in front of the washing machine.
