Would you like to repair your Samsung device yourself?
With Samsung's Self Repair program, you can repair some damage to Samsung products yourself - this includes damage that is not covered by the warranty (warranty period has expired or damage outside the warranty conditions). Through Self Repair you can buy original spare parts for Samsung products including Galaxy smartphones, tablets, laptops, refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers or televisions and monitors).

Any damage to the product caused by an attempted repair (by anyone other than a Samsung Authorised Service Partner) will also not be covered by the warranty.

If your phone has a swollen battery, do not attempt self-repair. You can identify if a battery is swollen with a visual inspection, noting that it will physically separate from the rear of the unit.

If the test results reveal any issues or another malfunction due to the repair, please contact Samsung Support for further guidance.

In order to pair the serial number of your new battery to your phone and re-calibrate your device, you can also download Samsung’s official app called “Self Repair Assistant” which is available in Galaxy Store.
You can dispose of damaged or used parts yourself via your local waste disposal authority. Alternatively, contact Samsung Support to get advice on returning parts to one of our Authorised Service Partners.
