The screen on this phone is unbelievable. I moved up from an S8 which I've had for 4 years and thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 120hz and 60hz as I couldn't with 1080p and 1440p. But yes I can!!! It's so painful looking at the 60hz S8 now as it feels so choppy and if the app is lagging but on the A52 it's silky smooth. I was also surprised by how good the photos are especially the portrait photos the depth sensor camera keeps the information on the photo so can change the amount of boka after the photo has been taken. Btw the gpu has been able to do any game I ask of it fine Here's a photo of a friend's cat (some of the quality has been lost to attach it )

I have recently bought a Galaxy A52 5G Smartphone and have been told by people that they cannot hear me very well especially while on a video call (Zoom, Whatsapp, etc). My voice sounds muffled, underwatter, like in a barrell and crackly, interrupted... Many a52 users have made this complain its an issue of top noise cancelling microphone, but Samsung is doing nothing which is terrible. This is not a cheap phone. sorry for telling this but it is true i spent money and using broken phone and samsung cant really help about this.. maybe this is my last samsung phone after my whole life being with samsung.

It's a bit better than the A71 I had for less than one day last October The cameras are a bit odd No flash in wide angle mode No video stabilization available when using 60fps only in 30fps mode Screen does 120fps but not often, that's generally for the OS and odd app. Not Games No wireless charging, which only costs a few quid. Not done video calls so not sure about the top microphone issue. They have removed the feature to hide the camera hole. So that's a bugger for me The A71 I had was very slow and buggy. This seems miles better. That had the Snapdragon 730
I recommended this product.

We can try to safely unmount your SD card by opening Settings > Battery and device care > More (three dots in the top right) > Storage settings > Tap SD card > Unmount, this will protect your data from being corrupted when removing the SD card. Once the SD card is removed, perform a Soft Reset by pressing and holding the Volume up and Power buttons at the same time until your phone reboots, then, replace your SD card, this should resolve the issue. This is a brilliant phone, with a great camera and excellent audio capabilities. However, it's letdown by a totally useless fingerprint security feature. Not only does it take absolutely ages to store your fingerprint but it then fails to recognise it about 90% of the time. There is no point in including an extremely useful security feature if it fails to operate properly. I have now given up using fingerprint access, which is a great shame. I fear that costs have dictated the effectiveness of this feature.

I'm new to Samsung, Don't know what all the numbers are @ the end, just know I own a A52 5G. Love this phone noteablely something I've never had in previous phones, my tex messages have a recycle bin just like with the email account wow I haven't got to worry about accidentally deleting ever again so I have a second chance. I also like the spam & telemarketer warnings on phone calls. I can now also report all those HMRC Tax spam fraud calls & block them. Samsung Convert.

I've had this phone for about 5 years - I think I've been asked to review it now because I did a factory reset on it last month. In short, it's been great and is still useable, but as it's primarily been used as a dash cam and sat nav in recent years, it has got a bit too hot and the glue has failed on the back of the phone - so that is loose now. Other than that it's been a great, well priced phone.

However I try, I cannot get this phone to accept FLAC Audio files! FLAC is way better than MP3 and is widely accepted. Even my much cheaper Samsung Tab A Tablet can handle FLAC files, but this phone just will not. Very disappointed. The camera is OK, but nothing special considering the opposition. Support from Samsing is woeful. This is my last Samsung phone.

Great phone for the cost, large crystal clear screen, absolutely fantastic camera, easy to use, yes there area few features missing (hence I suppose the low price) but overall a good phone. The only one thing that could have been incorporated is wireless charging, don't think that would have increased price that much. But that feature would have really been added.

yes this is true, I have intially bought A51 phone which start giving me issue for long, then I requested a replacement and got A52, that was the worst phone of my life. I don't understand how Samsung made such phone which does not work well, This phone comes with Data not working, the phone shut off automatically and many other issues, such as most slow phone.

Replaced my A51-5G with the A52-5G as I went for a swin with the 51 by mistake. The A52-5G is a great mid range device. Cracking display complimented by a cracking camera. Good battery life and the OS is pretty much stock Android. Fast processor finally so there's really no lag. Oh, and I can get this one wet due to the IP67 certification.

Just like advertised: awesome screen, awesome camera, long lasting battery life! Awesome screen: A vivid and very bright 120 hz holepunch display which is something only really seen on high end phones Awesome camera: A quad camera setup with a 64mp main lens and a ultra wide lens. These main cameras are very good. Macro camera can take very capable close up shots given the right lighting and the depth camera allows for background blur in portrait shots Long lasting battery life: A super huge 4500 mah battery with support for 25watts superfast charging (although only 15w comes in the box) and despite a 120hz screen I get a day and a half worth of heavy usage! So far I'm very impressed with this phone. Buying a midrange was always something I didn't prefer doing since they tend to be a lot slower. However with the a52 5g I've noticed no such thing and I do think samsung really outdid themselves. I recommend this phone for anyone, you can't go wrong!

Great camera especially Pro mode. Easy & intuitive to use. Great sound & video Dolby Atmos works well. Only glitch on a WhatsApp call got a phone call and it locked everything had to restart twice - this is the only b reason for a 4 not 5 but that may be Android 11

It hangs and sometimes get stuck in apps and becomes unresponsive. Could be because of the bloatware. But some of their bloatware can't even be uninstalled. I have used it for less than a month and so far it has made my life very difficult at many instances.

The device is good but there is an intermittent fault with the display showing white noise every now and again. There are also software faults with the moisture in charging port. The latter poses issues as the phone is not capable for wireless charging.

This phone has some good features but so far I have not managed to use 5G anywhere even in Manchester City center and Liverpool. It is also missing some key features such as wireless charging, and hdmi output through the USB type c connection.

I said not bad because you lose wireless charging,no real 3.5mm headphone socket,one speaker so no stereo effect,brittle glass front and rear,reasonable screen but not that good,camera far too long to get its act together and yes I am a professional photographer and know what I am talking about,colour science is not up to par it lacks depth and overall quality,sensor size does not mean much when you consider it is tiny and not 35mm in actual sizeor crop size being around 24mm physical size.One simply will say not bad for social media but bad news if you try to enlarge it to any reasonable size 9'6 no,smaller possibly.The battery from new was carefully charged,it will not last long,fast charge shortens the time you can use it,slower and set camera to standard charge along with lower output in watts means slightly longer use with internet,5G very little difference from 4G,makes me think why I wasted money on this phone it does not live up to what is said,tested with iphones 5G and loading running speeds,A95 slower by big margin and no it does not have anything to do with model and make,all %g should work the same speeds,thats the point of 5g.Using glass case is a mistake,you have to waste money on gel case because it is more slippery than Teflon.Samsung bloatware within has been turned off,i only use Android software.now looking to buy phone but not Samsung.

I am absolutely devastated and horrified by what happened to me because of the Samsung Galaxy A52. I never imagined that a device I trusted and used daily could turn into a dangerous fire hazard. This was not just a simple malfunction this was a life-threatening incident that could have ended far worse.A few days ago, while charging my phone as I normally would, I suddenly heard a loud pop, followed by a terrifying hissing sound. Before I could even process what was happening, my phone burst into flames right before my eyes. A wave of intense heat and thick smoke filled the room, and in the panic of trying to move it away, I suffered a painful burn injury on my finger. The excruciating pain was immediate, and the shock of what had just happened left me shaking with fear.The sheer thought of what could have happened if this had occurred while I was asleep, or if a child had been near the device, sends shivers down my spine. What if the flames had spread? What if my house had caught fire? What if someone had been seriously hurt or worse? This is beyond unacceptable.I have always trusted Samsung as a reputable brand, but this incident has completely shattered my confidence. How can a phone something we keep so close to us at all times be so dangerously defective? This is not just a personal loss; it is a serious warning to others. If you own this model, please be extremely cautious. This phone is a fire hazard, and I dread to think of the hidden dangers lurking in similar devices.Out of sheer anger and frustration, I have thrown this phone into the dustbin, something I never thought I would have to do with a Samsung product. I was a loyal Samsung customer, but this incident has broken my trust forever. I feel betrayed and let down.But I will not let this go unanswered. I am taking legal action against Samsung for this serious safety failure. A phone should never explode under any circumstances.
