Samsung To Launch 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, Advancing All-in-One Comfort Lifestyle

15 May 2026

Enhanced Super Speed cycle reduces total wash-and-dry time to 69 minutes

Upgraded AI Wash & Dry + improves optimisation, while advanced Bixby enables more natural control through everyday conversation

AUCKLAND, New Zealand – May 2026 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the upcoming launch of the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, ¹ an upgrade to its all-in-one laundry solution that has helped create a more comfortable lifestyle at home by eliminating the need to transfer laundry between separate machines.

Following the product’s unveiling at CES in January, Samsung is now sharing full launch details — including faster wash-to-dry performance, an upgraded AI cycle and a more advanced voice experience — to highlight the improvements of the 2026 model.

“Since its debut, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo has helped simplify one of the most repetitive household routines through true all-in-one convenience,” said Hyoung Min Park, VP and Head of the Customer Experience Team for the Digital Appliances (DA) Business at Samsung Electronics. “With the 2026 model, we’re building on that comfort lifestyle with upgrades that make laundry faster, smarter and easier to manage — while expanding options to meet a wider range of customer needs.”

Faster Full Cycles, Enhanced Drying and Smarter Care

Following its 2024 debut, the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is launching with upgrades that shorten wash-to-dry cycles and enhance drying performance. Under specific conditions, the Super Speed cycle can complete a full wash-to-dry cycle in 69 minutes, helping users reduce total laundry time without compromising performance.²

Super Speed leverages a high-pressure Speed Spray that improves detergent penetration and rinsing to enable fast and efficient washing, while the newly incorporated booster heat exchanger delivers excellent drying performance. The upgraded combo also features Auto Open Door+,³ which not only automatically opens the door, but also activates internal air circulation⁴ after wash-only cycles to help prevent laundry left in the drum from developing a musty odour.

Upgraded AI Wash & Dry + Enables More Precise, Automatic Optimisation

At the core of the all-in-one experience, the 2026 model integrates AI Wash & Dry +,⁵  upgrading the intelligence that supports smart optimisation of washing & drying. Using enhanced sensing and AI-based analysis, AI Wash & Dry + uses multiple sensors to optimise performance for each load. It detects the weight to determine the right amount of water and detergent, identifies five fabric types for smaller laundry loads⁶ — including Outdoor and Denim — and monitors soil levels in real time to adjust the cycle for better results with less manual input.

A More Advanced Bixby Brings Natural, Conversational Control to the Home

Samsung is also bringing a more advanced Bixby⁷ experience to the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo. Bixby has enabled users to monitor and control connected Samsung devices directly from a single appliance,⁸ making it easier to handle everyday routines across the home.

Now, with improved understanding capabilities, Bixby goes beyond fixed commands to understand natural, conversational requests. For example, users can simply say, “Can you wash this before 11 p.m.?” or “Start a normal wash, but add an extra rinse,” and Bixby will understand and carry out the request.

Availability

To meet different regional needs and broaden consumer choice, Samsung will roll out the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo with line-up options that vary by market. In select regions, Samsung will also introduce more affordable model options,⁹ expanding availability across price segments while maintaining the core all-in-one convenience. As such, the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo will roll out in select markets throughout 2026.

Available for purchase now in New Zealand on samsung.com/nz and select retailers.

  • 1The specifications listed only apply to WD90H******* models.
  • 2Based on internal testing and verified by Intertek for the cycle time was measured when drying a DOE (50% cotton / 50% polyester) 3 kg load (based on bone dry) with a Super Speed cycle on model WD90H**AH***.
Test conditions include Super Speed cycle, wash temp. set to Cold, rinse set to 1, spin set to Extra High, dryness level set to Normal, room temp. of 23℃, and tap water temp. of 15℃. Results may vary depending on actual usage environment.
  • 3Auto Open Door+ automatically opens the door and blows air to help remove moisture inside the drum more quickly. The default setting for Auto Open Door is 'Open immediately'. This also can be changed in Settings > Washer > Auto Open Door to "Open 5 mins later"
  • 4Auto Open Door+'s airflow operates only after a wash-only cycle is completed. The default setting for the airflow is Off, and this can be changed in Settings > Washer > Auto Open Door.
  • 5AI Wash & Dry +'s detection and sensing capabilities are based on our deep learning models trained using predefined set of data and may yield inaccurate or incorrect results. New datasets may be introduced to our learning models from time to time to enhance its accuracy.
  • 6Based on AI-based algorithm and internal testing using the AI Wash & Dry + cycle on an IEC 3kg load. A turbidity sensor operates for all weights, while fabric sensing operates for 3kg and under. Actual results may vary depending on individual use. Fabric sensing uses an AI algorithm and is activated only when AI Wash & Dry+ cycle is selected. It senses 5 fabric types (Normal, Delicates, Towels, denim, outdoor) for loads up to 3 kg. Mixed fabrics may reduce detection accuracy. Actual results may vary depending on individual use. To prevent wear, wash like fabrics together.
