Q. How do I clean and maintain the dryer filter?To clean and maintain the dryer filter, follow these steps:
- • Open the dryer door and pull the filter up to remove it.
- • Separate the internal and external filters.
- • Remove lint with a brush.
- • Rinse the filter if needed.
- • Let the filter dry completely before reinserting.

Q. How energy-efficient is the Samsung dryer?Samsung dryers are designed with energy-saving functions, such as AI Energy Mode. AI Energy mode in SmartThings Energy lets you easily check your daily, weekly and monthly power consumption. It also estimates your monthly electricity bill. When selected, it intelligently helps you reduce energy use.
Note: AI Energy Mode must be activated through the SmartThings app available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-FI connection and a Samsung account are required. -
Q. What is the Samsung dryer’s specific course for drying bedding?The Samsung dryer’s Bedding cycle detects blanket thickness (thin, normal, or thick) and moisture level, then adjusts the drying time to deliver quick, even drying.The Bedding drying cycle can dry up to 4 kg of dry comforters.

Q. What laundry-to-dryer connectivity features are available?When your Samsung dryer is stacked on a compatible washer, MultiControl™ lets you operate both appliances from the washer’s control panel. This means you can start, pause, or adjust dryer settings without reaching up to the dryer or using a separate remote—ideal for tall stack setups.

Q. What is the difference between condenser and heat pump dryers?
- • Condenser dryers: heat the air to dry clothes and collect moisture in a tank or drain it away.
- • Heat pump dryers: recycle warm air by using a heat pump, drying at lower temperatures.
Heat pump dryers generally uses less energy than condenser dryers. -
Q. How can I clean the dryer inside?Use the Self Clean feature to keep your Samsung dryer fresh. This high-temperature cycle removes any moisture left after drying, preventing odors and buildup. Select Self Clean from the dryer’s menu, and it will run automatically.

Q. How can I use Auto Open Door for the dryer?Auto Open Door opens the dryer door at the end of a cycle to release humid air, reduce odors, and prevent musty smells if laundry is left inside. Turn it on in Settings → Auto Open Door on the dryer or in the SmartThings app available on Android and iOS devices.

Q. Do you uninstall and provide disposal services for large appliances when you install a new one?Samsung cares about the environment, if you are located within Greater Metro Manila, we can dispose of your old appliances. For more information please contact our Customer Care team here.
The installation location should be clean of any debris, liquid, etc., which may impede the installation of the new product. -
Q. How do I know if the item will fit?You can see if it’ll fit by checking the dimensions on the product page. For more details, just download the manual from that page to find the installation space requirements.

What documents do I need to present upon delivery of my order?Whether your order will be delivered at home or picked up in-store, you will be required to present a valid identification document that matches the full name that you have indicated upon placing your order, to protect your order from incorrect delivery or receipt by an unauthorized person.

Q. Can I track the progress of my order?Yes you will be able to track your order.
We process all shipments through reputable shipping service providers. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and link that you can use to track the shipment.
If you made a purchase using Guest Check-out:

3) Enter your order number – you will find this in the confirmation email sent to you once your order has been made.

Q. Can I change my delivery address after order confirmation?If your order is at the "Preparing for delivery" stage, which means it has not yet been shipped out, this can be considered and accommodated on a case-to-case basis. You may reach out to us via our Customer Care live chat.

Q. How do I cancel my order?If your order has not yet been prepared for dispatch, you can still cancel it.
You can cancel it through the self-service ‘Cancel Order’ button available in your Orders page. If your order has reached ‘Awaiting dispatch’ status, cancellation on the website will no longer be possible.
Upon cancelling your order, you relinquish the item you ordered and acknowledge that you may no longer have one for yourself at the moment you place a new order. This includes all discounts, perks, and promos that have been applied to the cancelled order. -
Q. Do I have to pay for return shipping if I want to return an item?Returning an item will not cost you anything, but is only possible given the following reasons:
- Item is damaged or malfunctioning
- Return is initiated within the 7-day as per warranty policy
- Item is still in the Philippines
Beyond the reasons above (except for buyer remorse or change of mind), you need to reach out to our Customer Contact Center to determine if your situation qualifies as one of the rare special cases.

Q. How do I turn Child Lock on and off on my Samsung dryer?Child Lock prevents accidental changes by locking the control panel. Common ways to turn Child Lock on or off include:
Press and hold Spin + Temp buttons for 3 seconds

Q. When should I clean the heat exchanger on a Samsung tumble dryer?Clean the heat exchanger about once a month, or sooner if the buzzer sounds or the heat exchanger light comes on. This helps maintain drying efficiency and prevents damage.

Based on an advanced AI algorithm, utilizing moisture content and drying temperature data, it can detect four types of fabric: denim, towels, normal and delicates. The fabric detection capability was tested on a single type of fabric with a dry weight of 3 kg, after using the default spin-drying strength of a paired washing machine. Results may vary based on actual usage.
