Q. What size refrigerator do I need?Choose a refrigerator size based on the space available in your kitchen. Measure the area carefully and ensure proper clearance, typically 10 cm on top and 5 cm at the sides and back. For capacity, consider the following:
- • 1 - 2 people: 250–380 L
- • 3 - 4 people: 350–530 L
- • 5 or more: 440 L or larger

Q. What is AI Hybrid Cooling?AI Hybrid Cooling uses AI to predict temperature changes after the fridge door opens or closes when AI Energy Mode is activated through the SmartThings app. This also allows deeper shelves without increasing the fridge’s external size, giving you more interior space.

Q. What is Family Hub?Family Hub is a smart refrigerator with a large display and voice control, designed to keep your family connected and organized:
- • Manage food and recipes with onscreen apps.
- • Control smart home devices via Bixby voice commands.
- • Share photos, notes, and calendars with family members.
- • Enjoy entertainment like TV, music on the screen.

Q. What is Beverage Center™?Beverage Center™ is a built‑in water and beverage system inside the fridge, with a dispenser and an AutoFill Water Pitcher:
- • Standard dispenser: Built inside the fridge with a detachable nozzle for easy cleaning and less contamination risk.
- • AutoFill Water Pitcher (1.4L/48oz): BPA‑free, dishwasher‑safe, can fill large tumblers in one pour, and includes an infuser for fruits or herbs.
- • Hygiene & safety: The pitcher is SGS-certified dishwasher-safe after 125 test cycles (BS EN 12875-1:2005) and is BPA-free.

Q. What kinds of ice can Samsung fridges make?Samsung offers five types of ice, which may vary by product model:
- • Cubed Ice: The most common type, typically square or rectangular. Cools drinks quickly and melts at a moderate rate, preserving flavor.
- • Ice Bites: Smaller, rectangular cubes that chill drinks rapidly and melt quickly—perfect for fast cooling.
- • Sphere Ice: Large, spherical ice that melts slowly due to its low surface area, ideal for whiskey, cocktails, and premium beverages.
- • Curved Ice: Smooth, curved pieces that look appealing and melt evenly, keeping drinks tasting fresh.
- • Crushed Ice: Small, broken pieces perfect for smoothies, cocktails, and cold desserts, offering a refreshing texture.

Q. What does Samsung AI energy mode do?AI Energy Mode adjusts compressor speed and defrost cycles based on usage and surroundings to reduce energy while maintaining cooling.
Note: Cooling performance may feel slightly weaker, and frozen items might soften. This is normal and not a defect. To restore cooling, try turning AI Energy Mode off and then back on.
Your refrigerator must be connected to the SmartThings app available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. -
Q. What is SpaceMax™ Technology?SpaceMax™ technology uses thinner walls* to create more usable storage space without increasing the refrigerator’s external dimensions or reducing energy efficiency. The flat cooling duct at the back also minimizes ‘dead space,’ allowing for better storage layout.

Q. What is the warranty for a refrigerator purchased from Samsung Philippines?Refrigerators purchased from Samsung Philippines come with a one-year warranty on parts and labor. The compressor motor is covered for five years for non-inverter models and ten years for digital inverter models.

What is the Twin Cooling System?The Twin Cooling System uses two evaporators and two fans to cool the refrigerator and freezer independently while operating on a single compressor. This setup keeps the fridge air humid and the freezer air dry, helps maintain ideal food conditions, and prevents odors from transferring between compartments.

Q. Do you uninstall and provide disposal services for large appliances when you install a new one?Samsung cares about the environment, if you are located within Greater Metro Manila, we can dispose of your old appliances. For more information please contact our Customer Care team here.
The installation location should be clean of any debris, liquid, etc., which may impede the installation of the new product. -
Q. How do I know if the item will fit?You can see if it’ll fit by checking the dimensions on the product page. For more details, just download the manual from that page to find the installation space requirements.

Q. What documents do I need to present upon delivery of my order?Whether your order will be delivered at home or picked up in-store, you will be required to present a valid identification document that matches the full name that you have indicated upon placing your order, to protect your order from incorrect delivery or receipt by an unauthorized person.

Q. Can I track the progress of my order?Yes you will be able to track your order.
We process all shipments through reputable shipping service providers. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and link that you can use to track the shipment.

Q. How do I cancel my order?If your order has not yet been prepared for dispatch, you can still cancel it.
You can cancel it through the self-service ‘Cancel Order’ button available in your Orders page. If your order has reached ‘Awaiting dispatch’ status, cancellation on the website will no longer be possible.
Upon cancelling your order, you relinquish the item you ordered and acknowledge that you may no longer have one for yourself at the moment you place a new order. This includes all discounts, perks, and promos that have been applied to the cancelled order. -
Q. Do I have to pay for return shipping if I want to return an item?Returning an item will not cost you anything, but is only possible given the following reasons:
- Item is damaged or malfunctioning
- Return is initiated within the 7-day as per warranty policy
- Item is still in the Philippines
Beyond the reasons above (except for buyer remorse or change of mind), you need to reach out to our Customer Contact Center to determine if your situation qualifies as one of the rare special cases.

Q. How long will it take for the ice maker to make ice after installation?After installation, wait at least 12 hours for the ice maker to start. Throw away the first 1 or 2 ice buckets to remove impurities in the water system.

Q. How do I change the water filter on a Samsung fridge?Check and replace the water filter every 6 months or if you notice sediment, discoloration, or unusual taste or smell:
- • Most Samsung fridges have a filter reminder light that turns red and sounds an alarm when it’s time to replace.
- • Use only Samsung genuine filters to avoid damage. Purchase them at local Samsung service centers or Samsung.com.
- • For detailed replace instructions, refer to your user manual.

Q. How do I use the Cool Select Pantry in a Samsung fridge freezer?The Cool Select Pantry is a full-width drawer with adjustable temperature control for items like party trays, deli foods, pizza, and drinks:
- • Use the control on the right side and press the Temp button to select a mode.
- • The drawer will adjust automatically to the selected temperature, even if the current temperature differs.
- • This drawer is ideal for party trays, deli items, pizza, and beverages.
Note: Available only on Samsung fridge-freezers with a Cool Select Pantry. Check your product page or user manual on the Samsung website to confirm your model. -
Q. What types of food can be stored in each mode of the Cool Select Pantry?The Cool Select Pantry offers three temperature modes, each suited for different foods:
- • Deli (about 5°C / 41°F): Best for foods like pineapple, lemon, avocado, and potato. Keeps items fresh for longer.
- • Fresh (about 3°C / 38°F): Ideal for cucumbers, apples, oranges, grapes, zucchini, and corn. Maintains freshness for extended periods.
- • Zero Zone (about 0°C / 32°F): Perfect for steaks, hard cheeses, cold cuts, bacon, and hot dogs. Keeps meat or fish fresh for longer.
Note: Do not store fruits, vegetables, or leafy greens in the Zero Zone, as they may be damaged. Avoid placing glass bottles here, since they can break if frozen and cause injury. -
Q. Why does ice form on the bottom of my Samsung freezer?Ice buildup can be caused by several factors:
- • Humid air entering the freezer
- • Damaged or poorly sealing door gasket
- • Poor ventilation or blocked airflow
To reduce ice buildup, try the following:
- • Keep the freezer door fully closed and avoid frequent openings.
- • Check and clean the door seals; replace if damaged.
- • Clean the back of the refrigerator for better airflow.
- • Avoid placing hot food directly into the freezer.
