Customer mechanics for participating Samsung Experience Stores and Authorized Stores:

1. Customers may trade-in their old smartphone (any brand) towards a new Galaxy device at any of the participating stores within the promo period.
2. Customer surrenders their old smartphone to the Trade In Trade Up point person for evaluation. Only selected smartphones will be accepted and it should be in good working condition. A deduction to the appraised value is possible depending on defects of the smartphone.
3. Customers will see on the mobile app the final appraised values of the surrendered devices as shown in the pdf receipt generated by the app. Each traded-in device will have its own receipt.
4. Customers must present the final appraised value to the cashier upon purchase, and the net valuation is deducted from the SRP of the new device.
5. Starting October 1, 2021, customer may only choose between the following payment options:
a. Straight Payment (Credit Card / Debit / Cash Card / Cash)
b. 0% Credit Card Installment
6. Regardless of payment method, customers will get additional Trade In Trade Up Top-Up depending on the new Galaxy Device being purchased.
7. The top-ups will be a discount on top of the collective value of the traded-in phones, and will only be applied once per transaction.
8. Starting October 1, 2021, customers of SES outlets that availed the Trade-In Trade-up program may choose between Option 1 or Option 2 as their TOP-UP token.

Customer mechanics for Samsung Online Store:

1. Customers may trade-in their old smartphone (any brand) towards a new Galaxy device via our Samsung online store (samsung.com/ph).
2. In the BUY NOW page of the product display page, click “Yes Please” in the trade-in option found below the image of the product.
3. In the next page, input the brand and model of the phone to trade-in together with your residence postal code and click continue.
4. The website will require the customer to download the BLANCCO app for customer to perform the necessary steps for the phone’s self-diagnosis. Kindly use the QR code or download link provided in Samsung.com/ph only.
5. Follow the instructions from the app. Once done, a trade-in ID code will be generated.
6. Copy the code from the app and go back to the Samsung.com page. Input it in the TRADE-ID section and click continue.
7. Trade-in discount will appear and will show how much the customer’s device for trade-in is worth. Click APPLY TRADE-IN if the customer is okay with the discount and wants to apply it in his/her purchase. For online, only 1 trade-in device per new phone is allowed.
8. Total discount will appear in product’s new SRP. Total discount will include the residual value of the device for trade-in and the corresponding TOKEN of the new Samsung phone to purchase.
9. Starting October 1, 2021, customer may choose between the following payment options online:
a. Straight Payment (Credit Card, GCash, Grabpay)
b. 0% Credit Card Installment / Tendopay
10. Regardless of payment method, customers will get additional Trade In Trade Up Top-Up depending on the new Galaxy Device being purchased.
11. The top-ups will be a discount on top of the collective value of the traded-in phones, and will only be applied once per transaction.
11. Additional Trade-in Trade-up TOKEN for Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will only be given from Sept 22, 2021 onwards. Regular trade-in trade-up transactions before Sept 22, 2021 may still be entertained but will not receive any Top-up token.
