Chicken and Potato Pie


  • 500 grams instant mashed potato
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups pounded chicken breast
  • ½ cup oil or melted salted butter
  • ½ cup chopped button mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. chopped basil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup quickmelt cheese


1. Follow the package instructions for the instant mashed potato using the Samsung Smart Oven Microwave mode. Then add salt and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
2. Place the chicken in an oven-proof dish and top it with oil or melted salted butter. Put inside the Samsung Smart Oven and set to Microwave + Grill for 4 minutes. Flip the chicken and set it for another 4 minutes. Let it cool then chop.
3. For the filling, mix the chicken, button mushrooms, basil and mushroom soup in a bowl.
4. Place the filling in 4 ramekins. Top it with mashed potato then the quickmelt cheese.
5. Place it inside the Samsung Smart Oven and set to Microwave + Convection for 4 minutes. Then set it to Grill mode for 1 minute. Top with basil and serve.
