Additionally, apps running in the background may not receive updates or send you notifications when power saving modes are turned on.

Medium power saving mode

From Settings, search for and select Power mode. Tap Medium power saving, review the mode's settings and then tap Apply.

The mode's options can be customized before tapping Apply. For example, you can turn on AOD (Always On Display), but please keep in mind that changing the settings will affect your phone's battery life.

Maximum power saving mode

Some functions might be disabled, but you can still make calls, sends texts, and use certain apps. Rest easy because your phone's battery will last long after you've gone to sleep.

From Settings, search for and select Power mode. Tap Maximum power saving, review the mode's settings and then tap Apply.

The mode's options can be customized before tapping Apply. For example, you can turn on AOD (Always On Display), but please keep in mind that changing the settings will affect your phone's battery life.

Optimized power saving mode

Your phone can automatically set the recommended battery life for you with the Optimized power-saving mode. Your phone will find the ideal balance between performance and available battery life.

From Settings, search for and select Power mode, and then tap Optimized. Your phone will automatically switch to this mode.

You can also choose the Adaptive power saving feature to save battery life based on your usage patterns. Tap the switch at the bottom of the screen to turn this on.
