Wallpaper is distorted after setup on Galaxy Note9

This symptom is a temporary phenomenon that can be used as a normal screen by changing the wallpaper and this is not a display problem. There are some errors in restoring backed-up wallpapers from other devices via Samsung Cloud.

Before you try the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. Please check the following steps on how to update your mobile device's software.  

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Alternatively to change the background wallpaper, follow the below steps.

Set wallpaper via Samsung Theme

Step 1. Go to Settings, tap Wallpapers and themes.

Step 2. Select background image from Samsung themes and tap SET AS WALLPAPER.

Step 1. Tap and hold on to the home screen and select Wallpapers.

Step 1. From the Gallery application, select the image which you want.

Step 1. From the apps screen, go to the Google folder and tap Photos.
