Wallpaper is distorted after setup on Galaxy Note9

This symptom is a temporary phenomenon that can be used as a normal screen by changing the wallpapermand this is not display problem. There are some errors in restoring backed up wallpapers from other devices via Samsung Cloud.

 

Samsung is scheduled to release a new Software update at earliest possible. Please check regularly for updates to your device SW via the  Smart Switch PC or FOTA. Samsung encourages users to keep your software and apps updated to latest version.

 

Alternatively  to change the background wallpaper, following the below steps.

Distorted wallpaper

Set wallpaper via Samsung ThemeClick to Expand
1 From the Settings screen, tap Wallpapers and themes

2 Select background image from Samsung themes and tap SET AS WALLPAPER
Select background image from Samsung themes and tap SET AS WALLPAPER

Set wallpaper through Home ScreenClick to Expand
1 Tap and hold on the home screen and select Wallpapers.
Tap and hold on the home screen and select Wallpapers.
2 Select background image from Samsung themes and tap SET AS WALLPAPER
Select background image from Samsung themes and tap SET AS WALLPAPER

Set wallpaper through GalleryClick to Expand
1 From Gallery application, select the image which you want.

2 Tap and tap Set as wallpaper
Set as wallpaper

Set wallpaper through Google folderClick to Expand
1 From apps screen, go to Google folder and tap Photos.
Tap Photos
2 Select the image what you want.
Select the image you want
3 Tap and tap Use as

4 Tap Wallpaper.
