Galaxy Watch4 uses a BIA sensor to measure body fat, muscle, and body water in seconds. For accurate results, measure under consistent conditions and follow the correct posture.

Step 1: Use the watch to send a small electrical signal through your body
Step 2: View results like body fat and skeletal muscle

Notes:
Do not use this feature if you are pregnant or have implanted medical devices.

Prepare for accurate measurement

Step 1: Measure at the same time each day (preferably morning)
Step 2: Measure on an empty stomach
Step 3: Remove metal objects
Step 4: Avoid measuring after exercise or shower

Consistent conditions improve accuracy.

How to measure your body composition

Step 1. Tap Samsung Health on the Apps screen.

Step 2. Tap Body composition.

Step 3. Tap Measure.

Step 4. Enter your weight and tap Confirm.

Step 5. Place your middle and ring fingers on the Home and Back keys to begin measuring your body composition.

Step 6. Check measured body composition results on the screen.

Notes:
Keep your body still during the measurement.

Maintain correct posture

Step 1: Raise your arms to chest level without touching your body
Step 2: Keep fingers on the buttons without touching each other
Step 3: Stay still until measurement is complete

Notes:

  • Dry skin may affect results, so lightly moisturize if needed.
  • This feature is intended for fitness tracking only and not for medical diagnosis.
