Hello everyone! This is my review of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, 3 weeks after receiving my Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold in Singapore! -------------------------------------------------------------------- The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is not as bothersome to hold with one hand when unfolded as I initially thought, but you may occasionally need to use your pinky finger to support the phone when it is opened into a 10" tablet. Folding and unfolding the phone feels really satisfying, and it only takes a few seconds to fully unfold it. It really doesn't feel as if it will break when you unfold it many times a day. The weight is also not an issue, although the phone is slightly heavier than the Z Fold7. I got used to it a week after getting the Trifold on the 19th of December. The crease is visible from an angle, but not from the front. Samsung's software is stellar, with a sophisticated and seamless multitasking mechanism that enables the phone to toggle between many programs in tandem via a split-screen grid or resized windows. On the massive 10-inch canvas, I can run three apps simultaneously without any of them feeling crowded. I can see the text flawlessly in all three windows. Under heavy usage, the phone does heat up ever so slightly, but it does cool down after a few minutes thanks to the three holes around the phone that allow for quick heat dissipation. With a 5,600 mAh cell powering a 10-inch display, battery life is pretty good for day-to-day use. This phone can easily last me 10 hours while using the inner screen with heavy usage. This camera technology is the same as that of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It's not a big deal for regular, casual users like me, and the photos are still of excellent quality. Price-wise, it costs $3,988 in Singapore, and there is only one option available, which is 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM. Converting the price to USD, it will be around $3,100. Is it worth the price? Definitely. Would I recommend it? Yes, I would. If you're looking for a 2-in-1 device that replaces your tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is the one to get! I get glares when I unfold the phone, but it's fine since only six countries, including Singapore, have the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold. I also get onlookers asking me questions about it, and some want to try my Trifold.

Pre-registration process was terrible, tried it twice and didn't receive confirmation email. Didn't get any invitation to purchase the phone, had to set my own reminder to login to Samsung website to buy it on the 12th midnight. While purchasing the phone, there wasn't an option to pick the date of pick up at Vivo City experience store. Terrible customer service, called the Samsung hotline and was given the run around and at the end was told unable to collect before 24th December. Decided to head down to Vivo on 23rd to try my luck to collect it and they let me collect the phone. Considering it's the most expensive phone Samsung has, claimed to come with priority service, it doesn't feel that way at all. The phone looks good with minimal crease on the folding section, but the buying process is terrible. Samsung need to work harder to make the buying experience better for this phone
I’ve been a Samsung fan for over 15 years and have purchased three generations of Samsung Fold including Fold 7. Unfortunately, this has been by far the worst buying experience I’ve ever had with Samsung. I registered multiple times for the pre-sale at the Samsung Vivo store and also expressed interest on the Samsung Singapore website, yet I never received any proper confirmation or updates. Then one day, I suddenly received an “early access” email — but with no link and no clear instructions on what I was supposed to do! This is extremely frustrating! Samsung, come on! Why treat your most loyal customers this way — the very people who are willing to spend nearly S$4,000 on a single phone? After failing to secure a unit despite all the registrations, I’ve honestly given up. This experience has seriously made me reconsider sticking with Samsung. Loyalty should mean something, and right now, it feels completely disregarded.
Not too sure about trifold .. large screen without spen , I think samsung make a big mistake there. What makes samsung product different is the Spen . Pricing if higher abit than fold 7 is ok , but around 3.4k is way too expensive.. I have the fold 7. Getting another tab and with water resistant much higher and spen makes it much better choice and with keyboard. The chip is not the latest too.... I guess I stick with fold 7 and gaming on it is much better . $3988 for a 512gb ??? You must be joking samsung . Better get a fold and a tab s11 with spen. That price and you can't use 2 screen . No way will I be getting that .
I want a huge folding tablet phone, so I buy a huge folding tablet phone. If you've daily driven the fold and other competitors for as long as I have and Samsung has been the standard of folding reliability in this segment, what's there to complain about.

An exclusive phone that they send you a link on the day of restock to log in with a unique access code to reach their website and make a purchase. Received the access code via email for the 16th January restock but didn't receive the link when it launched at 10am. Link only came in at 3 hours later to access which was too late by then as product is out of stock. So much for 'first come first served'. Been waiting since the very start in December of registering for interest, for marketing and updates, now I do not even know when the next restock is and whether I am abel to get my hands on one. A really disappointing wait and my interest has progressively died down since its first release. Like what some has mentioned, I rather know that it has reached my turn in queue and have a guaranteed purchase when given the exclusive access code to go in and key my details, and not have a code that serves no purpose other than logging in to the website to see the phone sold out. Happy for those who get the chance to get this cool device, really hope Samsung do something about those who indicated their interest and not leave them disappointed and lose trust in the brand.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is very unique that unfolds twice to reveal a large, tablet-like display. I use now the phone since 21 December. the buying process the 12th December was quite tricky because of so many demand. order was finally able to catch a piece. the hand over at The experience store was nice. all staff member for kind. now some words to the phone: it's a tablet.. not anymore phone and this in the good way.. the battery life is limited if you use the big screen but this is logical with the battery capacity. used as a phone with small screen the battery life is acceptable. the inner screen is quite soft and you need to be careful. that there is no eSim is tragical. I like that there is Samsung Dex native on the big screen. used with external screen the phone gets to double screen workplace. during traveling I use a compact keyboard with touchpad.
The device looks fine but scalpers trying to get rich quick are preventing real users from having access to it. You can see these going on Carousell already (since day 1) and Samsung made it impossible for people to buy the phone regularly. Also, the "waitlist" is a joke...I registered as soon as it opened and never got a message.
From the review of specification is very impressive. Sure would like to have a higher storage capacity like 1TB to 2 TB. As I needed for higher quality grahic and for video editing storage. Hope Samsung can add on with a upgrade version .

Design wise appears to be futuristic, however with that price tag it will be better of to buy a laptop. Including the fact that the AI is only valid for 6 months, after that you would have to pay for subscription. If really you need to take professional pictures, better of getting a SLR which wont cost a bomb.

Poor arrangement on the booking and kick starts selling process.
Used 2 fold, fold 4 and fold 6. Both display spoiled after crossed 12 months, fold 4 failed after 16 months, and fold 6 failed after 14 months. Luckily fold 4, bought extended warranty. Hence can Change display foc. Fold 6, never bought extended warranty. Currently used as normal bar phone. Not able to use to the full feature of the fold. Hence giving up on future fold phone, unless prepared to spend extra for extended warranty or display replacement cost
It came with a dead pixel, absolutely ran around trying to get it taken care of. This is my 9th Samsung phone, but will be my last. Customer support is terrible.

Pricey gadget promoted all the featured n showed the world this tablet which could be folded twice n put in ur pocket. 1. Disappointed it has scrolling issue (folded n after unfold) which will scroll back when browsing fast, felt so back dated like using a Samsung Note 2 that had this problem... 2. NO ESIM on a phone that cost so much (pls save the excuses using country limitation)... 3. Cus-to-m-er ser--v-ice uses lawyer english to ask a question forcing u to answer on their term. 4. Doesnt have a decent phone case just to have it stand? 5. What is so difficult to have a 1Tb storage phone for today 2026? I find it disappointing to see samsung charge $100+ to their customers for a piece of plastic for who knows how strong or rigid the hinge was. It is weird to give a charger but take back so much... after using for 2months i wouldnt recommend a common or tech person to buy this phone.

Compare with Huawei mate xt it can't be fold into 2 display usage instead it's 1 display or 3 display totally not putting all the screen into full usage not worth the price tag
I have been waiting for this device since it was first announced, and, overall, it has not disappointed. We'll engineered, and truly provides a "pocket tablet" experience. However, I am disappointed that the Singapore variant of this device does NOT support eSIMs.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
