In 2015 kocht ik de eerste tablet van Samsung met amoled scherm, de tab S. Geweldige koop geweest want hij doet het nog steeds goed met nog steeds een prachtig beeld en goede batterijduur. Alleen zijn er al 7 jaar geen veiligheidsupdates meer te krijgen en is de laatste Android versie waarover ik kon beschikken Android 6. Dus werd het wel een keer tijd voor een update. Ik wilde perse weer een amoled scherm omdat dat gewoon zoveel beter is dan een lcd scherm, bovendien niet groter dan 11 inch. Dit werd pas mogelijk bij de standaard tab S9 die ik nu sinds ruim een maand in mijn bezit heb. Daar heb ik zeker geen spijt van. Wat een fijne tablet is dit ook weer. Prachtig beeld, lekker snel en een mooi stereo geluid over 4 speakers. Ik heb mij verbaasd over de test van de Consumentenbond waarin het geluid over de koptelefoon maar op een magere 5,5 uitkwam. Onvoorstelbaar want zelfs met een minder goede hoofdtelefoon kun je het geluid via de equalizer die standaard ingebouwd zit in de tablet naar wens instellen. Ik heb dat alleen niet kunnen testen want ik heb geen slechte koptelefoon in huis. Ik heb drie goede draadloze koptelefoons gebruikt van LG, Philips en Samsung en alle drie gaven ze een formidabele geluidskwaliteit,. De Galaxy buds 3 pro bleken een geweldige aanvulling op deze tablet omdat die zo handig in het gebruik zijn met aanpasbare ruisonderdrukking en een directe vertaalmogelijkheid van buitenlandse telefoongesprekken, hoewel ik er nog niet helemaal achter ben hoe ik die moet gebruiken. Het opstarten gaat razendsnel: flap omhoog van de cover, je vingerafdruk zetten en je kunt meteen aan de slag. Verder zit er een stylus pen bij met veel mogelijkheden, zoals bijvoorbeeld het vertalen van tekst terwijl je eroverheen strijkt. Maar ook een indrukwekkend plaatje maken van een tekeningetje dat je schetst. Sommige plaatjes worden echte kunstwerken en zien er zo gelikt uit dat je ze in zou willen lijsten om aan de muur te hangen! De accuduur is prima; je kunt er denk ik wel 5 films op kijken zonder bij te laden. En zou je zonder stroom raken dan kun je hem snel weer bijladen. Helaas zit er geen oplader bij, alleen een usb-c kabel, maar dat is ook het geval bij andere producenten. De fotokwaliteit is ook uitstekend. Je foto's kun je direct na opname bewerken waarbij je gebruik kunt maken van AI om leuke effecten te creëren. Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld stukken uit de foto weghalen en ergens anders neerzetten of Importeren in een andere foto, dat werkt probleemloos. Ik kan eigenlijk niks ten nadele van deze tab S9 zeggen. Ik gebruik hem elke dag weer met heel veel plezier. Fantastische tablet echt een aanrader!

Dat was ook het eerste wat mij opviel, de tablet is lekker compact en hierdoor goed draagbaar. Ook is de tablet heel erg dun, zelfs nog dunner dan mijn smartphone. Dit alles zorgt er ook voor dat hij licht is, hierdoor is het heel comfortabel om de tablet voor langere tijd vast te houden. De tablet beschikt over een fantastisch OLED-scherm. Dit is niet alleen een heel mooi scherm maar het biedt ook praktische voordelen, ik vind het zelf comfortabeler kijken omdat er minder blauw licht vanaf komt. Vooral s'avonds is dit een voordeel, bijvoorbeeld met lezen. Ook is het energiezuinig. Verder beschikt de tablet over een krachtige Snapdragon processor waardoor er zeer veel rekenkracht aan boord is. Ik heb vaak tientallen (zware) apps open staan zonder problemen. Ook gaat de batterij erg lang mee. Kortom is dit een fantastische tablet die nog jaren mee kan komen. Vooral als je een compacte tablet zoekt voor bijvoorbeeld handheld gebruik of reizen is dit de beste optie die er is.

Mijn S4 was nog steeds een uitstekende tablet maar de S9 is toch wel een heel mooie upgrade. Alles draait nog sneller en nog soepeler en het beeld is weer waanzinnig. Ik gebruik hem nu zelfs ook zakelijk want met de S-pen en keyboardcover kan je hem echt als een workstation gebruiken. Dikke aanrader

Ik ben zeer tevreden over de Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. Het apparaat heeft een uitstekende beeldkwaliteit en biedt een goed geluid. De S Pen werkt precies zoals het hoort, wat de gebruikservaring nog beter maakt. Ik raad deze tablet zeker aan voor iedereen die een nieuwe tablet overweegt. In de toekomst ben ik van plan om ook de toetsenbordhoes uit te proberen.

Ik werk veel in laboratoria en met water en het nieuwe waterdichtheidscertificaat komt enorm van pas in vergelijking met bijvoorbeeld een laptop. Ook is de pen erg fijn in gebruik en dit zorgt ervoor dat ik geen pen en papier meer hoef te gebruiken, ook weer een plus voor het milieu! Het scherm is ook lekker fel voor omgevingen met veel licht maar in donkere omgevingen kan hij ook met de extra dim modus heel prettig worden om naar te kijken in de avonduren!

Dit gemak heb ik nooit eerder zo mogen ervaren, dus ik ben er heel blij mee. Daarbij heeft het scherm een prachtig beeld en is de Tab S9 makkelijk in gebruik en reageert snel. Hoe fijn zou het zijn als ik een en ander kan gaan combineren met de Galaxy Watch7 of Galaxy Buds+ die ik met deze review kan winnen.

De Tab S9 is een ontzettend fijne tablet voor alle dagelijkse bezigheden Inmiddels heb ik er een Book Cover Keyboard bij besteld welke de tablet ontzettend veelzijdig maakt. Ik gebruik hem nu voor mijn studie en werk als vervanger op de laptop. Dit omdat ik zo'n 90% van de werkzaamheden perfect uit kan voeren op de tab S9. Ondertussen kan ik mijn privé leven ook monitoren dankzij de naadloze connectie met mijn telefoon. Kom ik thuis koppel ik de keyboard los en gebruik ik de tab S9 voor entertainment doeleinde. Dit allemaal zonder dat ik me druk hoef te maken dat de tablet met een lege accu komt te zitten. Kwaliteit is wat ik gewend ben, kraakhelder scherm, snel apparaat, netjes en high-end afgewerkt en de S-pen is een dik pluspunt. Heerlijk hoe de tablet samen werkt met andere Samsung apparaten als Galaxy buds. Al met al dik tevreden, ik heb de Tab S9 echt bijna altijd bij me.

It is a upgrade from my Tab S6, this tablet is an amazing companion and an enabler, amazing screen, sound and features, I mainly use it for studying, (read and write and now finally collaborating with an AI agent), instant translation independent of the app (samsung feature) helps me a lot with the local language that I am still learning.

Wel een nadeel is de stylus, die zit alleen met magneetje aan de tablet, dus die is telkens kwijt. In mijn telefoon Samsung S22 ultra zit de stylus in de telefoon zelf, perfect gedaan daar, helaas is dit niet het geval bij de Galaxy Tab S9

Fijne opvolger van mijn Tab s4. Gebruik hem zakelijk en op reis. De 5G maakt het eenvoudig om niet gebonden te zijn aan wifi spots. Gebruik de pen icm Onenote voor notities van vergaderingen. Verder zijn de office applicatie prima om onderweg te gebruiken. Laptop gaat niet meer mee.

De Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is een veelzijdige, gemakkelijk te gebruiken tablet. Persoonlijk gebruik ik het product zowel privé als professioneel. Het is mogelijk de twee verschillende wijzen van gebruik geheel gescheiden te houden door middel van het gebruik van Samsung Dex. Met een druk op de knop opent Samsung Dex en is de tablet klaar voor professioneel gebruik. De tablet kan gemakkelijk een grote hoeveelheid zwaardere applicaties simultaan open houden. Voor privé gebruik kan de tablet alles wat verwacht mag worden. De tablet beschikt over een lange batterijduur en kan langdurig alle vormen van media afspelen. De vier speakers zorgen voor luid en helder geluid. De S pen is eigenlijk het enige minpunt. De volle potentie van dit product kan helaas niet benut worden. De mogelijkheid om handgeschreven tekst met de pen om te zetten in tekst werkt niet intuïtief en interpreteert handschrift te vaak verkeerd. Hopelijk wordt dit toekomstig softwarematig opgelost. De S Pen is tijdens professioneel gebruik wel geweldig voor werk in bijvoorbeeld Excel of Word.

Vanaf het moment dat ik deze tablet in handen kreeg, ben ik onder de indruk van zijn krachtige prestaties en indrukwekkende functies. Het slanke en gestroomlijnde ontwerp van de Galaxy Tab S9 5G maakt het een lust voor het oog. Het heldere en levendige scherm zorgt voor een meeslepende kijkervaring, of ik nu video's bekijk, games speel of productief werk verricht. De 5G-connectiviteit heeft mijn internetervaring naar een geheel nieuw niveau getild, met razendsnelle downloads en naadloze streaming. Wat me het meest opviel, is de soepele multitasking-functionaliteit. Met de krachtige processor kan ik moeiteloos schakelen tussen verschillende apps en taken, zonder enige vertraging. De batterijduur heeft me aangenaam verrast; ik hoef me geen zorgen te maken over een lege batterij, zelfs bij intensief gebruik gedurende de dag. Daarnaast heeft de Galaxy Tab S9 5G een uitstekende camera, waardoor ik momenten met haarscherpe details kan vastleggen.
