1. Samsung Galaxy 2024 Lucky Draw (“Lucky Draw”) is organised by Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. of 30 Pasir Panjang Road Mapletree Business City #17-31/32 Singapore 117440 ("Samsung").

2. Employees and immediate family members of Samsung, third party marketing and service providers (e.g. advertising/ partner agencies) who are involved in the set-up and/or operation of this Lucky Draw are not eligible to participate.

3. Participants must be Singapore residents and aged 18 years and above as stated on their Identity Card/ Passport (as of 3 January 2024).

4. By participating in this Lucky Draw, each participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All rules and regulations and instructions issued by Samsung from time to time will be deemed incorporated in these Terms and Conditions.

5. Key Dates

(a) The Lucky Draw will commence from 3 January 2024, 7:00 AM SGT to 31 March 2024, 11:59PM SGT (“Lucky Draw Period”).    

(b) Submissions for the Lucky Draw on the Lucky Draw website (www.samsung.com/sg/luckydraw) will commence on 24 January 2024 9:00AM SGT and ends on 31 March 2024, 11:59PM SGT. Entries received after 31 March 2024 at 11:59PM SGT will not be accepted.

(c) The Lucky Draw will be conducted on 4 April 2024, 3.00PM at Samsung’s place of business at 30 Pasir Panjang Road Mapletree Business City #17-31/32 Singapore 117440 in the presence of an independent scrutineer.

(d) The 8 lucky winners will be notified by 11 April 2024, 2:59PM SGT. Winning entries will be randomly selected using computerised means.

(e) The results of the Lucky Draw will be published on the Lucky Draw website (www.samsung.com/sg/luckydraw).

6. Eligibility

(a) Participants must register their interest and receive a promo code / e-voucher from Samsung via www.samsung.com/sg/unpacked, and/or official Samsung partner channels between 3 January 2024, 7:00AM SGT and 18 January 2024, 1:59AM SGT.

(b) Participant must also purchase the next Samsung Galaxy device from any of the following platforms: Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App, Samsung Experience Stores or official Samsung partner channels between 18 January 2024, 2:00AM SGT to 30 January 2024, 11:59PM SGT.

For the purpose of determining a participant’s eligibility for the Lucky Draw, the date and time of his/her lucky draw submission shall be determined based on Samsung’s system records. Samsung shall not accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed, whether or not arising during operation or transmission, as a result of any error or any factor beyond its reasonable control.

7. Lucky Draw Mechanics

(a) Participants must submit their personal information (i.e. name, email address and contact number) with their purchase details (i.e. promo / e-voucher code, IMEI number, screenshot of IMEI number, valid proof of purchase) on the Lucky Draw website (www.samsung.com/sg/luckydraw) between 24 January 2024 9:00AM SGT to 31 March 2024 11:59PM SGT. Once the form is submitted, participants will not be able to make any further amendments.

(b) Participants shall enter their personal particulars accurately, clearly and provide all information requested. By entering the Lucky Draw, the Entrant hereby warrants that all information submitted is true, current and complete. Samsung reserves the right to revoke any prize(s) awarded to any participant if any submitted information is deemed false, inaccurate and/or incomplete.

(c) Only one (1) entry can be submitted for each new Samsung Galaxy device purchased. Samsung reserves the right to remove any entry which Samsung determines is a duplicate entry to prevent individuals from gaining any unfair advantage in the Lucky Draw.

(d) The 8 lucky winners will be notified via e-mail from Samsung. Details on redemption of prizes will be separately communicated to the winners.

8. Redemption of Prizes

(a) Each of the 8 lucky winners will receive a travel voucher for redemption from Nam Ho Travel Service (Singapore) Private Limited (“Nam Ho”) (total value worth SGD$6,000). The value of the travel voucher covers a pair of business class tickets to Seoul and hotel accommodation for 2 people:

(i) The travel voucher will allow the bearer to offset S$4,800.00 from their purchase of 2 x return Business Class tickets to Seoul by any of the airlines flying direct or 1 stop. Any un-used value will not be refunded and any change of date / amendment of names, if applicable, will be subject to amendment fees.

(ii) The travel Voucher will also allow the bearer to offset S$1,200.00 from their booking of any hotel stay in Seoul, South Korea at any time within the validity period. Any un-used value will not be refunded should the total amount of the hotel booking be less than the voucher value and any change of date of stay, if applicable, will be subject to amendment fees.

(b) Each travel voucher will be valid for 12 months, starting from date of issue (11 April 2024) and must be presented in its original copy. No extensions of voucher validity will be allowed. Winners are fully responsible for contacting Nam Ho to redeem their prizes before the expiry date of 10 April 2025.

(c) Each travel voucher is only valid for use by the winners to whom it is intended to be sent, and for a one-time usage.

(e) The prize(s) are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or other items, and is not transferable.

(f) In the event the winners do not respond to Samsung within three (3) weeks from the notification email, the winner shall forfeit his/her claim on the prize and no substitutes will be provided in whole or in part. Samsung shall have the right to award any unclaimed prizes to the next winner on the winner list.

9. Samsung collects participants’ personal information in order to conduct the Lucky Draw, and may, for this purpose, use, process and/or disclose (including to third parties overseas) such personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Samsung Privacy Policy (www.samsung.com/sg/info/privacy.html). Each participant consents to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information, and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Validity of each entry for the Lucky Draw is conditional on the participant providing this information.

10. By participating in the Lucky Draw, each participant is communicating with Samsung electronically. By doing so, each participant agrees to receive communications from Samsung electronically. Samsung will communicate by electronic mail to the electronic mail address provided by the participant and/or posting notices on the Lucky Draw website. Each participant consents to receiving electronically all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that Samsung provides in relation to the Lucky Draw.

11. Each participant agrees that he/she may be required by Samsung to, without compensation, take part in marketing, promotional and/or publicity exercises with respect to the Lucky Draw, and may be requested by Samsung to grant to Samsung such consents and waivers in respect of Samsung’s use and/or disclosure of his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness or other personal identifiable information in any media (including such personal identifiable information contained in any promotional photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken in respect of the Lucky Draw), for the promotion and publicity of this Lucky Draw, the Samsung brand and/or Samsung products. Each participant agrees that he/she is free to decline to participate or to provide such consents and waivers; however, in such an event then the participant may be disqualified from participating in the Lucky Draw.

12. Each participant shall not, without the prior written approval of Samsung, disclose (including without limitation on online platforms and social media) any confidential information provided to him/her or which he/she has access to as a result of his/her participation in the Lucky Draw, or speak or give any interviews or comments to the press or any other media relating to the Lucky Draw without Samsung’s prior written consent.

13. Samsung reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, or whose entry Samsung believes have been manipulated in any way, or who otherwise interferes with the Lucky Draw or does not adhere to these Terms and Conditions.

14. If this Lucky Draw is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, or for any other reason deemed necessary by Samsung, Samsung reserves the right in its sole discretion at any time and without assigning any reason, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to suspend, terminate or cancel the Lucky Draw, as appropriate. No person shall be entitled to, and Samsung shall not be liable for, any payment or compensation (whether in cash, credit or kind) whatsoever arising from the foregoing.

15. To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Samsung (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including for negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Lucky Draw, including but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Samsung's control); (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) any entry, claim or prize that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by Samsung) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Samsung; (iv) any variation to the value of the prize(s) stated in these Terms and Conditions; (v) any tax liability incurred by participant(s); or (vi) use of the Prize(s).

16. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each participant agrees to indemnify and hold Samsung harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) arising from any breach by the participant of these Terms and Conditions and/or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the participant’s participation in the Lucky Draw.

17. Except where expressly provided herein, each participant shall bear his/her own costs and expenses incurred and/or arising from his/her participation in the Lucky Draw, and no reimbursement may be sought from Samsung.

18. Samsung reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice and without assigning any reason.

19. In the event there is any dispute arising from the Lucky Draw or relating to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Samsung shall be final and binding on all parties. No correspondence, appeal or further claims will be entertained.

20. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and each participant irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
