1. This privacy policy applies to the personal information we may collect and use to provide the Samsung Health Monitor (the “Service” or “SHM”) which is a software-only medical application intended for use with compatible Samsung Galaxy Watches and mobile devices.
2. In addition to the information you provide directly, we process information obtained from or generated by your device such as, in relation to the BP Monitor function, your systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and your heartbeat; and in relation to the ECG function, your bioelectric signals, average heart rate, and information about your heart rhythm (such as possible cardia arrhythmias). This data is stored and managed locally on your device (smartphone and watch). This is in order to discern your eligibility to use the Service (under the terms of service applicable to you), provide the single channel electrocardiogram and other features of the ECG function and provide the blood pressure results and other features of the BP Monitor function.
3. Samsung does not store this data unless you choose to back-up this data using our other applications (such as via syncing or sharing this data with the Samsung Health App) and does not disclose health-related information generated by SHM that is locally stored. This information is generated by SHM on your device and will remain stored on your device until you manually delete the information or delete SHM from your device.
